You are one neuron of a trading brain: the "News & social sentiment neuron".

You only sense news headlines, announcements, earnings/events calendars and social sentiment. Ignore charts, volume and on-chain data.

Use only these sources: https://www.coindesk.com/ https://www.theblock.co/ https://www.reuters.com/ https://www.cnbc.com/ https://x.com/ https://www.marketwatch.com/ https://finance.yahoo.com/ — do not use others.

Task: look at the current state of these assets through your sense only: BTC (Bitcoin), ETH (Ethereum), SOL (Solana), HYPE (Hyperliquid), LINK (Chainlink), TSLAx (Tesla (tokenized, xStock)), NVDAx (Nvidia (tokenized, xStock)), AAPLx (Apple (tokenized, xStock)), GOOGLx (Alphabet (tokenized, xStock)), MSTRx (Strategy/MicroStrategy (tokenized, xStock)), COINx (Coinbase (tokenized, xStock)), CRCLx (Circle (tokenized, xStock)), SPYx (S&P 500 ETF (tokenized, xStock)).

For EVERY one of these 13 assets you MUST decide "long" (expect it to RISE over the next 24 hours) or "short" (expect it to FALL). Do not skip any asset and do not answer "no trades".

If your sense gives no real signal for an asset, still choose a direction but set confidence 50 (= coin flip). Confidence is an integer 50-100.

Answer with a short reasoning (max 120 words), then end with ONE plain-text line that starts with PICKS: and covers all 13 assets as ASSET direction confidence leverage, separated by semicolons. No json, no code block, no brackets. Example:

PICKS: BTC long 78 4; TSLAx short 65 3; ETH long 55 2

Rules: asset must be one of the listed symbols exactly; direction is "long" or "short"; confidence is an integer 50-100; leverage is an integer 1-5 that shows how sure you are. 3 is the normal default for a call you believe in; use 4-5 when several signals agree, 2 when you only lean, and 1 only when your data contradicts itself. The brain already caps the whole book at 3x, so the risk is managed for you - do not shrink leverage just to be safe; cite the pages you used.

LIVE DATA (Hyperliquid 2026-10-16T06:03Z) - use this table first, sources for context. Row: ASSET price|% chg 1h 4h 24h 7d|r=% position in 24h range|% vs MA20 MA50 on 4h|f=funding %/h|oi=open interest, v=24h volume $|p=% vs oracle. SPYx = S&P 500 index level, not the SPY token (~1/10).

Signals are mostly thin, so I leaned on the live table and kept confidence low. CoinDesk's front page was the only source I could read. CNBC returned a 403, so I didn't use it.

    • Crypto: CoinDesk shows dip-buying in bitcoin ("Bitcoin buyers snap up a brief drop below $80,000 as Asian stocks rebound"). That is mildly supportive, but the 7-day trend is still negative. BTC and ETH get small longs. SOL, HYPE and LINK are weaker on 7-day moves and sit below their 50-period averages, so I shorted them at low confidence.
    • Equities: SPYx, TSLAx and GOOGLx are near the top of their 24-hour ranges. I'm fading TSLAx (very high range position, 97) and long SPYx and GOOGLx with a mild bias.
    • Reversals: CRCLx is up 11.6% in 24 hours, so I'm shorting it. COINx and MSTRx are also rallying hard (+7.6% and +6.3% in 24 hours). I'm keeping COINx long on momentum, and MSTRx short on the fade.
    • Oversold bounce: NVDAx is down 6% over 7 days, so I'm long it for a bounce.
    • Coin flip: AAPLx is at the bottom of its range with no news signal, so it's a long at 50.

    PICKS: BTC long 55 2; ETH long 52 2; SOL short 52 2; HYPE short 52 2; LINK short 52 2; TSLAx short 55 2; NVDAx long 55 2; AAPLx long 50 2; GOOGLx long 52 2; MSTRx short 52 2; COINx long 52 2; CRCLx short 55 2; SPYx long 53 2

    • coindesk.com “Hyperliquid founder wants U.S. oversight of trading platforms, not his blockchain”

Nothing in the news points hard either way, so most calls are low-confidence leans.

    • Crypto: CoinDesk reports "Bitcoin buyers snap up a brief drop below $80,000", with Asian stocks rebounding. That supports BTC and HYPE. HYPE also has a mild lift from the Hyperliquid founder's push for oversight of trading platforms rather than his blockchain. ETH is a small lean long on the same tone. SOL and LINK have no specific news, so I fade them after their roughly 4% 24h bounces.
    • MSTRx: The Block says "MSCI finalizes index rules that put Strategy, crypto treasury firms at risk of exclusion". That is a clear headwind, and it comes after a +6% bounce.
    • TSLAx, CRCLx and COINx: TSLAx and CRCLx look stretched. TSLAx sits at the top of its 24h range, and CRCLx is up 11.6% in 24h. COINx is a weak short after +7.6% in 24h.
    • NVDAx, AAPLx, GOOGLx and SPYx: I have no headline signal for them, so these are small long leans. NVDAx and AAPLx lean long on a mild rebound after their recent weakness. GOOGLx and SPYx lean long on general risk-on sentiment.

I could only fetch CoinDesk and The Block. I did not check Reuters, CNBC, MarketWatch, Yahoo Finance or X, so stock-specific news and earnings dates are not covered.

    PICKS: BTC long 56 3; ETH long 53 2; SOL short 51 2; HYPE long 55 2; LINK short 50 1; TSLAx short 55 2; NVDAx long 52 2; AAPLx long 51 2; GOOGLx long 52 2; MSTRx short 58 3; COINx short 52 2; CRCLx short 55 2; SPYx long 52 2

My 24-hour bias is mildly bearish: inflation and AI debt concerns outweigh the relief from falling yields, favoring shorts in tech and crypto-sensitive assets. Coinbase’s weaker earnings narrative reinforces that lean. Tesla gets a speculative long from its Roadster event catalyst. USDC’s regulatory recognition gives Circle a modest positive lean despite added oversight. HYPE’s regulatory debate is inconclusive; LINK lacks a fresh verified catalyst, so both receive coin-flip confidence. These are sentiment inferences; supplied technical and on-chain metrics do not drive the calls.

Bitcoin bounced back above $82,000 after its first drop below $80,000 in a month. That is a mild positive for crypto, but altcoins still lag. Short-term bounces after +4% moves in 24 hours often fade, and crypto is down over 7 days. The MSCI index rules that put Strategy and other crypto treasury firms at risk of exclusion weigh on MSTRx. CRCLx and COINx have run up hard (CRCLx +11.6% in 24 hours), so I lean toward mean reversion there. I read only CoinDesk and The Block, and I didn't check the equity pages. The equity picks rest mostly on the live table. SPYx, TSLAx and AAPLx are close to coin flips.

Hot wholesale inflation and AI debt concerns favor shorts in NVDAx, GOOGLx and SPYx (Yahoo Finance). Apple’s perceived insulation from AI spending supports a modest long (Yahoo Finance). Tesla’s Roadster reveal supports a speculative long, tempered by conflicting reactions (Yahoo Finance). Fed uncertainty creates a bearish crypto lean (CoinDesk); I extend that cautiously to MSTRx and COINx. HYPE’s regulatory messaging offers a weak positive (CoinDesk). LINK and CRCLx lack a sufficiently clear fresh signal: coin flips. These are news-based inferences, excluding technical and on-chain inputs.

    PICKS: BTC short 57 2; ETH short 56 2; SOL short 57 2; HYPE long 53 2; LINK short 50 2; TSLAx long 58 1; NVDAx short 64 3; AAPLx long 56 2; GOOGLx short 56 2; MSTRx short 57 2; COINx short 55 2; CRCLx long 50 2; SPYx short 58 2

Hot inflation news gives me a bearish 24-hour bias across crypto and growth equities (Yahoo Finance). SOL’s scheduled upgrade supports a modest bullish exception (CoinDesk). Citi’s favorable Circle call supports CRCLx, although tighter EU supervision complicates sentiment (Citi coverage, EU news). Tesla’s Roadster publicity supports only a tentative long (Yahoo Finance). Other shorts express the macro inference; LINK has no verified specific signal and receives coin-flip confidence. These calls exclude technical, volume and on-chain metrics.

My 24-hour news bias is bearish for BTC, ETH, SOL, COINx and SPYx: inflation and AI-financing concerns outweigh weak positive catalysts. NVDAx shares that pressure. MSCI’s finalized rules strengthen the MSTRx short. Ripple Prime’s expanded Hyperliquid offering supports HYPE. Apple’s Friday preorders and China AI approval support AAPLx. Tesla’s reveal drew mixed reactions, giving only a slight bullish lean. USDC’s regulatory designation gives CRCLx a modest legitimacy catalyst. LINK and GOOGLx lack a verified directional catalyst: 50 confidence.

I mostly read the news through the price table. CoinDesk says buyers bought BTC's first drop below $80,000 in a month and it bounced back to $82,000, but it also says BTC slid on a hot CPI print. Yahoo reports inflation at 3.7%, hotter than expected, which keeps bets on a Fed rate hike alive. It also reports a continuing chip sell-off, which is bearish for NVDAx. Bitmine buying more ether supports ETH. Samsung putting stablecoins on 82M Galaxy devices helps CRCLx and COINx. The Block says MSCI's final index rules could get Strategy excluded, a negative for MSTRx. Ripple Prime is adding swaps that reference Hyperliquid perpetual futures, a mild plus for HYPE. Tesla's Roadster reveal and talk of a SpaceX tie-up support TSLAx. I found no news for Apple, Alphabet or Chainlink, so those are at or near 50. Pages used: coindesk.com, finance.yahoo.com and theblock.co. CNBC and MarketWatch would not load.

    PICKS: BTC long 57 2; ETH long 60 3; SOL long 56 2; HYPE long 56 2; LINK long 50 1; TSLAx long 58 2; NVDAx short 60 3; AAPLx short 50 1; GOOGLx long 52 2; MSTRx short 58 2; COINx long 55 2; CRCLx long 60 3; SPYx short 55 2

The CoinDesk front page shows bitcoin bouncing back to about $82k after a brief dip under $80k, with Asian stocks rebounding. The same page shows altcoins leading declines the day before. I couldn't load CNBC (HTTP 403), so the equity picks rest mostly on the live table.

    • Crypto majors: I lean long on the dip-buying bounce, with low conviction.
    • HYPE: It is weaker on the week, so I take a coin-flip long.
    • TSLAx and SPYx: Both sit near the top of their 24h ranges, so I fade them.
    • NVDAx and AAPLx: NVDAx is down 6% on the week, so I expect a bounce. AAPLx sits near the bottom of its 24h range and is below its 20-period average, so I lean short.
    • COINx, CRCLx, MSTRx: I lean long on momentum.

    PICKS: BTC long 58 2; ETH long 56 2; SOL long 54 2; HYPE long 50 1; LINK long 52 2; TSLAx short 55 2; NVDAx long 55 2; AAPLx short 52 2; GOOGLx long 52 2; MSTRx long 54 2; COINx long 53 2; CRCLx short 50 1; SPYx short 50 1
