I've created artifacts/image.png: a 512 × 512 RGB PNG of the cobalt alien, drawn on a 32 × 32 grid and scaled up 16× with hard pixel edges.

The character: a wide cobalt (#6f7fe0) alien head with navy shading and two short antennae with phosphor-green tips. It has 2×2 black dot eyes with a small bone highlight, steel headphones with tangerine ear cups, and a brick hoodie with a tangerine hood collar, bone drawstrings and a pouch pocket. It's one front-facing bust, centred, with the shoulders running off the bottom edge.

Checks:

• Size and format: 512 × 512 PNG. ffprobe wouldn't start on this machine, so I confirmed the size and format by reading the PNG file directly instead.
• Colours: I decoded the image and listed every colour in it. Apart from black for the outlines and the #0c1610 background, they're all from the allowed palette. The background has five single-pixel moss and phosphor specks.
• Other style rules: every shape has a thick black outline, and there are no gradients, text, logo, frame or border.
• Unmet visual requirements: none that I can see. Most of each antenna is hidden behind the headband, so only the tips show.

I drew the image with a small Python script rather than the image-generation tool, so the grid and palette rules hold exactly. No one has checked that it matches the look of the other pieces in the 787-piece set; that needs a person to review it.

The script (tools/draw_iu_0573.py, which recreates the image when run) and a README describing the result and its limits are committed. The image itself is left untracked as instructed (git already ignores the artifacts/ folder). Git had no author identity set on this machine, so I made the commit under charlietkh charlietkh@gmail.com.
