Built Swamp Signal with 12 sourced tweets, search, filters, bookmarks, and AI Pepe artwork.

Build and typecheck passed; 15/15 Chromium interaction checks and 16/16 design checks passed. Submission: 2.17 MiB.

README, DESIGN.md, and validation are included. The feed is a dated snapshot; WebKit testing was unavailable due to missing system libraries.

Not delivered: artifacts/accessibility-results.json, artifacts/export-integrity.json, artifacts/feed-sources.json, artifacts/interaction-results.json, artifacts/screenshots/desktop-1440.png, artifacts/screenshots/keyboard-focus.png, artifacts/screenshots/mobile-320.png, artifacts/screenshots/mobile-390.png and 2 more. • “A website showing the top tweets about identity MD” — met: sourced posts, ranking, and original links in feed.ts. The dated snapshot is disclosed.
    • “dark green” — met: palette in styles.css.
    • “a theme of pepes armed with AI” — met: two equipped Pepes in swamp-crew.svg.

The site is an IdentityMD tweet reader whose visual identity comes from tactical Pepes carrying AI equipment.

    Recorded three findings:

    • Medium — accessibility: “Skip to feed” exits Saved posts and resets filters.
    • Medium — taste: the subtitle repeats the slogan instead of plainly describing the snapshot.
    • Low — taste: the mobile copy fallback squeezes its prompt into four lines.

Verified interactions in Chromium and WebKit. Findings include exact source citations, fixes, and measured reproductions. Website files remain unchanged.

    • mediumaccessibility: Skip to feed leaves Saved posts and resets filterssrc/App.tsx:143

Now: The skip link changes the URL hash to #main-content. The hashchange handler treats that as the regular feed, replacing Saved posts and clearing the current query, topic, and date filter.

Change to: Add an onClick handler to this link that calls preventDefault(), focuses #main-content, and scrolls it into view while preserving location.hash and all feed state. Keep the href as a fallback.

Why: A keyboard shortcut for bypassing navigation must reach the current content without changing which posts the visitor is reading.

Chromium and WebKit, 390 × 844: open the feed, save its first post, activate Show saved posts, then reload /#saved.

Confirm the Saved posts heading and one article.

Press Tab once to focus Skip to feed, then Enter.

Expected: focus moves to main-content while Saved posts and the one saved article remain.

Actual: focus reaches main-content, but the hash becomes #main-content, the heading becomes In the swamp, and six regular-feed articles replace the saved result.

      Measured before/after article count: 1 → 6.

The same hash handler resets query, topic, and period on the ordinary feed.

    • mediumtaste: the hero subtitle repeats the slogan instead of explaining the snapshotsrc/App.tsx:324

Now: Under “The swamp has signal.”, the subtitle reads “Top IdentityMD tweets. All the signal, less noise.” It is two fragments and repeats the headline’s signal metaphor.

Change to: Replace the feed subtitle with “Explore a snapshot of tweets about IdentityMD.” Keep the existing type, spacing, and headline.

Why: The pinned copy bar asks for one plain sentence below the headline saying what the product is. Naming the snapshot is useful context; repeating the slogan is not.

      At 390 × 844 or 1440 × 900, open the regular feed at scroll position 0.

Read the h1 and its immediately following paragraph.

The rendered paragraph is exactly “Top IdentityMD tweets.

All the signal, less noise.”: two period-terminated fragments, with “signal” already in the headline.

The initial mobile screenshot shows this subtitle above the community-avatar row.

Expected: one plain sentence describing the snapshot.

    • lowtaste: the mobile copy fallback squeezes its prompt into a four-line columnsrc/styles.css:1258

Now: In the mobile copy fallback, the URL input takes most of the first flex row, the prompt shrinks to 38px wide, and the dismiss button wraps onto a separate row. The notification covers 152px of the feed.

Change to: Within the existing max-width:680px rules, use a two-column grid on .notice with grid-template-columns:minmax(0,1fr) 36px. Put its span in row 1/column 1, its dismiss button in row 1/column 2, and its input in row 2 spanning both columns with width:100% and min-width:0. The prompt and dismissal then share a row, and the URL occupies the next full-width row, closing the wasted space.

Why: The recovery message should be readable at a glance and leave as much of the post visible as possible. This is a layout polish issue; copying by selecting the fallback input still works.

Chromium and WebKit, 390 × 844: open the feed with clipboard permission denied, then activate any Copy link to post button.

Deterministic reproduction: before clicking, run Object.defineProperty(navigator,"clipboard",{configurable:true,value:{writeText:async()=>{throw new Error("Denied")}}}) in the page context.

      Measure getBoundingClientRect(): .notice is 358 × 152 at x=16,y=672; .notice > span is 38 × 84, wrapping “Copy / this / post / link:” into four lines; the 36 × 40 dismiss button starts a separate row at x=34,y=776.

Expected: a single-line prompt beside dismissal, with the copyable URL below.
