Build "Squeek League", a polished, mobile-first static web game for Squeekchain's Sepolia testnet (chain 11155111). It is a community game, not made by the Squeekchain team (say so in the footer and on the rules page). Testnet only: no money, no prizes.

GAME: Each UTC day is a match of 24 hour-slots (slot s = UTC hour s = 6 Squeekchain rounds of 600 s). Before a day starts a player drafts exactly 3 distinct hour-slots in which they think the hamster Squeektoshi will be on the wheel, or makes a "Sleep call" (the whole day is idle). A draft scores floor(100 x active rounds inside the 3 slots / 18). A Sleep call scores 25 only if the whole day had zero active rounds. After the day anyone settles it on-chain from Squeekchain's real round data and scores the picks; standings come from the contract. A virtual "House Bot" plays too (it drafts the 3 busiest slots of the previous settled days; it is a plain statistical rule, never call it AI). A season is 7 days; ties for the title are shared. Picks are public. The skill is learning when the hamster usually runs.

CONTRACT (already deployed and verified, do NOT redeploy): SqueekLeague 0xaDEA9907bAA30D7B54E7B9Eb6F6551B9A0088e08 on Sepolia, deploy block 12079298, ownerless. Day 0 starts 2026-11-08T00:00:00Z; day d starts 86400 x d seconds later; firstDayStartRound=601.

Write: lockPicks(uint64 day,uint8 a,uint8 b,uint8 c); lockSleepCall(uint64 day); settleDay(uint64 day) (in order, only the day equal to nextDayToSettle); scorePicks(uint64 day,address[] players); crownChampion(uint32 season).

Read: nextDayToSettle() uint64; isSettled(uint64) bool; slotCounts(uint64) uint8[24]; pickOf(uint64,address) returns (bool locked,bool sleep,bool scored,uint8 a,uint8 b,uint8 c); botDraft(uint64) returns (uint8[3] slots,bool sleep); lockWindow(uint64) returns (uint256 opens,uint256 closes); seasonPoints(uint32 season,address) uint32; botPoints(uint32) uint32; topScore(uint32) uint32; leaders(uint32) address[]; pendingPicks(uint32) uint32; crowned(uint32) bool; dayStartTime(uint64) uint256; sleepPoints() uint16; core() address; streamId() bytes32. A day belongs to season floor(day/7).

Events: PicksLocked(uint64 indexed day,address indexed player,uint8[3] slots,bool sleep); DaySettled(uint64 indexed day,uint8[24] counts); Scored(uint64 indexed day,address indexed player,uint16 points); ChampionCrowned(uint32 indexed season,address indexed player,uint32 points); SeasonClosed(uint32 indexed season,uint32 topScore,uint256 champions).

Custom errors to translate into plain English for players: OutsideLockWindow (locking for day D is only open from 20 minutes after the previous day starts until 10 minutes before day D starts), BadSlots, AlreadyLocked, SettlePending (earlier days must be settled first), DayNotCertified (Squeekchain has not certified that day yet, try again in a few minutes), DayAlreadySettled, SettleInOrder, CoreChanged, DayNotSettled, NoPick, AlreadyScored, SeasonOpen, PicksPending, AlreadyCrowned.

Locking for a day can fail with DayNotCertified or SettlePending in the first ~20 minutes of a window: show a clear "waiting for Squeekchain to certify the previous day, or press Settle" state. Show the House Bot's pick for a day only when isSettled(day-2) is true.

SQUEEKCHAIN DATA: core address comes live from https://api.squeekchain.com/v1/economy/state (deployment.components.core.address; currently 0xFD6C166D4B8E2962E65746a13e5a0797CD4dE0c4). Squeekchain has been redeployed twice: on load compare it with the league's core(); if they differ show a clear full-width banner "Squeekchain was redeployed - this league is closed" and disable locking. Core read: roundPage(uint64 afterRound,uint64 throughRound,uint256 maxRecords) returns (uint64 certifiedThroughRound, (uint64 cumulativeWork,uint96 cumulativeBlockUnits,uint32 workPerThousandBlocks) start, (same) end, (uint64 roundId,uint64 cumulativeWork,uint96 cumulativeBlockUnits,uint32 workPerThousandBlocks,bytes32 dataHash)[] rounds). It covers rounds in (after, through], the span must be <= 16, only ACTIVE rounds (hamster did work) are returned, and asking beyond the certified frontier reverts. state().settledThroughRound is the frontier. Round r starts at 2026-11-03T19:50:00Z + 600 s x r; 2026-11-04T00:00Z is round 25 (day -4 relative to day 0 is round 25, each day is 144 rounds). Live "on the wheel right now" badge (decoration only, never used for scoring): GET https://api.squeekchain.com/v1/status -> measurement.freshness==='online' and measurement.rpmMilli>0.

Real history so far: activity is clustered into a few sessions between about 02:00 and 08:00 UTC; most hours are idle. Do not hard-code that; draw it from the data.

SCREENS (single page app, pixel/arcade look matching Squeekchain's hamster theme, readable on a phone, dark and light friendly):

  1. Today's draft: a 24-slot timeline (UTC hours, also show the player's local time), tap 3 slots or tap "Sleep call", see the House Bot's pick, a countdown to lock close, one "Lock my picks" transaction. Wallet connect (injected window.ethereum), auto-switch/add Sepolia. Show Sepolia faucet links for empty wallets.
  2. When does he run: a heatmap of active rounds per UTC hour built client-side from roundPage over all history (page in chunks of 16 rounds, cache in localStorage keyed by the certified frontier).
  3. What-if backtester (works with NO wallet): pick 3 slots (or Sleep) and instantly see the score you would have had on every completed past day (days before day 0 are computed from roundPage; settled league days from slotCounts).
  4. Settled-day replay: round-by-round timeline of a settled day with each drafted slot lit as hit or miss, every player's picks and points, and the House Bot.
  5. Standings for the current season from Scored events and the seasonPoints/topScore/leaders views, with the House Bot as a labelled row (never crowned), personal history, and buttons "Settle day", "Score picks", "Crown champion" for anyone (filter already-scored picks, batches of at most 8 players).
  6. Rules page in plain English, a share-result card, and a footer disclaimer.

TECH: static files only (Vite or plain ES modules; bundle dependencies, no runtime CDN). Use ethers v6. RPC: https://ethereum-sepolia-rpc.publicnode.com for calls with fallbacks; for eth_getLogs use https://sepolia.gateway.tenderly.co with block ranges of at most 5000 from block 12079298 and cache results (many public RPCs prune or limit logs). Sepolia transactions here can need much more gas than usual: use the wallet's own estimate, never hard-code a low gas limit. No backend, no analytics or tracking, no private keys, no network calls except Squeekchain's API, the RPCs above and the wallet. Include a README and tests for the scoring and slot-bucketing logic, and a 1200x630 dist/social-card.png.

ACCEPTANCE CHECKS (the build must pass all):

(a) A fresh wallet can lock a draft in 3 taps on a phone.

(b) A settled-day page renders from chain logs/reads alone (no server).

(c) The redeploy banner appears when the API's core address differs from the league contract's core().

(d) The what-if backtester works with no wallet connected.

(e) No private keys, no hidden network calls beyond those listed, no tracking.

Recorded the findings in .imd-findings.json. Website files remain unchanged.

    • High — bug: connecting a wallet makes the header overflow at 390px. The page becomes 405px wide and clips the account control. Extend the existing compact brand styling to accommodate it.
    • Medium — bug: completed read failures leave Activity and Replay stuck loading. Show the recorded error and an inline retry when prerequisite reads fail.
    • Medium — bug: failed player-log loads are presented as empty match history. Preserve an unavailable state instead of claiming zero participants or no picks.

Each finding includes an exact source snippet, measured reproduction, and proposed change.

    • highbug: connecting a wallet makes the header overflow at 390pxsrc/styles.css:350

Now: at 390px the 186px nonwrapping brand leaves insufficient room for the two utility controls and the connected-address button. Connecting changes the short "Connect" label into the 123px wallet control; its right edge reaches 405px and clips the account label in the initial viewport. This shared header overflows on every screen.

Change to: extend the existing compact-brand treatment through 430px: use --text-base for .brand, a 6px gap, and a 22px hamster mark; retain the wallet, theme and rules controls. The smaller brand gives the address control room while preserving 16px page padding.

Why: the brief requires a readable mobile-first game, and horizontal scroll or clipped critical controls at 390px is a high-severity layout failure.

Chromium, viewport 390 × 844, light theme, fonts loaded.

Use the injected wallet fixture in scripts/browser-check.mjs (Sepolia account 0xaDEA9907bAA30D7B54E7B9Eb6F6551B9A0088e08), open #draft, click Connect then Browser wallet; no transaction or signature is needed.

Read document.documentElement.clientWidth and scrollWidth and .connect-button.getBoundingClientRect().

      Actual: clientWidth=390, scrollWidth=405; the wallet button has x=282, width=123, right=405.

Its address text and right border extend beyond the screenshot.

The same header is present on Activity, What-if, Replay and League.

Expected: scrollWidth=390 and the entire wallet control inside the padded viewport.

At 320px the existing compact-brand rule avoids this overflow, confirming the missing intermediate-width treatment.

    • mediumbug: completed read failures leave Activity and Replay stuck loadingsrc/components/Replay.tsx:46

Now: useLeague records an initial core() read failure in data.error, but Replay renders only Loading whenever overview is absent. Activity and Backtest also ignore this shared error, so they continue announcing work after the request has failed.

Change to: render the existing ErrorNotice with data.error and a retry calling data.refresh() on these screens; show their loading states only while the prerequisite request is pending.

Why: a visitor must be able to distinguish loading from failure and retry the chain-backed history and replay features.

390 × 844, fresh browser storage, no wallet.

Serve dist/ and intercept both permitted RPC URLs: for eth_call to the league with data equal to the core() selector, return JSON-RPC error {code:-32000,message:"Test RPC temporarily unavailable"}; keep all other calls and APIs successful.

Wait for Refresh data to become enabled, then open #activity, #backtest and #replay/0.

Actual: Activity says "Reading certified rounds…", Backtest says "Loading certified history · 0/…", and Replay says "Reading the testnet…"; none displays the completed request error or an inline Retry.

The same state has a visible error and Retry on #draft.

Expected: an explicit failure state and retry on every affected screen.

    • mediumbug: failed player-log loads are presented as empty match historysrc/components/Replay.tsx:30

Now: unavailable events are converted to an empty player array. Replay announces "No player picks were locked for this day" after a log failure. Standings likewise reports 0 players and tells a connected player that no picks were found, even while topScore is 38.

Change to: preserve the unknown/error state until events have loaded successfully. Keep the existing log error and Retry; use "Player history unavailable" instead of empty-match, zero-player, and no-personal-picks claims when events are undefined. Show the true empty state only after a successful empty scan.

Why: failed reads do not establish that a match or wallet has no picks; the review requires failure states to say only what the app knows.

      390 × 844, fresh storage.

Use the existing scripts/browser-check.mjs synthetic state: time 2026-11-11T12:00:00Z, nextDayToSettle=3, certified frontier=1200, day-2 slotCounts with 3 active rounds at 02:00 and 4 at 03:00, two PicksLocked entries and one Scored entry worth 38.

Return JSON-RPC {code:-32000,message:"Test RPC temporarily unavailable"} for every Tenderly eth_getLogs request while keeping all eth_call reads successful.

      Open #replay/2 after loading finishes.

Actual: the 7-active-round replay and House Bot render, followed by both "Player logs could not load" and "No player picks were locked for this day."

With the injected test wallet connected as 0xaDEA9907bAA30D7B54E7B9Eb6F6551B9A0088e08, #standings shows "Leading score 38", "Players with picks 0", and "No picks found for this wallet yet."

Expected: unavailable/loading player history with Retry, without claiming an empty match, 0 participants, or no wallet picks.

Restoring the same fixture logs produces 2 participants and the 38-point player.

  4. Build websiteAgent #38015 files changed

All three findings reproduced on the accepted export and are now fixed, and .imd-responses.json answers each one as fixed. Git ignores that file through .git/info/exclude, so it won't show in git status, but it's at the repository root as the brief asks. I haven't committed anything, because no commit was requested.

FindingWhat I saw before the fixFix
High: header overflow with a connected walletThe page was 405px wide at 360, 375, 384, 390 and 393px, a wider range than reported.Applied the proposed compact brand through 430px. That alone still overflowed by 1px at 360px, so below 390px the wallet control also loses its icon and some padding.
Medium: Activity, What-if and Replay stuck loadingWith core() failing, all three kept showing their loaders forever.A core() failure now also counts as a history failure, and each screen shows the error with Retry.
Medium: failed log reads shown as empty historyReplay said "No player picks were locked", and League showed 0 players and "No picks found".Both screens now say "Player history unavailable" with Retry. "No picks" messages appear only after a successful scan and go away if a later scan fails.

    Other fixes:

    • League had an endless loader and a stuck "Checking the next day…" when reads failed.
    • What-if claimed no completed days existed while its history was still failing.
    • Error notices are now role="alert", because they replace a loader that screen readers announced.
    • "1 picks pending" is now singular.
    • The README linked to artifacts/ files that aren't in the repo. I removed those links and put a Better Interface review section in the README instead.

    Checks on the final build:

    • Build and tests: the build and typecheck pass, and all 14 unit tests pass.
    • Browser checks: all 15 Chromium groups pass, with no console or resource errors. Three are new, including a connected-header sweep at 15 widths from 320 to 780px on all six screens.
    • Design probe: taste@1 passes 16/16.
    • Screenshots: I looked at the connected header at 360 and 390px and the failure states at 390px.

    Limitations (also in the README):

    • WebKit wasn't installed here, so nothing ran in it.
    • No screen reader, physical wallet or real transaction was tested.
    • The review record from the first round isn't in the repo, so the new review covers only the changed screens and shared components. The rest had only the automated checks.
    • At 390px, the League table's last column starts clipped inside its scrollable area. I left that as is because you can scroll to it and the page itself doesn't overflow.

All three reported defects are fixed. No new reproducible defects were found. .imd-findings.json contains {"findings":[]}. Site files remain unchanged.

    • Header overflow: fixed. At 390×844, the connected header measures clientWidth=390, scrollWidth=390; the wallet button ends at 374px. The connected-header sweep passes across all six screens at 15 widths from 320–780px.
    • Failed reads appearing to load forever: fixed. Repeating the core() failure produces an alert and Retry on Activity, What-if and Replay, with zero loading indicators. Restoring service and retrying recovers the heatmap.
    • Failed logs appearing as empty history: fixed. Repeating the log failure shows “Player history unavailable,” preserves contract totals, and avoids zero-player and no-picks claims. Retry restores both participants, the 38-point result and personal history. A successful empty scan still shows the genuine empty state.

The visual idea is a hamster prediction league carried by pixel artwork, a compact hour grid and restrained green game controls.

The requirement inventory below records implementation and source or browser evidence. Post-launch states were exercised with deterministic fixtures; no real transaction was signed.
