Final polish of the live BLACKOUT site (repo identity-md-launches/launch-1263-build-pre-launch-website-blackout, current live version). Keep the hero, live stats, terminal feed, leaderboard and hardware cards, and keep every contract call and route working. Goal: premium, juicy, crystal clear about earnings, zero visible bugs.

  1. REMOVE
  • Every free/starter pack UI: the floating "FREE STARTER PACK" button, hero "Claim free pack", the starter section on Packs, the separate free-pack page and links to it. We no longer give free packs. The contracts stay; the site just stops offering it.
  • All token launch info: the "Launch sequence" section, launch tax schedule, "packs open one hour after launch" texts and related FAQ entries.
  • The FAQ entry about demo progress and the 8-tile "Coming soon" grid (replace it with one slim "On the roadmap" strip).
  1. EARNINGS, CLEAR AT A GLANCE (top priority)
  • Connected users get a sticky "Mining HUD" under the top bar on every page:
    • my hashrate;
    • my share of the city;
    • tokens per epoch now;
    • ≈ per day in tokens, ETH and USD;
    • claimable now;
    • live countdown to the next epoch. Numbers tick and count up live.
  • Rewards page rebuilt around the player:
    • Big "Claimable" card with a Claim button. Withdraw tax shown before the click, and how it drops over time.
    • "Earned so far": total mined, total claimed, per-epoch history bars for the last 20 epochs.
    • "Projected rewards" chart forward 1 day / 7 days / 30 days for my current farm. It must use the real on-chain formula (mining = available x emission, minus tariff, split by hashrate share) with emission decay and the current farm count, as a band (pessimistic / current / optimistic farm growth). Label it clearly as an estimate.
    • "Pack payback": at the current pack price and average pack hash, how many days a new pack takes to pay for itself.
    • For visitors without a wallet: the same page with a calculator ("enter hashrate -> estimated tokens per epoch/day") from live numbers, plus last epoch payout and per-farm average.
  • Show "+X / epoch" next to every item and room on the Farm page so players see what each piece earns.
  1. PACK OPENING (addictive), PLUS BULK OPENING
  • Idle pack: big (at least 240px), 3D tilt (cursor or gyroscope), holographic foil sheen, breathing glow, sparks.
  • After the buy tx: pack flies to center, page dims, CRT flicker. While waiting for entropy/resolve, no spinner: "The city is rolling the dice" with a block countdown, and the pack trembles harder as resolution nears.
  • Rip: tap or hold to rip. Light cracks leak in the color of the best rarity, only once the on-chain result is known. Burst: white flash, chromatic aberration, pixel particle explosion, screen shake scaled by the best rarity.
  • Cards fan out face down and flip one by one on tap, or "Flip all". Use the card flip feel of the earlier demo site (blackout-mine-the-city-pray-the.sites.imd.fun): a real 3D flip with the back design, rarity frame and glow on the face.
    • Common: soft pop.
    • Rare: cyan ring pulse.
    • Epic: magenta lightning plus a short slow-mo.
    • Legendary: gold god-rays, coin rain, bass hit.
    • Mythic: full-screen rainbow glitch and a "MYTHIC" title card.
  • Each card shows the sprite, name, rarity, hash counting up and "+X / epoch", with a "Place in room" button.
  • Bulk opening: "Open all (N)" for every unopened pack the player owns.
    • Batch the on-chain steps where the contracts allow; otherwise queue them with one clear progress bar.
    • Then show all cards in a grid that flips in a cascade, rarest last for suspense.
    • Summary: total hash added, best pull highlighted, "Place all" into valid slots, "Scrap commons" shortcut, "Open more".
  • Sound toggle (off by default), mobile haptics, prefers-reduced-motion fallback, 60fps on mid phones.
  1. FARM
  • Rooms as a pixel cross-section of a building floor at night. Items as sprites: fans spin, LEDs blink, power glow while mining, sparks on events.
  • Drag and drop on desktop; tap item then tap slot on mobile.
  • Invalid slots grey out with the reason shown before the click (level gate, same kind in room, room locked).
  • Inventory grid with a capacity bar (15/15).
  • Without a wallet: a read-only live view of the #1 farm ("Peek at the top farm") with "Connect your farm" as the CTA.
  1. FIXES FOUND ON THE LIVE SITE
  • The terminal feed shows only one item per reveal. Show all 3 items as rarity-colored chips with sprites; Epic+ rows glow when they appear.
  • The Packs Buy button looks disabled without a wallet. Keep it bright yellow and open connect on click. "Pay with BLACKOUT" is a clear secondary button.
  • The leaderboard shows full 42-char addresses. Shorten them (0x887b…A88C), add a district color badge, a preview of the best items, and medals for the top 3.
  • About 29 failed RPC requests (HTTP 400/403) per visit. Drop failing endpoints, chunk eth_getLogs to provider limits, back off on errors, zero console errors in production.
  1. ERROR HANDLING (covered by tests)
  • Decode every custom error into a human message with a fix button. Never show raw "InvalidValue" or "execution reverted".
  • Inventory full: block unplace, open and claims up front with "Inventory full (15/15). Scrap an item or expand", plus Scrap and Expand buttons with costs.
  • Hide reveal for packs already resolved; always reconcile pack state from chain.
  • Show rarity level gates (Epic 3, Legendary 5, Mythic 10) on cards and in the slot picker.
  • Reads race the RPCs with a 4s timeout each; writes go through the wallet; simulate every write with eth_call first.
  1. GLOBAL JUICE
  • Living hero layer: window flicker, transformer sparks, drifting smog, rare lightning.
  • Every changing number counts; epoch countdown ticks every second; stat tiles get a subtle animated border and sparklines where data exists.
  • Buttons get hover glow and a pressed pixel offset; page transitions fade and slide.
  1. ACCEPTANCE
  • Mobile first, no horizontal scroll at 375px, Lighthouse mobile 80+, zero console errors on a normal visit.
  • No mention of free packs or launch taxes anywhere on the site.
  • PR includes screenshots of every page at 375px and 1440px, plus recordings of single and bulk pack opening for each rarity using a dev-only mock mode that is never enabled in production.

    SeverityFinding
Highbug: reveal history invents a Common GPU for destroyed hardware. Read historical item metadata; never interpret a deleted record as a real pull.
Mediumbug: the projection band treats the player's own hash as competing-farm growth. Calculate growth from competing farms only.
Mediumbug: dragging hardware does not mark invalid room slots before the drop. Update destination restrictions during dragging.
Mediumaccessibility: epoch-history bars are too narrow and crowded to select on phones. Measured approximately 11.35px wide with 4px gaps.
Mediumfidelity: the public epoch countdown omits seconds for most of each epoch. Reuse the existing seconds-visible HUD formatter.

Chromium covered all 12 routes at 375, 390 and 1440px. Lighthouse scored 79 initially, 81 on rerun, both with an incomplete-load warning. One upstream RPC CORS failure produced console errors during navigation. WebKit could not be independently rerun; supplied WebKit evidence remains unverified. Wallet interactions used controlled fixtures, without real transactions.

The checklist below treats “missing” as an unmet portion of the quoted requirement.

    • highbug: reveal history invents a Common GPU for destroyed hardwareweb/src/community.ts:57

Now: Reveal rows recover original pulls by reading FarmItems.data(id) at the latest block and keeping only kind/rarity. FarmItems.destroy deletes that record, and data(id) subsequently succeeds with a zeroed struct. The renderer interprets its zero kind/rarity as a real Common GPU, caches it and can downgrade the row's best rarity. The InvalidValue catch never handles this contract behavior.

Change to: Recover kind/rarity at the reveal transaction's block and cache that immutable historical result. If historical data cannot be read, check the zero holder and explicitly show unavailable hardware details rather than inventing a Common GPU.

Why: The brief requires all three actual revealed items with correct rarity-colored chips and Epic+ emphasis. Showing fabricated hardware as an on-chain pull fails that requirement.

At 375×844 or 1440×900, open the landing page in a fresh browser context after an item from a displayed paid-pack reveal has been destroyed by scrap or enhancement.

The pinned FarmItems source at 77c962e6 defines data(id) as return item[id], and destroy(id) executes delete item[id].

Reproduced in Chromium against the production export with a PackOpened(id=1,count=1) receipt containing three mint IDs: current data is Rare ASIC, Common Fan, and the all-zero destroyed record (the third item was previously a Mythic Router).

The terminal renders chips ['ASIC / Rare','Fan / Common','GPU / Common'] and labels the row Rare.

Expected: the original Mythic Router and Mythic row, or an explicit unavailable detail if historical state cannot be retrieved.

No zero-holder check or blockNumber is present in this read; reopening with a cold cache reproduces the fabricated third chip without any wallet transaction.

    • mediumaccessibility: epoch-history bars are too narrow and crowded to select on phonesweb/src/polish.css:9

Now: The last-20-epochs chart makes each bar a button in twenty equal columns, with only a 4px gap. On a 375px phone, the populated buttons are about 11.35px wide and their centers are only 15.35px apart.

Change to: Give each selectable epoch a target at least 24px wide, using a horizontally scrollable chart or a separate adequately spaced epoch selector; retain keyboard access and the payout detail.

Why: The chart is the required per-epoch history interaction. Its current hit areas fail the 24px-or-spacing target criterion and make adjacent payouts difficult to select accurately.

At 375×844 in Chromium, use the existing v12 injected wallet fixture, connect, and open #/rewards.

Scroll to Last 20 settled epochs.

      Measure .epoch-bar boundingClientRect: widths 11.359375, 11.34375 and 11.359375px; left edges 296.9375, 312.296875 and 327.640625px.

The 4px gaps put neighboring target centers less than 24px apart.

Expected: each selectable bar is at least 24px wide or satisfies the target spacing exception.

Actual: even the three-epoch state already has three crowded targets; filling all 20 repeats the failure.

    • mediumbug: the projection band treats the player's own hash as competing-farm growthweb/src/earnings.ts:34

Now: project() divides total city hash, including the player's farm, by all active farms, then uses that average to add or remove only competing farms. A large player therefore makes every assumed new competitor much larger than the current competitors; the optimistic curve can even erase all competition while competitors still exist.

Change to: Derive the growth baseline from competing hash and competing farm count, excluding the player's current contribution consistently. Apply the stated percentage growth to that competing baseline, with an explicit zero-competitor case.

Why: The required pessimistic/current/optimistic band says that average hash per other farm stays constant. The current calculation violates that stated assumption and materially distorts earnings estimates.

      At 375px or 1440px on Rewards, reproduce with 2 existing farms totaling 20 H/s and a 1,000 H/s visitor calculation (the projection input becomes raw=1020000n, ownRaw=productive=power=1000000n, activeFarms=3n).

      Use available=1000000*10^18, emission=350, tariff=1500, miningSeconds=21600, locked=0, and select 30 days.

Calling the exported project() with those exact inputs returns pessimistic/current/optimistic totals of 378613.5344676749 / 577548.4564179512 / 588323.380325081 tokens.

Holding the existing competitors' 10 H/s average constant under the displayed +5%/0%/-1% daily growth assumptions gives 566082.5971731704 / 577548.4564179512 / 578892.8834960184.

At optimistic day 3 the implementation clamps competing hash to zero, although -1% daily growth leaves 19.40598 H/s.

This is reproducible with pure arithmetic and requires no wallet signature.

    • mediumbug: dragging hardware does not mark invalid room slots before the dropweb/src/main.ts:504

Now: dragstart changes selectedItem without updating the rendered slot states. Empty slots in a room that already contains the same hardware kind remain enabled and say 'Choose hardware'; dropping there produces an error only afterwards.

Change to: On dragstart, update slot disabled styling and explanatory text in place from placementReason(), preserving the dragged DOM node, and restore the normal slot state on dragend.

Why: The Farm brief explicitly requires invalid slots to grey out with the reason before interaction. Desktop drag-and-drop currently omits the preview that tap-to-select already provides.

At 1440×900 in Chromium, use the v12 injected wallet fixture with rooms 0 and 1 unlocked, item 2 (Power Supply) installed in room 0 slot 0, and unequipped item 1 changed to kind=3 (Power Supply).

Connect, open #/farm, and wait for both unlocked rooms and item 1's Power Supply label.

      Drag [data-drag-item='1'] toward [data-drop-slot='0,1'].

During the drag, dataTransfer contains '1', but the destination remains disabled=false with text '+ / Slot 2 / Choose hardware'.

Drop: the transaction status then says 'One of each type per room', and no placement opens.

Expected before dropping: that destination is visibly invalid and explains the duplicate-kind restriction while room 1 remains available.

    • mediumfidelity: the public epoch countdown omits seconds for most of each epochweb/src/views.ts:19

Now: The public Epoch tile and Farm epoch countdown use duration(), which omits seconds whenever at least one hour remains. The one-second timer rewrites the same hours/minutes text for up to a minute; only the Mining HUD uses a seconds-visible clock.

Change to: Use the existing miningTime() HH:MM:SS formatter for every next-epoch countdown, retaining the existing due/settling state. Keep coarse duration formatting for unrelated long periods.

Why: The brief explicitly requires a live epoch countdown that ticks every second, including the global live stats.

At 390×844, visit #/home without a wallet while the epoch has more than one hour remaining, and observe the live Epoch tile.

The reviewed live page displayed '3h 32m', with no seconds component.

For an exact deterministic reproduction, call the source duration formatter with 7199, 7198 and 7196: all three return '1h 59m'. public-views.ts passes remaining epoch seconds through this helper, and main.ts updates it once per second.

Expected: the seconds component visibly decreases once per second; actual: the display changes only when a whole minute elapses until less than one hour remains.

  4. Build websiteAgent #198871 files changed

Fixed all five findings, rebuilt dist/, and wrote .imd-responses.json.

Build, typecheck, unit tests, and Chromium regressions pass. All 24 live captures recorded zero console/HTTP errors. Bundle: 7.885 MiB, within the limit.

WebKit was unavailable; the existing 812px Packs viewport limitation is documented in artifacts/validation.md.

Medium — bug: committing calculator input removes the next action before it activates

Now: Changing hashrate triggers a complete page replacement during blur. The first subsequent “Connect your farm” or “30 days” click does nothing. Browser Back can also raise an uncaught NotFoundError.

Change to: Update calculator results and the projection in place, preserving the input and action controls. Remove the synchronous full-page render from the [calculator change handler][calculator].

Why: Calculator actions must respond reliably, and ordinary navigation must satisfy the zero-console-errors requirement.

Reproduction: At 375×844 and 1440×844, visit Packs, then Rewards without connecting. Replace calculator value 100 with 1000, then immediately click “Connect your farm.” After 1.5 seconds, the dialog remains closed; the second click opens it. “30 days” similarly remains unselected until the second click. Separately, use browser Back while the edited input remains focused: navigation raises the DOM exception. Committing with Tab first avoids it.

The requirement inventory below combines fresh checks with retained implementation and delivery evidence. “Missing” includes partially working requirements affected by the reproduced bug.

    • mediumbug: committing calculator input removes the next action before it activatesweb/src/main.ts:422

Now: The calculator change handler synchronously calls render(true), replacing all of #main while the edited input loses focus. Clicking Connect your farm or 30 days immediately after changing hashrate removes that control during pointer activation, so the first click does nothing and the second works. Browser Back with the dirty input still focused causes a nested render and an uncaught NotFoundError.

Change to: Update calculatorHash and patch the estimate/projection output in place, keeping the input and action controls mounted; do not synchronously replace #main from this change handler.

Why: The required visitor calculator and 1/7/30-day projection controls must respond on the first action, and normal navigation must meet the brief's zero-console-errors requirement.

Chromium, 375×844 and 1440×844, disconnected production export.

Open #/packs, then #/rewards; wait for calculator numbers, focus #calculator-hash and replace 100 with 1000.

Without first tabbing away, click .earnings-calculator [data-connect].

At both widths, #wallet-dialog.open remains false after 1.5 seconds.

Independent keyboard-typing reproduction at 375px confirms the second click opens it; an unchanged input opens it on the first click.

Repeating with 30 days leaves its aria-pressed=false on the first click and true on the second.

Separately repeat in a fresh context and use browser Back while the edited input is focused: location becomes #/packs, but an uncaught NotFoundError says Failed to set the 'innerHTML' property on 'Element': The node to be removed is no longer a child of this node.

Trusted-event tracing confirms hashchange starts #main replacement, change re-enters it, and the outer route handler aborts.

Reproduced in the live-read visitor sweep and existing v12 provider fixture without signatures or production mocks.

Control: committing with Tab before navigation produces no exception.

Expected: first Connect/period click activates its control and Back completes without a script error.
