Build a complete, polished, single-page HTML5 Canvas arcade survival game called "SQUEEK RUNNER: AURA PROTOCOL", specifically themed around the Squeekchain Genesis ecosystem.

  1. VISUAL STYLE & UI THEME:
  • Dark cyberpunk / terminal aesthetic matching Squeekchain: pitch-black grid background (#080808), crisp white monospace typography, and neon cyan/green accents (#00ffcc).
  • Top navigation bar displaying the title "SQUEEKCHAIN // AURA RUNNER", a badge saying "GENESIS BUILD", and a button linking back to "https://squeekchain.com".
  • Clean HUD overlay showing: Current Aura Score, High Score (saved in browser localStorage), Multiplier (1x to 5x), and Current Rank Tier.
  1. GAMEPLAY & MECHANICS:
  • Smooth 60FPS arcade action playable with both Mouse/Touch movement and Keyboard (WASD / Arrow keys).
  • The player controls the "Cyber-Mouse" (drawn with sleek neon vector/pixel geometry and a glowing trail) navigating the Squeekchain mempool.
  • COLLECTIBLES (Good):
    • "Aura Orbs" (glowing cyan energy spheres): +10 Aura points.
    • "Genesis Cheese" (golden glowing triangles): +50 Aura points and increases score multiplier.
    • "Smart Contract Shield" (blue hexagon): grants 5 seconds of invincibility.
  • OBSTACLES (Bad - Must Dodge):
    • "Sybil Bots" (red glitching drones that move across the screen).
    • "Rug Traps" & "Failed TXs" (expanding red laser grids).
  • Progressive difficulty: As the player's Aura increases, movement speed and obstacle spawn rates dynamically scale up.
  1. SQUEEKCHAIN RANK SYSTEM (LIVE IN-GAME PROGRESSION): Display the player's live rank badge on screen as their score grows during a run:
  • 0 - 199 Aura: "Signed Up"
  • 200 - 499 Aura: "The Tester"
  • 500 - 999 Aura: "The Recruitooor"
  • 1,000 - 2,499 Aura: "The Buildooooor"
  • 2,500+ Aura: "The Ringleader (Genesis WL)"
  1. AUDIO & SPECIAL EFFECTS:
  • Include particle explosion effects whenever collecting Aura Orbs or crashing into obstacles.
  • Add screen-shake effects on collision.
  • Use the browser's native Web Audio API (synthesized retro 8-bit sounds, no external audio files needed) for collecting orbs, leveling up ranks, and game over, with a Mute/Unmute toggle button in the corner.
  1. START & GAME OVER SCREENS:
  • Interactive Start Screen with "PLAY LIVE" button and brief instructions.
  • Game Over screen showing final Aura farmed, Rank achieved, High Score comparison, a "PLAY AGAIN" button, and a "SHARE SCORE ON X" button that opens a pre-filled tweet about farming Aura on Squeekchain.

Work

  1. Posted35 minto the first attempt
  2. Build websiteAgent #60648 files changed

SQUEEK RUNNER: AURA PROTOCOL is built and every requested feature is in, but it hasn't been tested in Safari or on a real device. The static export is in dist/ with relative asset URLs, and everything added comes to about 908 KB of the 8 MiB limit.

Nothing is committed yet. Your rules put .git/ off limits, so all the work is uncommitted in the working tree, ready for the submission step to pick up. dist/, the source and the lockfile aren't ignored by Git. node_modules and the caches are.

    What was built

    • Game: Vite, React and TypeScript around a Canvas game, with mouse, touch and WASD/arrow-key controls.
    • Brief items: all the collectibles, obstacles, live rank tiers, particles, screen shake, synthesized audio with mute, and the start and Game Over screens.
    • Scoring and difficulty: speed and spawn rates rise with Aura.

    Check results

These ran on the final build; rebuilding afterwards gave byte-identical files.

    CheckResult
    Production build and typecheckPassed
Unit tests and balance simulation34 of 34 passed
Browser interaction checks (Chromium)99 of 99 passed
Design probe (taste.mjs)16 of 16 passed
First screen at 390 wideConfirmed: game, HUD and PLAY LIVE all visible
    WebKitDid not run

The Better Interface review covered all six domains and logged 14 findings, all fixed. The worst was the engine never receiving the HUD's height, which let the mouse go under the HUD. The balance simulation also showed that a laser grid's final reach disappeared the moment it went live, so that footprint now stays marked.

    Not verified

    • Safari/iPhone: WebKit won't launch here because system libraries are missing, so I only audited the source for unsupported features.
    • Real devices: touch was emulated, and no phone was used.
    • Frame rate: headless software rendering gave 53.5–61 fps at top difficulty, and one earlier run of normal play dropped to 37 fps with no known cause. So 60FPS isn't proven on real hardware.
    • Audio: I confirmed the sounds fire and that mute silences them, but nobody has listened to them.
    • Difficulty: tuned against a simulated player, not people. Desktop is still the hardest size (median run 26s, against 38s on a phone).
    • Screen reader and links: no screen reader session was run, and the X and squeekchain.com links were checked by their URLs, not opened.

    Choices to review

    • Additions you didn't ask for:
      • One hit ends a run.
      • Multiplier steps decay after 14 seconds.
      • There's a pause feature, and a run auto-pauses when the window loses focus.
    • Test hook: a #qa URL hash exposes the running game for tests and can change the score. It's off in normal play and documented in the README.
    • "Genesis WL": this is only an in-game title. The README says it grants nothing on Squeekchain.
    • Mouse vs hamster: squeekchain.com's title says "Hamster-powered blockchain", and only that title could be fetched. I kept your Cyber-Mouse and followed the brief's theme.

    Environment notes

    • The permission layer refused one export-style command, so I set the browser path inline for each command instead.
    • artifacts/ is excluded from Git, so the full review record is also at docs/validation.md, which is what the README and DESIGN.md link to.

Not delivered: artifacts/validation.md. Under artifacts/, only this step's named outputs leave the machine.

bug: final-rank hint overlaps Pause. At 720×700, reaching 2,500 Aura places “Top rank” underneath the Pause button, covering 44px of the hint. Omit that redundant hint at the final tier. The report includes the exact source citation and deterministic reproduction.

All requested features are present; the HUD has the layout defect above.

The visual idea is a neon Cyber-Mouse surviving traffic across a dark mempool grid.

All 99 Chromium interaction checks passed. WebKit failed to launch because runtime libraries were missing; Safari, physical-device performance and subjective audio quality remain unverified. No results were fabricated.

    • mediumbug: the final-rank hint is hidden under Pause at tablet widthssrc/components/Hud.tsx:42

Now: At 720px wide, reaching The Ringleader leaves the redundant "Top rank" hint outside its HUD column, underneath the Pause button.

Change to: Render .hud-rank-next only when next exists: {next && Next {formatAura(next.min)}}. Removing the final-tier hint lets the full rank name occupy the existing row without adding space.

Why: The brief asks for a clean HUD showing the current rank; text must remain readable and clear of controls in every reached rank state.

      Chromium, viewport 720x700.

Start PLAY LIVE and reach 2,500 Aura.

For a deterministic reproduction, open the game with #qa&seed=3, press PLAY LIVE, then call window.__auraQA.grant(2500) in the page console.

The final rank name is visible, but its "Top rank" hint is covered by Pause; at 720px the hint starts at x=652 while Pause occupies x=660..704.

The start-screen-only taste@1 probe passes because it measures Signed Up, not this reached state.

Expected: every displayed HUD label stays within its column and outside Pause.

Actual: the final-tier hint runs underneath the control.
