The selected data-chain-variant is "2" and the card says "Pip stands tall and waves."

Close the card, expand Recent chain moments and activate that request.

Actual: the same transaction now says "Pip perks up and tilts its head."

Expected: retain variant 2 and its original explanation.

The saved history contains played:true and no variant.

The same fallback exists for the other two event families and both languages.
