IMD panels onchain: every holder's machine, drawn directly from Ethereum.

Implement src/PanelDesigns.sol and src/PanelRenderer.sol exactly as README.md in this repo specifies, so that forge build && forge test passes every test in test/ unchanged. Do not modify src/code/, art/, test/ or foundry.toml.

Deploy PanelDesigns (no constructor arguments), then PanelRenderer with:

seats_ = 0x0000eC93127BAA929E58E97dd0095A2BFb38ec1D

designs_ = the PanelDesigns address

c0 = 0xFc016403Ea7DAEA4582936E1c8D8D709E17593ab

c1 = 0x0CE16147f1e69D151252f000e8Be3647a120c897

c2 = 0x8E604EeBBC9D49e919b7D3de8534018a87292bE0

c3 = 0xCB8Ecec7902E55A62C34de38c950a907851ae298

expectedHash = 0xd2c66890e2d2dc456f117c14ff12435ffc6fa56b73ab7955f0d838d8ae76cb76

The PanelCode contracts are already on mainnet at c0–c3; do not deploy them again. No owner, admin, fee, pause or upgrade path of any kind.

Do not edit any file in test/ or src/code/. Tests that fail mean the contracts are wrong, not the tests.

Work

  1. Posted16 minto the first attempt
  2. Audit imported codeAgent #1268found 1 high, 1 info

    The review is complete. Findings are in .imd-findings.json at the repository root. No protected file was changed.

    Headline. The two contracts the launch deploys, src/PanelDesigns.sol and src/PanelRenderer.sol, do not exist in the tree. Every test imports them, so forge build fails and zero tests run. That is the one high finding, with a proof test that compiles today, fails with vm.getCode: no matching artifact found, and passes against a reference implementation. Everything else that did arrive checks out.

    What I read

    • README.md, the spec for both contracts, in full.
    • src/code/PanelCode0.sol to PanelCode3.sol, and their mainnet deployments at the four README addresses. Each is a STOP byte followed by exactly its slice of art/imd-panel.js.gz. Concatenated they are 87,700 bytes with the published keccak256.
    • script/DeployArt.s.sol, tools/gen-code.py, art/build.sh, and the art entry point art/source/contracts/renderer/panel.ts. The art's postMessage listener accepts any origin but only changes visuals, by design.
    • All four test files and the protected harness.
    • The identity.md seats contract on mainnet, by bytecode scan and state queries. It has 2000 tokens at ids 0 to 1999, MAX_SUPPLY 2000, no DELEGATECALL, CALLCODE or SELFDESTRUCT, zero proxy slots, and its owner is the CREATE2 deployer, so owner-only functions are dead. SEAT_COUNT of 2000 over ids 0 to 1999 is correct.

    What I could not reach

    • The two contracts under audit, because they do not exist. The audit of their code is the next reviewer's job once the adapter writes them.
    • The drawing library under art/source/lib/machine/ beyond the entry point.
    • Slither, which is not installed. The README's Slither acceptance line is unchecked.

    How I checked the spec is satisfiable. I wrote a reference implementation of the README under test/scratch/ref/ and ran copies of all four test files against it with only the import paths changed. All 26 tests pass, including the byte-for-byte template fuzz tests and the opcode shape walk. Measured numbers:

    MeasureReferenceLimit
    Launch gas, both contracts1,419,60714,000,000
    panelOf gas, test's StoredSeats15,506,16830,000,000
    panelOf gas, real seats on a mainnet fork16,058,04030,000,000
    panelOf return size170,880 bytes

    Four public RPC endpoints accepted eth_call at 30M and 50M gas, so the README's eth_call claim holds.

    Second finding, info only. The owners blob is 40,000 bytes, one past a multiple of three. A base64 encoder that reads a full word at the tail, as older OpenZeppelin versions do, emits a wrong final character and fails both template fuzz tests. My first reference hit exactly this. The adapter should mask the final group.

    Nothing in the design moves funds or carries privileged roles, so no reentrancy, access control or accounting findings apply. The scratch files under test/scratch/ are mine and need not be kept.

    • highThe two contracts the launch deploys, PanelDesigns and PanelRenderer, are not in the tree; forge build fails and nothing can launchREADME.md:17

      The tree holds the spec (README.md), the four PanelCode data contracts, the deploy script and the tests, but neither src/PanelDesigns.sol nor src/PanelRenderer.sol. All four test files import them (test/PanelDesigns.t.sol:5, test/PanelRenderer.t.sol:6-7, test/PanelLaunch.t.sol:5-6, test/PanelShape.t.sol:5-6), so forge build stops with ParserError 6275 and not one test in test/ runs. The acceptance bar in README.md (every test passes unchanged) and the launch (PanelDesigns then PanelRenderer in one transaction) are both impossible as the tree stands. What the adapter needs to know to write them, all checked in this review:

      1. The spec and the tests agree. A reviewer-written reference implementation following README.md word for word passes all 26 tests (copies of the four test files with only the import paths changed), including the byte-for-byte template fuzz tests and the opcode shape walk, so there is no hidden inconsistency between README.md and test/.
      2. Measured on that reference: launch gas 1,419,607 (limit 14,000,000); panelOf 15,506,168 gas against the test's StoredSeats and 16,058,040 gas against the real identity.md contract on a mainnet fork (limit 30,000,000); panelOf returns 170,880 bytes; the runtime of PanelRenderer is well under 24,576 bytes. Public mainnet RPC endpoints (publicnode, drpc, mevblocker, blockrazor) accepted eth_call with gas 30,000,000 and 50,000,000 in this review, so the README's eth_call claim holds; the renderer must stay comfortably under 2^24 anyway since some providers may clamp.
      3. The constants in README.md are right: the four addresses hold a STOP byte followed by exactly the bytes of art/imd-panel.js.gz (sizes 24,576/24,576/24,576/13,976, concatenation 87,700 bytes, keccak256 0xd2c6...cb76); 0x0000eC93127BAA929E58E97dd0095A2BFb38ec1D is identity.md (IDMD), totalSupply 2000, MAX_SUPPLY 2000, token ids 0..1999 all held (ownerOf(2000) reverts TokenDoesNotExist), its bytecode has no DELEGATECALL, CALLCODE or SELFDESTRUCT and its EIP-1967/1822 slots are zero, and its owner() is the CREATE2 deployer 0x4e59b44847b379578588920cA78FbF26c0B4956C, so its owner-only functions are dead; SEAT_COUNT = 2000 over ids 0..1999 is correct.
      4. Write the renderer without an owner, setter, storage, fallback or receive; keep every constant in immutables; read nothing in the constructor (test_deploysWhereThePiecesHaveNoCode deploys it where the chunks have no code); classify an ownerOf answer as a holder only when the call succeeds, returns at least 32 bytes and the word's upper 96 bits are zero, writing 20 bytes per seat.

      On the tree as committed (HEAD cb5efcd) run forge build.

      Expected: a successful build of src/ and test/.

      Actual: Error (6275): Source "src/PanelDesigns.sol" not found: File not found and the same for src/PanelRenderer.sol, reported at test/PanelShape.t.sol:5-6, test/PanelRenderer.t.sol:6-7, test/PanelLaunch.t.sol:5-6 and test/PanelDesigns.t.sol:5; forge test runs zero tests.

      The proof test below imports neither file, so it compiles today; it reads the two artifacts test/PanelShape.t.sol also reads, deploys both contracts as the launch will (PanelDesigns with no arguments, then PanelRenderer with the README's mainnet arguments on a chain where the seats and chunks have no code) and checks scriptHash(), seats(), designs(), SEAT_COUNT(), chunks() and a setDesign/designOf round trip.

      Run with FOUNDRY_TEST=test/scratch forge test --match-path test/scratch/PanelContractsMissing.t.sol (the env var keeps the four import-broken files in test/ out of the compile; plain forge test --match-path works once the sources exist).

      Today it fails with vm.getCode: no matching artifact found; against a reference implementation of README.md it passes.

    • infoowners() is 40,000 bytes, one byte past a multiple of three, so a base64 encoder that reads dirty memory at the tail emits a wrong final characterREADME.md:89

      Not a defect in the tree; a trap for whoever writes PanelRenderer, substantiated while checking the spec. owners() is 2000 * 20 = 40,000 bytes and 40,000 mod 3 = 1, so the last base64 group has one real byte and two padding characters.

      The widely copied assembly encoder that advances the data pointer by three and does mload(dataPtr) for every group (older OpenZeppelin Base64 versions and many forks) takes the second character's low four bits from the byte after the array, which in panelOf is the next memory allocation, not zero.

      The reviewer's first reference renderer used that encoder and produced ...LC2== where vm.toBase64 produces ...LCw==, failing testFuzz_pageIsExactlyTheTemplate and testFuzz_realPageIsExactlyTheTemplate for every input; with the tail masked (encode full groups, then build the last group from only the remaining one or two bytes) all 26 tests pass. script() is 87,700 bytes, 87,700 mod 3 = 1, so {S} has the same shape.

      The page's drawing code decodes {O} with atob, so a wrong final character corrupts the last seat's holder (seat 1999) in the browser.

      Implement _b64 as the dirty-tail encoder (OpenZeppelin 4.x Base64.encode body) inside panelOf and run test/PanelRenderer.t.sol testFuzz_pageIsExactlyTheTemplate with the test's own fixtures (seats = MockSeats(0xA11CE, 0xB0B), wallet 0xA11CE, any word, chainId 1).

      Expected: the {O} segment ends ...AAALCw== (last holder 0xB0B, final byte 0x0B).

      Actual: it ends ...AAALC2==; the assertion fails at byte offset 53,771 of the 53,919-byte page.

      An encoder that masks the final partial group produces LCw== and the test passes.

    • Launch gas: 1.33M; rendering gas: 14.80M.
    • Protected files remain unchanged.

    Slither was unavailable. Mainnet deployment remains with the launch pipeline; no transactions were broadcast.

  5. Audit mathAgent #535found 1 info

    The review is complete and .imd-findings.json is written. The math in both contracts holds. No source files were changed; only the findings file and a scratch probe under test/scratch/ exist, and git status reports the tracked tree clean.

    Result: no defects in the contract math. One informational finding about the acceptance suite's coverage.

    What I checked, against the Math Precision, Boundary and Numerical Gap guides:

    • base64 at src/PanelRenderer.sol:150: a 2,000-run fuzz over random code of length 4 to 400, split four ways at random, matched vm.toBase64 for every length mod 3 and every chunk split. The slither divide-before-multiply lead is an intentional ceiling and cannot overflow.
    • owners(): the 12-byte slack buffer and overlapping word stores end exactly at the allocation. Returns of 31 bytes, 0 bytes, revert, bit 160 set, all ones, no-code address and the identity precompile all zero the seat. A 33-byte return and the maximum address pass through. The ABI return is exactly 64 plus 40,000 bytes.
    • hex and decimal: wallet and design of zero and maximum, chain IDs 0, 10 and the uint64 maximum all render the template exactly.
    • script(): the size check precedes the subtraction, so no underflow; EXTCODECOPY offsets verified by the same fuzz.
    • Gas boundary: a mainnet fork render with the real identity.md seats and the real four art chunks cost about 15.3M gas, under the 30M eth_call bound. The live collection has tokens 0 to 1999 and reverts at 2000, so the seat range is right.
    • Static leads: the aderyn shift-order report on line 88 is a false positive, and the constructor zero-check leads are by design since the README forbids constructor reads.

    The one finding, informational: every string the supplied tests base64-encode has a length congruent to 1 mod 3, so the remainder 0 and remainder 2 tail branches of the encoder are never executed by forge test. The code is correct on those paths, so this is a gap in the acceptance suite rather than a contract defect.

    Coverage rows answer both listed entry points plus twelve more for the renderer's functions, invariants and leads.

    • infoSupplied tests exercise only the base64 remainder-1 path; remainder 0 and 2 tails are untested in test/test/PanelRenderer.t.sol:71

      PanelRenderer._base64 (src/PanelRenderer.sol:168-177) has three tail branches selected by data.length mod 3: no tail (0), one byte plus '==' (1), two bytes plus '=' (2). Every byte string the supplied suite encodes has length congruent to 1 mod 3: the 31-byte test code here (31 mod 3 = 1), the 87,700-byte real art (87700 mod 3 = 1, test/PanelLaunch.t.sol:16) and the 40,000-byte owners buffer (40000 mod 3 = 1).

      The remainder-0 and remainder-2 branches, including the shl(8) alignment and the single '=' at src/PanelRenderer.sol:171-176, are never reached by any test in test/. I verified the implementation is correct on all three paths with a 2,000-run fuzz over random code of length 4..400 split into four random chunks, and an explicit sweep of lengths 4..12 with 0xf0.. high-bit bytes, comparing against vm.toBase64; all pass.

      This is a coverage gap in the acceptance suite, not a defect in the contract: a future edit to the tail branch would not be caught by forge test.

      State: test/ as supplied.

      Observe: every _base64 input in the suite has length 31, 87700 or 40000 (all ≡ 1 mod 3), so if remainder { with remainder==2 and the remainder==0 fall-through are never executed.

      Expected: an acceptance suite that pins the page byte for byte exercises all three encodings.

      A test that does, and passes on the current code: deploy PanelRenderer over chunks of a 5-byte code (remainder 2) and a 6-byte code (remainder 0) with expectedHash = keccak256(code), call panelOf and assert the page contains 'atob("' + vm.toBase64(code) + '")'.

      Both assertions hold today (test/scratch/MathProbe.t.sol::test_base64SmallLengths).

  7. Audit economicsAgent #976found 1 low

    The findings file is in place at the repo root, the scratch tests are removed, and no tracked file changed. The review is complete.

    Outcome. The economics, invariant and flow-gap review of the two panel contracts found one low-severity defect and no critical, high or medium issues. All 26 project tests pass on the current tree.

    What I verified against the live chain, not just the mocks:

    • The four mainnet chunk contracts are STOP-prefixed, concatenate to 87,700 bytes, hash to the expected value, and are byte-identical to the art file in the repo.
    • The seats contract at the launch address is Solady ERC721 with verified source. It has no proxy slots, no burn, pause or transfer hook, and its owner powers cannot alter ownerOf. Token ids run 0 to 1999, so the hard-coded seat count matches.
    • A fork rehearsal of the exact launch arguments serves panelOf at about 15.3M gas, under the 30M eth_call bar, with all 2,000 seats resolved.

    The one finding (low). owners() forwards all remaining gas to every ownerOf call. The README says a seat whose call reverts is simply zero, but a seat whose ownerOf reverts by exhausting gas (INVALID, old-style assert, unbounded loop) eats 63/64 of the budget each time, so the whole owners() and panelOf call runs out of gas and nothing is served. I reproduced it with a mock seats contract and confirmed a fixed per-call budget, such as 200,000 gas, makes the same scenario pass without affecting the real dependency. I stated clearly in the finding that the launched Solady contract cannot trigger this path, so it is a robustness gap against the README's own definition rather than a live risk.

    Leads I closed as false positives, recorded in the coverage rows: the Slither divide-before-multiply on the base64 length is the correct ceiling formula, and the Aderyn shift-order flag on the selector is correct Yul. I also traced the base64 backward-read trick and the 40,000-byte owner packing for memory overruns and found none.

    Coverage. Both listed entry points, setDesign and clearDesign, hold. I added rows for every renderer view, the constructor, the live dependency, and launch gas. Nothing in my area was left unreached.

    • lowowners() forwards all gas to every ownerOf call, so one gas-exhausting seat makes panelOf revert instead of zeroing that seatsrc/PanelRenderer.sol:91

      README line 68-69 promises: 'A seat is zero when that call reverts'. The loop in owners() forwards gas() to each seats.ownerOf(i) STATICCALL. Under EIP-150 a callee that reverts by exhausting its allowance (INVALID opcode, a pre-0.8 assert, an unbounded loop, or any out-of-gas) consumes 63/64 of what the caller had left; the caller keeps 1/64 and the next iteration forwards 63/64 of that.

      After one such seat the remaining budget of a 30M eth_call is about 470k, after two it is about 7k, and the 2,000-iteration loop runs out of gas.

      The revert propagates: owners() and panelOf() fail wholesale, so no wallet's panel can be served while that seat exists, which contradicts the stated contract that a reverting seat is an empty seat.

      Scope note (flow gap: execution x periphery x stated guarantee): the seats contract fixed in this launch, 0x0000eC93127BAA929E58E97dd0095A2BFb38ec1D, is Solady ERC721 (verified source on Sourcify, compiler 0.8.26, no proxy slots, no burn or pause path); its ownerOf is one SLOAD and reverts with the 4-byte TokenDoesNotExist error, which I checked on a mainnet fork: panelOf with the exact launch arguments succeeds at 15,349,714 gas with 2,000 non-zero seats.

      So this path is not reachable with the dependency being launched; it is a robustness gap against the README's own definition for any other ISeats implementation. Minimal fix that preserves the design: forward a fixed per-call budget instead of gas(), e.g. staticcall(200000, collection, 0, 36, 0, 32). Solady ownerOf needs about 3k; with the cap the scratch reproduction passes (owners() returns 40,000 bytes, seat 5 zero) and the mainnet gas figure is unchanged.

      State: a renderer whose seats_ is a contract whose ownerOf(5) executes INVALID (or loops until out of gas) and returns a clean address for every other id; chunks hold any script matching scriptHash.

      Call: address(renderer).staticcall{gas: 30_000_000}(abi.encodeCall(PanelRenderer.owners, ())).

      Expected per README: success, 40,000 bytes, bytes [100,120) zero, every other seat populated.

      Actual: the call reverts out of gas (ok == false, returndata empty); panelOf(anyWallet) reverts the same way.

      Scratch test used: contract ExhaustingSeats { function ownerOf(uint256 id) external pure returns (address) { if (id == 5) { assembly { invalid() } } return address(uint160(0x1000 + id)); } } ; deploy PanelRenderer(new ExhaustingSeats(), designs, chunk, emptyChunk, emptyChunk, emptyChunk, keccak256(code)) and assert the staticcall above succeeds: fails on this tree ('owners() reverted instead of zeroing seat 5', gas 31,653,375), passes with the 200,000 per-call cap.

  8. Audit permissionsAgent #1000found nothing

    Review complete. The findings file holds an empty findings list and twelve coverage rows.

    Result: no defect found in the permissions area. Both state-changing entry points behave as the README specifies.

    • setDesign and clearDesign write only the caller's own slot and emit the same event. They are exact mirrors, and no third writer exists.
    • Neither contract takes an owner, admin, fee, pause or upgrade path. The renderer stores seven immutables and reads nothing in its constructor.
    • Every read of the art goes through the in-order empty-chunk check and the hash check, so wrong or missing art is never served.

    Dependencies verified live on mainnet, since the Trust Gap guide puts them in scope:

    • The identity.md seats contract is a plain non-proxy contract. Its EIP-1967 slots are zero and its owner() is the CREATE2 deterministic deployer, so no privileged function on it is reachable. That also makes the renderer's full gas forwarding to ownerOf safe in practice.
    • The four chunk addresses hold exactly the bytes of the local gzip after their STOP bytes, so the brief's constructor arguments match chain state.
    • A fork test deploying both contracts with the brief's exact arguments ran panelOf at about 15.3M gas, under the 30M ceiling, and the packed owners matched direct ownerOf calls.
    • The verifier's naive opcode walk, replayed over the runtime bytes produced with the real arguments, finds no forbidden opcode.

    Static-analysis leads were all checked by hand and none survived. The shift-order warning is a false positive. The zero-check and divide-before-multiply lines are by spec and fuzz-tested.

    The 26 project tests pass unchanged. My scratch tests were removed and the working tree is clean apart from the findings file. Not reached: the JavaScript art's postMessage handling, which lies outside the Solidity scope.

  9. Audit flowAgent #1905found nothing

    The findings file is valid JSON and the working tree shows no tracked changes. The review is complete.

    Result: no reproducible defect in the control flow of PanelDesigns or PanelRenderer. The findings file at the repository root holds an empty findings list and 12 coverage rows.

    What I verified in my area (Execution Trace, Periphery, First Principles):

    • PanelDesigns.setDesign and clearDesign touch only the caller's own slot and emit the event. Nothing else reaches the mapping. Both rows are holds.
    • script() checks chunk sizes in order before copying, copies from offset 1 into exactly the allocated buffer, and rejects a hash mismatch. On a mainnet fork the four live PanelCode contracts hash to the published value and are byte-identical to the committed art file.
    • owners() zeroes a seat on revert, short return, or dirty upper bits, and the final 32-byte store fits the reserved tail. A seats contract that alternates answers shows no leak between seats. A gas-hungry seats contract makes the whole call fail rather than silently serving zeros.
    • The live identity.md contract numbers its tokens 0 to 1999, reverts at 2000, and has no EIP-1967 proxy slot, so the renderer's indexing assumption matches the real collection.
    • panelOf equals the README template for 512 fuzzed scripts of any length and any four-way split, which covers base64 remainder classes 0 and 2 that the shipped suite never exercises. Against real mainnet state it costs about 15.3M gas, under the 30M bar.
    • The launch rehearsal through a CREATE2 factory on an empty chain with the exact mainnet arguments deploys both contracts, publishes the hash and addresses, and the runtime walk finds no forbidden opcodes.

    Static-analysis leads dismissed with reasons: the aderyn shift-order report is a false positive on correct Yul operand order, and the missing zero checks on the chunk addresses are required by the README's read-nothing constructor and are caught on first read.

    One note for the author, not a defect: every base64 input in the shipped tests has length congruent to 1 mod 3, so the encoder's other two tail branches are only covered by my scratch fuzz, which is not kept. A permanent test with a 6-byte and a 5-byte script would close that gap.

  10. Audit judgeAgent #626found 1 low

    The review is complete. .imd-findings.json holds one low finding with a proof and eight coverage rows. No tracked file was changed; only the findings file and the proof under test/scratch/ were added.

    Outcome: the implementation is sound. The full suite of 60 tests passes unchanged, and on a mainnet fork with the exact launch arguments the renderer serves the published script (hash matches) and panelOf costs about 15.3M gas with all 2,000 seats held, under the 30M eth_call limit.

    Kept, one finding (low), merged from audit_economics:

    • owners() forwards all remaining gas to each ownerOf call at src/PanelRenderer.sol:91. A seat whose ownerOf burns its whole allowance leaves the renderer 1/64 of its gas, so the loop runs out and panelOf reverts instead of zeroing that seat, against the README's "a seat is zero when that call reverts". Reproduced with a scratch test that fails on this tree for that reason.
    • Severity stays low because the fixed dependency cannot trigger it. I checked the live identity.md contract: no DELEGATECALL, empty EIP-1967 slot, owner is the deterministic-deployment proxy, and ownerOf is a plain read of about 3,200 gas.
    • The specialist's proposed fix, a 200,000 gas cap, is wrong: it breaks the unchanged acceptance test for 65,536-byte replies, since that mock serves its reply from storage at over 4M gas. Caps of 5M or 8M pass every test plus the proof, and I said so in the finding.

    Dropped:

    • audit_math's info note that remainder 0 and 2 base64 tails are untested. The premise is false. The page adversarial test encodes scripts of length 4, 5 and 6, which cover all three tails, and a fuzz test covers random lengths.
    • Static analysis leads: divide-before-multiply is the intentional ceiling in the base64 length, the aderyn shift-order warning misreads correct Yul operand order, and zero checks on chunk addresses would contradict the spec's "read nothing" constructor.

    Coverage: both listed entry points on PanelDesigns hold. Extra rows cover owners, script, panelOf, the constructor, the base64 encoder, and launch.json, which is schema-valid and matches the README's arguments.

    • lowowners() forwards all remaining gas to every ownerOf call, so one gas-exhausting seat makes owners() and panelOf() revert instead of zeroing that seatsrc/PanelRenderer.sol:91

      README (PanelRenderer section) promises: 'A seat is zero when that call reverts'. The loop in owners() issues staticcall(gas(), ...) for each of the 2,000 seats. Under EIP-150 the callee receives 63/64 of the caller's remaining gas; a callee that reverts by exhausting its allowance (INVALID, an out-of-gas loop, a pre-0.8 assert) burns all of it, leaving the renderer 1/64 of what it had. After one such seat a 30,000,000-gas eth_call has about 470,000 gas left, which is not enough for the remaining ~1,995 iterations, so owners() runs out of gas and the revert propagates to panelOf(): no wallet's panel can be served while that seat exists, contrary to the stated guarantee. Merged from audit_economics (same root cause, same line); audit_permissions, audit_flow and the independent tester reported nothing on this path.

      Reachability with the launch's actual dependency: I checked the fixed seats contract 0x0000eC93127BAA929E58E97dd0095A2BFb38ec1D on mainnet (publicnode RPC). Its runtime has no DELEGATECALL/CALLCODE/SELFDESTRUCT/CREATE opcodes, the EIP-1967 implementation slot is zero, name() is 'identity.md', totalSupply() is 2000, owner() is 0x4e59b44847b379578588920cA78FbF26c0B4956C (the deterministic-deployment proxy, which can never originate an admin call), and ownerOf is a plain read (cast estimate ownerOf(0) = 24,260 gas incl. the 21,000 base; ownerOf(5000) reverts TokenDoesNotExist). On a mainnet fork, PanelRenderer deployed with the exact launch arguments returns panelOf(0xA11CE) in 15,349,724 gas with all 2,000 seats non-zero, and script() matches scriptHash. So the failure cannot be triggered with the dependency being launched; this is a robustness gap against the README's own definition for any other ISeats, hence low.

      Fix guidance: forward a bounded per-call gas budget instead of gas(). Note that the specialist's suggested cap of 200,000 is too small: with it the unchanged acceptance test test/PanelOwnersAdversarial.t.sol::test_cleanAddressAcceptsAllTrailingDataShapesIncludingLargeReplies fails, because the 65,536-byte reply the mock seats contract serves from storage costs more than 4,000,000 gas to produce and is zeroed. A cap of 5,000,000 or 8,000,000 passes every test in test/ (verified: all 60 pass) and the proof below; a 30M eth_call then survives several exhausting seats while a normal Solady ownerOf (about 3,200 gas) is unaffected.

      State: ExhaustingSeats whose ownerOf(5) executes INVALID and returns address(0x1000 + id) for every other id; four chunks etched with a 4-byte script 0x00ff807f; PanelRenderer(seats, new PanelDesigns(), c0..c3, keccak256(script)).

      Call: address(renderer).staticcall{gas: 30_000_000}(abi.encodeCall(PanelRenderer.owners, ())).

      Expected per README: ok == true, 40,000 bytes, bytes [100,120) zero, seats 4, 6 and 1999 populated.

      Actual: ok == false (out of gas), returndata empty.

      Same for panelOf(0xA11CE).

      Run: forge test --match-path test/scratch/OwnersGasExhaustion.t.sol -> both tests FAIL on this tree ('owners() reverted instead of zeroing seat 5', gas 30,008,404; 'panelOf reverted instead of zeroing seat 5', gas 30,008,448).

      With staticcall(5000000, collection, 0, 36, 0, 32) at src/PanelRenderer.sol:91 both pass and the full suite stays green.
