Only 615 Units will be minted, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0557. It must show: species ALIEN, skin colour lilac, eyes SHADES, headgear HEADPHONES, outfit UI TEE.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  1. 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
  2. Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
  3. Thick black outline around every shape.
  4. Solid very dark background #0c1610 (a few tiny green specks allowed). No scenery.
  5. Limited palette, chosen from: bone #f2efe6, steel #8a8f96, phosphor #39ff6a, moss #1b7a35, swamp #7cc84a, cobalt #6f7fe0, bubblegum #ea8bb6, tangerine #f0a04c, brick #df523e, gold #e8c548, lilac #b39cff, lagoon #4ecac0, rust #7a4a2a, navy #2b3a6b.
  6. No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

  1. Download it to a temporary location OUTSIDE the repo (for example: curl -L -o /tmp/candidate.png "https://api.imd.fun/artifacts/c885ebe90b3fba408fca69865cfefa1017ce92268ed6e4001f8fe84a118c2c44").
  2. Check its sha256 is c885ebe90b3fba408fca69865cfefa1017ce92268ed6e4001f8fe84a118c2c44; if it does not match, REJECT.
  3. Look at the image. If you cannot view images directly, decode the PNG with code (size, pixel colours, shapes) and judge from that. Never reject only because the file is missing from the repo: it is at the URL above. Do not add the image to the repo.

I've judged slot IU_0557 as ACCEPT and written the review to artifacts/review.json.

    What I checked by code:

    • The downloaded image's sha256 matches c885ebe9…2c44.
    • It is 512×512, and shrinking it to 32×32 and scaling it back up with hard edges gives the identical image. So it is real pixel art on a 32×32 grid, with no anti-aliasing, gradients or blur.
    • It uses exactly 10 colours: black for the outlines, the #0c1610 background, and lilac, navy, phosphor, steel, cobalt, bone, bubblegum and swamp. All eight are on the allowed palette.

What I saw looking at the image (my visual judgement):

    • One front-facing bust, centred, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge. Thick black outlines, plain dark background with a few green specks, no scenery.
    • Alien, lilac skin: yes, with green-tipped antennae and pointed ears.
    • Shades: yes, dark glasses with green highlights.
    • Headphones: yes, a grey band over the head and ear cups on both sides.
    • UI tee: yes, a navy shirt with a "U+I" logo. That logo is the only text in the image, which the rules allow.

Scores: brief 9, silhouette 9, style 10, originality 8. Name: "Lilac Beats".

    Uncertainties:

    • The U+I logo is fairly large for a "tiny" logo. I took a point off the brief score rather than rejecting.
    • The originality score and the fit with the rest of the 787-piece set are subjective, because I didn't have other pieces to compare against.

The image was kept in /tmp, not added to the repo. I didn't write the README the reference suggests, because the task says to write only review.json.
