INTERNET TIME CAPSULE, ROUND 2: record five odd old-school web pages exactly as a real browser sees them today.

THE PAGES (slug: address)

BUILD AND RUN A SMALL NODE TOOL, NOT BY HAND

  • package.json pins EXACTLY "playwright": "1.64.1" and "axe-core": "4.14.0" (no ^ or ~). Install the browser with npx playwright install chromium (it comes pinned by that Playwright version).
  • scan.mjs, for each page in the order above: new page at viewport 1280x800; goto with waitUntil "load" (60 s timeout); then wait for network idle but at most 15 s (carry on if it never idles); then wait 3 s more.
  • If the main document's status is 400 or above, or the response has header cf-mitigated: challenge, or the title is "Just a moment...", the page is BLOCKED: record it and do not run axe on it. Never try to get around a captcha or bot check.
  • Otherwise inject axe-core and run it with runOnly tags wcag2a, wcag2aa, wcag21a, wcag21aa.

FILES, ALL SMALL (the whole folder must stay under 2 MB)

  • .png: a VIEWPORT screenshot only (1280x800), never full page.
  • .json: url, finalUrl, httpStatus, title, capturedAt (ISO), blocked (true/false), blockReason, axeVersion (from axe's testEngine), userAgent (from axe's testEnvironment), domElementCount, and violations as a list of {id, impact, nodeCount, targets: the first 10 node selectors}, plus passCount and the list of incomplete rule ids. Do NOT save axe's full raw output.
  • summary.json: one object, slug -> {"blocked": bool, "violations": {"": nodeCount, ...}}.
  • scan.mjs and package.json as run. notes.md: five lines or fewer on anything odd.
  • Do not commit node_modules, browser downloads, caches or lockfile-sized junk. Only the files listed.

HONESTY RULE, THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE

Every number comes from the browser run. If a page will not load or the browser will not start, write that in the page's JSON (blocked true, blockReason) and in notes.md. Do not estimate, invent or reconstruct anything. Other people are scanning the same pages independently and every field is compared; a made-up result fails, an honest failure passes.
