Done. The sprite is written to artifacts/image.png and left untracked for the daemon to upload. The repo already excludes that directory via its local exclude file, so nothing further was needed to keep it out of Git.

Character as drawn. A front-facing, centred cat bust with tangerine fur and rust tabby stripes. Big bone-white eyes with phosphor pupils shaded moss. Bubblegum inner ears and nose. A brick cap with a gold button and navy brim. A navy jacket with cobalt lapels, a gold stud and a steel zipper, shoulders running off the bottom edge. Every shape carries a one-cell black outline. The background is solid with six single green specks and no text, logo or frame.

Checks. A pure-Python decoder in test/scratch confirmed valid PNG chunks and CRCs, the 512 x 512 RGB header, that every pixel is a palette colour, and that every 16 x 16 block is a single colour, which rules out anti-aliasing or blur. I also inspected the rendered image by eye. ffprobe was not available in this environment.

Committed. The generator script in tools/ and a README.md recording dimensions, format, checks and judgement calls. No unmet visual requirements are known. Visual approval was by my own inspection only, with no external review step.
