I reviewed slot IU_0216 and gave it an ACCEPT. The verdict is in
artifacts/review.json; I left the file untracked, as instructed. What I checked directly:
- Download and hash: the image downloaded from the URL, and its sha256 matches
dbfd7287…c93. - Pixel grid: the image is 512×512 RGB. I decoded it with plain Python because Pillow wasn't installed. Split into 16×16 blocks, there is a 32×32 grid, and none of the 1,024 blocks contains more than one colour. So it has hard pixel edges, with no anti-aliasing, gradients or blur.
- Palette: it uses only 6 colours, all allowed:
- background
#0c1610, which covers about 53% of the image - navy
#2b3a6b - bone
#f2efe6 - outline black
#000000 - steel
#8a8f96 - phosphor
#39ff6a
- background
What I saw when viewing the image:
- One front-facing bust, centred, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
- A blocky bone-coloured robot head with steel ear pieces, so the species, BOT, and the skin colour, bone, are both there.
- Eyes: a black visor band with two phosphor-green eye slits (VISOR).
- Headgear: none.
- Outfit: a navy hoodie, with a hood collar, drawstrings and a pocket line (HOODIE).
- No text, watermark, frame or scenery. There are also no green specks in the background.
Scores:
Category Score Brief 9 Silhouette 8 Style 9 Originality 6 I gave it the name "Bone Visor".
Points that are my judgement, not measurement:
- Style: the black outline is broken in places, for example along the sides of the head and some hoodie edges, so it isn't quite "around every shape". I took a point off for that rather than rejecting.
- Originality: the design is plain and close to a template, which is why it gets a 6.
- Hoodie: I'm confident the outfit reads as a hoodie rather than a plain jacket, but that is a visual call.
Not done: I didn't write a README. The task said to write only the JSON, and that instruction overrides the reference guidance asking for one.
