      loadTips uses one global cache without including the token or streamer in its key. Changing streamer within the 12-second TTL returns the previous wallet's transfers. The overlay in assets/app.js:433-453 resets its baseline for the new streamer, then marks this unrelated cached feed as its baseline; the next real scan consequently announces the new streamer's old transfers as new tips.

      This is an advisory accuracy defect, not evidence of deliberate financial deception.

      Use token 0x5501e1fa81be1c3f49225fa7668da0245d07db60, streamer A=0x1111111111111111111111111111111111111111, streamer B=0x2222222222222222222222222222222222222222, and sender 0x3333333333333333333333333333333333333333.

      Open #/stage configured for A and wait for its successful scan.

      Within 12 seconds use #/setup to save B, then return to #/stage.

      Expected: establish the baseline from B's history and announce only subsequent transfers.

      Actual: the initial B scan returns A's cached transfers without querying B; after 12 seconds the next scan announces B's historical transfer as +5.00 SQK.

      Confirmed by executing the actual application and modules with these RPC fixtures, invoking the setup Save handler, navigating back, and advancing the polling clock; no new transfers were introduced.

      overlayUrl omits demo when it is false and sound when it is true. loadSettings falls back to the receiving browser's localStorage for omitted parameters. An OBS browser profile that previously saved demo mode can therefore open a newly generated real-tips URL and still run the synthetic feed. assets/app.js:422-425 returns before installing the real transfer poller whenever this inherited demo flag is true.

      The same omission keeps audio disabled if the receiving profile previously saved sound:false.

      In browser profile A, open #/setup, select Demo feed On and Alert sound Off, and Save settings (equivalently, localStorage.setItem("squeekstage:v1", JSON.stringify({demo:true,sound:false}))).

      In a separate clean profile B, open #/setup, enter streamer 0x2222222222222222222222222222222222222222, select Demo feed Off and Alert sound On, save, and copy the OBS URL.

      Open the copied URL in profile A.

      Expected: real on-chain tips and sound enabled, matching the shared setup.

      Actual: the link contains neither demo=0 nor sound=1, loadSettings returns demo:true and sound:false, and assets/app.js selects the synthetic feed instead of the real-transfer poller.

      Reproduced directly against overlayUrl and loadSettings with these exact persisted and shared settings.

      On a direct visit to the tip route, boot loads the token metadata only once. If /v1/economy/state fails on that attempt, app.token.address stays empty. tipView only schedules refreshTips, which immediately returns while the token is empty (lines 605-609); it never retries loadSnapshot or updateNotice. Even after the API recovers, a connected viewer cannot send a tip without reloading or navigating through a route that polls the API.

      The public share URL lands directly on this affected route.

      Use a wallet connected to Sepolia and open /?streamer=0x2222222222222222222222222222222222222222#/tip.

      Make the first https://api.squeekchain.com/v1/economy/state request fail (for example with browser request blocking); allow the other snapshot requests.

      Once the page says "Token address not loaded yet", unblock the economy endpoint and stay on the tip page for at least 30 seconds.

      Expected: a later poll loads the SQK token, refreshes the balance, and enables Send tip.

      Actual: no subsequent economy request is made, the notice never changes, and Send tip remains disabled.

      Reproduced by running the actual application and imported modules with a temporary initial fetch failure, then allowing success and executing twelve registered 15-second polling callbacks; the economy request count remained one.
