- "Use the mermaid in this attachment as the main guideline in terms of mermaid style and colors": met. The attached red-haired mermaid is bundled unchanged as the hero and story image, and the coral and turquoise tokens come from it. One medium fidelity finding: the older gallery of blue mermaids still competes with it.
- "Add a 'watermap' section": met, the Watermap section in
src/App.tsxat line 202, linked from the header, hero and FAQ. - "All creator fees will be used create LinD/Lindy LP as well as LinD/Sol LP": met, step 01.
- "They will be setup to autocompounding on Meteora so as the ecosystem grows so does the LP": met, step 02.
- "Once the token is liquid enough we will direct fees towards bonding new launches on Lindy": met, step 03, kept conditional with no invented threshold.
The idea: a one-page landing for the LinD coin carried by one red-haired mermaid in turquoise water, with the coin's address and launch link beside her.
Findings, most severe first (all in
.imd-findings.jsonwith width, steps and evidence):- Medium, fidelity. The "Find your blue." gallery and its download still show the previous brief's six blue mermaids, a different style and palette from the attached guideline. Fix proposed: delete that section and its nav entry, retarget the story link to the Find section.
- Low, bug. The hero loads the 2.9 MB reference PNG at full size with high fetch priority. Fix: a WebP copy for the hero, story and preload, PNG kept for the share image.
- Low, taste. Two links on the first 390 screen both go to the Watermap. Fix: delete the "There's more beneath the surface" scroll link.
- Low, copy. Watermap step 01 names both pairs in the sentence and again in the pair row. Replacement sentence given.
- Low, copy. The story section stacks five fragments under its headline, plus two footer taglines. Replacement sentence given.
- Low, taste. The square 1254 px share image is declared for a 1.91:1 large card, which crops the mermaid's head and tail. Fix: switch to the summary card or add a 1200 by 630 crop.
Not verified: WebKit could not launch on this machine because system libraries are missing, so the Safari pass did not run. The stylesheet uses nothing WebKit lacks that I could find; the only newer features are text-wrap balance and pretty, which degrade to normal wrapping. The Chromium walkthrough at 390 and 1440 was clean: menu, copy failure state, pause control and FAQ all behave, with no console errors and no layout shift.

bug: the first-screen hero loads the 2.9 MB reference PNG at full size with high fetch prioritysrc/App.tsx:263
Run
ls -l public/art/mermaid-reference.pngfrom the repository root: 2880142 bytes.Open dist/index.html at 390 wide with the network panel open: the first request after the CSS and JS is art/mermaid-reference.png at 2.9 MB, requested with priority High because of the preload and fetchPriority attribute.
At 390 the image box is 390x480 CSS px (hero-art crop), so a 1254 px PNG is over three times the needed pixel width and about eight times the bytes a WebP of the same size would carry.
taste: two controls on the first 390 screen both go to the Watermapsrc/App.tsx:296
Now: the hero has the text link "Read the Watermap" (line 288, y=507-561 at 390) and, 211 px lower in the hero-bottom bar, the link "There's more beneath the surface" (lines 296-300, y=772-816 at 390). Both have href="#watermap" and both are on the first screen at 390 x 844, so the visitor is offered the same destination twice with two different labels.
Change to: delete the scroll-link anchor (lines 296-300); the hero-bottom keeps the "Pause ocean" button, which stays right-aligned by its existing flex rule, and the hero's min-height is unchanged so nothing else moves.
Why: the bar's rule on repeats; one clear path to the Watermap from the hero is the "Read the Watermap" text link next to the primary action.
Open dist/index.html at 390 x 844.
Measured with getBoundingClientRect in Chromium: a.text-link[href='#watermap'] at y=507-561, a.scroll-link[href='#watermap'] at y=772-816, both within the 844 px first screen.
Clicking either scrolls to the same #watermap section (scrollY=800).
copy: Watermap step 1 names the two pairs in the sentence and then again in a pair rowsrc/App.tsx:222
Now: step 1 reads "All creator fees will be used to create LinD/Lindy and LinD/SOL liquidity pools (LPs)." and immediately below it the watermap-pairs row shows "LinD / Lindy + LinD / SOL", so the pair names appear twice within 40 px, and the row looks like two tappable chips but is static.
Change to: keep the row and let it carry the names once: change the paragraph (lines 219-220) to "All creator fees will be used to create two liquidity pools (LPs):" so the sentence hands off to the row; or delete the div (lines 222-226) and the sentence stands alone, in which case step 2 moves up by the row's height.
Why: the bar's rule against the same line shown twice; the requester's wording ("create LinD/Lindy LP as well as LinD/Sol LP") is still stated in full either way.
Open dist/index.html at 390 wide and scroll to #watermap step 01.
Expected: each pair named once.
Actual: test/scratch/taste/shots/390-full.png shows the paragraph ending "LinD/Lindy and LinD/SOL liquidity pools (LPs)." followed directly by the row "LinD / Lindy + LinD / SOL" in the water colour; same at 1440 in 1440-full.png under column 01.
copy: the story section stacks four slogan lines under one headlinesrc/App.tsx:348
Open dist/index.html at 390 wide and scroll to #story.
Count the sentence fragments under the headline: "Somewhere between the sea and your imagination, there's LinD." / "Fiery red hair, a seahorse's curl and an ocean of blue." / "We're bringing a little ocean magic to Solana." / "Come on in." / "The water's lovely."
Five fragments, four of them under four words or slogans, visible in test/scratch/taste/shots/390-full.png between the story image and the "Meet the underwater world" link.
taste: the share card is a 1:1 image declared for a 1.91:1 large cardindex.html:25
Now: og:image is the square 1254x1254 reference PNG (index.html:17, with og:image:width and og:image:height both 1254) while twitter:card asks for summary_large_image, which X, Discord and Telegram crop to about 1.91:1 from the centre. A centre crop of a 1254 square to 1254x656 keeps only rows 299-955, so the top of the mermaid's hair and crown and the lower tail are cut, and the card shows mostly torso.
Change to: either set twitter:card to "summary", which renders the square image whole as a thumbnail beside the title, or add a 1200x630 crop of the reference (public/art/share.png, framed on the face and the diamond) and point og:image, og:image:width and og:image:height at it. The PNG itself stays untouched.
Why: the bar requires a share card that unfurls well; the card is the first thing most visitors see when the link is posted.
Read index.html lines 17-24: og:image ./art/mermaid-reference.png, og:image:width 1254, og:image:height 1254, twitter:card summary_large_image.
file public/art/mermaid-reference.pngreports 1254 x 1254. Any large-card renderer at 1.91:1 shows the middle 52% of the image height.
