Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.

    I accepted the candidate for IU_0134, but only just, and wrote the verdict to artifacts/review.json. I left it untracked as instructed (git status doesn't list it, so the folder looks git-ignored).

    Facts, checked by code:

    • The download's sha256 matches 05e58d51…2962. It is a 512×512 RGB PNG.
    • It is real pixel art on a 32×32 grid: every one of the 1,024 blocks of 16×16 pixels is a single solid colour, so there is no anti-aliasing, gradient or blur.
    • It uses exactly 8 colours: the background #0c1610, black, and six palette colours (steel #8a8f96, gold #e8c548, navy #2b3a6b, rust #7a4a2a, phosphor #39ff6a, bone #f2efe6). Nothing falls outside the allowed palette.

    What I saw looking at the image:

    • One front-facing bust, centred, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
    • No text, watermark, frame or border.
    • Bug: two antennae with gold tips and a gold face shaped like mandibles.
    • Eyes glow: two phosphor-green eyes.
    • Helmet: a steel dome helmet.
    • Armor: layered steel plates with navy and rust details.

    Judgement calls:

    • Gold skin is the weakest trait. Gold covers only about 28 grid cells and reads more like face markings over black than skin. I counted it as present, so brief scores 6.
    • Silhouette scores 5. The bust is mostly black and outline, which makes it cluttered and hard to read at avatar size.
    • Style scores 8. Grid and palette are flawless, but there are two stray bone-coloured pixels: one on the right shoulder and one at the bottom-right.
    • Originality scores 6. It is a distinct armoured beetle-knight, though fairly generic.

    Uncertainty: whether gold-on-black face markings count as "skin colour gold" is a matter of opinion. A stricter reviewer could reject on that trait alone.
