A one-page site for HashNest: the promise (Democratize efficient crypto mining with zero-hassle, profitable returns for all.), who it is for (Retail investors and small businesses seeking passive income through optimized, managed mining hardware.), the products with prices, a buy button per product, and a short FAQ. Products and their buy links: "MiningCalc Pro" ($9.00, buy link https://getnightshift.tech/buy/hashnest/1df8c306-e613-477d-85b3-5cfad6137b9b).

The buy links take payment themselves; link to them, do not add a wallet. Static site, fast, works on a phone.

  2. Build websiteAgent #32826 files changed

Built HashNest with responsive layouts, the $9.00 product and checkout link, and an accessible FAQ. The static export is in dist/, alongside source, lockfile, README, and DESIGN.md.

Production build and typecheck passed, plus 15 interaction checks and all 16 design checks. Safari remains unverified because WebKit was unavailable.

  3. Design criticAgent #180found 3 medium, 1 low

I reviewed the HashNest site and found nothing high. Every requirement the build can deliver is met, the product and its buy button are on the first phone screen, and the design probe passed all 16 checks. There are three medium findings and one low, all in .imd-findings.json. No repository files were changed. One gap: I could only test in Chromium, because WebKit (Safari's engine) won't launch on this machine due to missing system libraries.

    Requirements

    • "one-page site": met, one page linking to its own sections (src/App.tsx).
    • "the promise": met, quoted word for word in #why-hashnest (src/App.tsx:76).
    • "who it is for": met, two audience blocks for individual investors and small businesses (src/App.tsx:80-87).
    • "the products with prices": met, "MiningCalc Pro" and "$9.00" (src/App.tsx:52-53).
    • "a buy button per product": met. .buy-button points to the exact link in the brief (src/App.tsx:4, :56), and the <noscript> fallback has the same link (index.html:23).
    • "link to them, do not add a wallet": met, there's no wallet code and the FAQ says so (src/App.tsx:17).
    • "a short FAQ": met, four <details> items that open on click in Chromium (src/App.tsx:94-101).
    • "Static site, fast, works on a phone": met. It's a Vite static export in dist/ with no external requests, and the page doesn't scroll sideways at 320, 390 or 1440. The FAQ heading typo below is the only phone defect.
    • Hosting: after review.

The idea in one sentence: a calm sage-green shop for one $9 mining tool, carried by the isometric miner illustration and the two-colour headline. It's coherent and nothing competes with it.

    Findings

    1. Medium, bug: below 688px the FAQ heading reads "A few thingsyou might ask." The code hides the line break with no space before it (src/App.tsx:93, src/styles.css:182). Screen readers read the joined word at every width. The fix is A few things{' '}<br />.
    2. Medium, taste (copy): three filler taglines say nothing about the product: the caption under the illustration, the line under the FAQ heading, and the footer line. Delete all three and keep the two section headlines. The benefits strip is the same kind of filler.
    3. Medium, taste (copy): nothing on the page says what MiningCalc Pro is. The product line is "Your next mining decision starts here.", and the FAQ answers "What is MiningCalc Pro?" with its name and price.
      • Replace the hero line with the brief's audience: "Efficient crypto mining for retail investors and small businesses."
      • Delete the product line and the circular FAQ entry.
      • A real one-line description has to come from the requester.
    4. Low, bug: on desktop, the header's "Explore MiningCalc ↗" pill uses the external-link arrow but only scrolls to #product, which is already on screen and already linked from the nav. Delete it.

The probe's screenshots are in test/scratch/taste/shots/, which is cleared before the diff is taken. Playwright was installed outside the repository, in ~/.imd-taste.

    • mediumbug: the FAQ heading reads "A few thingsyou might ask." on phonessrc/App.tsx:93

Now: the heading text is "A few thingsyou might ask." with no space around the , and src/styles.css:182 (.faq h2 br { display: none; }) hides the break below 43rem, so the words run together as "thingsyou". The accessible name (textContent) is "A few thingsyou might ask." at every width, so screen readers read the typo on desktop too.

Change to: put a space before the break: A few things{' '}<br />you might ask. (rebuild dist/).

Why: a typo in a section heading on the phone layout the brief asks for ("works on a phone").

Width 390 (also 320), Chromium, serve dist/ and scroll to #faq. document.querySelector('#faq-title').innerText returns "A few thingsyou might ask." at 320 and 390; textContent is the same at every width. Visible in test/scratch/taste/shots/390-full.png as "A few thingsyou / might ask."

    • mediumtaste: four filler taglines stack around the product (caption, FAQ intro, footer line, benefits strip)src/App.tsx:62

Now: besides the headline "Better mining. Fewer barriers." and "Mining has potential. Let’s open it up.", the page carries "A little clarity goes a long way." under the art (line 62), "Clear answers before your next step." under the FAQ heading (line 93), "More possibility. Less complexity." in the footer (line 107) and the three-item benefits strip "Start with the numbers / Put efficiency first / Make room for everyone" (lines 66-70). None of them states a fact about HashNest or MiningCalc Pro.

Change to: delete the art caption (the illustration closes up to the benefits rule), delete the FAQ intro (the heading sits alone above the list), delete the footer (brand and "Back to top" stay on one row). Keep the two headings.

Why: the bar says cut the stack, not the best line; a fact or noun beats an adjective, and on a page this short every line should say something only this product could say.

Width 390, Chromium, serve dist/ and scroll the page: the caption sits at y≈1660 on the first screenshot (test/scratch/taste/shots/390.png), the FAQ intro and footer line are visible in shots/390-full.png. taste@1 slogans counts the two two-beat headings; the caption, FAQ intro and footer add three more voice lines of the same kind.

    • mediumtaste: nothing on the page says what MiningCalc Pro is; the product line and the FAQ answer are circularsrc/App.tsx:55

Now: the only description of the $9.00 product is "Your next mining decision starts here.", the hero line above it is "A simpler starting point for your crypto mining journey.", and the FAQ "What is MiningCalc Pro?" answers "MiningCalc Pro is the HashNest product available here for $9.00." A visitor asked to pay $9 cannot learn what they are buying.

Change to: replace the hero line (line 48) with the brief's audience, which is true: "Efficient crypto mining for retail investors and small businesses."; delete the product-description on line 55 so the buy button moves up under the name and price; delete the "What is MiningCalc Pro?" entry from questions (lines 7-10) until the requester supplies one line on what MiningCalc Pro does (needs the requester: a product description), then put that line where line 55 was.

Why: when the main action costs money the copy must say plainly what it buys; a line that only restates the price or says "starts here" is filler, and the FAQ should not answer a question with its own wording.

Width 390, Chromium, serve dist/: the first screen (test/scratch/taste/shots/390.png) shows "MiningCalc Pro $9.00" then "Your next mining decision starts here."

Open the first FAQ item: the answer repeats the name and price only.

No other text on the page describes the product (whole page: 156 words, per taste@1 copy-budget).

    • lowbug: header "Explore MiningCalc" shows an external-link arrow in a pill but only scrolls to #productsrc/App.tsx:41

Now: at widths above 58rem the header carries a bordered pill "Explore MiningCalc ↗" whose href is "#product", the same target as the nav link "The product" next to it, and the product card is already on the first screen. The ↗ icon is the one the real checkout button uses, so it promises an off-site link it does not open.

Change to: delete the header-link on line 41 (and the .header-link rules in src/styles.css); the nav keeps "The product" and moves to the right edge as the header's only utility.

Why: the header convention is the name at the left and utilities at the right with no box unless it marks something; an external-link icon on an in-page anchor misleads, and the link duplicates its neighbour.

Width 1440, Chromium, serve dist/: test/scratch/taste/shots/1440.png shows the pill at the top right; click it and the URL becomes #product with the product card already in view, no new page opens.
