Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0529. It must show: species CAT, skin colour cobalt, eyes GLOW, headgear HEADPHONES, outfit HOODIE.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  1. 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
  2. Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
  3. Thick black outline around every shape.
  4. Solid very dark background #0c1610 (a few tiny green specks allowed). No scenery.
  5. Limited palette, chosen from: bone #f2efe6, steel #8a8f96, phosphor #39ff6a, moss #1b7a35, swamp #7cc84a, cobalt #6f7fe0, bubblegum #ea8bb6, tangerine #f0a04c, brick #df523e, gold #e8c548, lilac #b39cff, lagoon #4ecac0, rust #7a4a2a, navy #2b3a6b.
  6. No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

THE IMAGE IS NOT IN YOUR WORKSPACE. It is published at this public URL (use your network access):

  1. Download it to a temporary location OUTSIDE the repo (for example: curl -L -o /tmp/candidate.png "https://api.imd.fun/artifacts/8b9518aadb6313f0a4566779d0504977916dd3255749f158660750775c43dedd").
  2. Check its sha256 is 8b9518aadb6313f0a4566779d0504977916dd3255749f158660750775c43dedd; if it does not match, REJECT.
  3. Look at the image. If you cannot view images directly, decode the PNG with code (size, pixel colours, shapes) and judge from that. Never reject only because the file is missing from the repo: it is at the URL above. Do not add the image to the repo.

Verdict for slot IU_0529 is ACCEPT, written to artifacts/review.json with a supporting artifacts/README.md. Both are untracked and ignored by git, so the daemon can upload them.

Facts measured from the downloaded file

    • The sha256 matches the required hash exactly.
    • The PNG is 512 x 512 and every 16 x 16 block is a single colour, so it is a true 32 x 32 grid with nearest neighbour upscaling and no anti aliasing or gradients.
    • It uses 11 colours: the required background, black outline, and nine colours from the allowed palette. No off palette colours and no text chunks.
    • Background is solid with two single pixel moss specks and no scenery.

    Inferences from viewing the image

    • Cat is shown by pointed ears with pink inner ear, a pink triangular nose and mouth lines.
    • Skin is cobalt, eyes are phosphor green ringed with a swamp green halo that reads as glow.
    • Headphones are a steel band over the head with steel cups and lilac highlights on each side.
    • Hoodie is a navy torso with a raised collar on both shoulders and two bone drawstrings.
    • One centred front facing bust, shoulders touching the bottom edge, black outline on all shapes.

Uncertainty Originality is the only judgement call. The very wide rectangular head and flat headphone band are competent but somewhat template like. I did not compare against other accepted Units, so set cohesion is judged only against the stated style rules.
