  2. Build websiteAgent #111644 files changed

Implemented Squeekside with a responsive HUD, stream view, settings, and complete dist/ export.

Build, typecheck, 13 tests, interaction checks, and static asset checks passed. Submission size: 1.71 MB.

Sepolia/SqueekCore reads work. Wheel telemetry was blocked by Cloudflare/CORS, so the HUD clearly shows settled data instead. The visual probe couldn’t launch Chromium; browser measurements and limitations are recorded in artifacts/validation.md.

Installation and rebuild instructions are in README.md; design documentation is in DESIGN.md.

    • “A stream companion HUD” — met: stream view and monitor panels in src/App.tsx.
    • “tracks live Sepolia blocks” — met: loadChain in src/data.ts; verified live head and block history.
    • “SqueekCore round state” — met: round panel displays configuration, settlement state, and clock estimate.
    • “active hamster wheel mining progress on Squeekchain” — needs requester: confirm the intended deployment and compatible telemetry. The public API identity differed from the deployment pinned in src/data.ts; the app correctly rejected it.

The visual idea is a quiet instrument panel carried by the mint hamster-wheel schematic.

Saved four verified findings: three medium, one low in .imd-findings.json:

    • Transparency leaves the root background opaque.
    • The keyboard skip link exits stream view.
    • At 200% text size, telemetry makes the 390px page 478px wide.
    • Empty-state copy claims settled progress is shown before data exists.

Chromium review covered 320, 390, and 1440px, dialogs, and controlled telemetry states. WebKit was unavailable; the original probe lacked Playwright. Source citations and JSON were validated. No website files changed.

    • mediumbug: the transparent stream background remains opaquesrc/App.tsx:416

Now: The transparency checkbox clears the body and app backgrounds, but :root retains the opaque page background.

Change to: Toggle the existing transparent-page class on document.documentElement as well as document.body, removing it from both in the effect cleanup; retain the opaque panel and toolbar rules.

Why: The existing Transparent page background control must expose the video underneath an OBS browser source rather than leave an opaque full-page rectangle.

At 1440 × 900 in Chromium, open the monitor, select Open stream view, then check Transparent page background.

      The checkbox is checked and the computed body/app backgrounds are rgba(0, 0, 0, 0), but getComputedStyle(document.documentElement).backgroundColor remains rgb(12, 16, 21).

The page gutters remain dark instead of transparent.

The root background is declared in src/styles.css:18 and the transparent-page rule at :1188 only applies to the body receiving the class.

    • mediumaccessibility: the skip link exits stream viewsrc/App.tsx:409

Now: The Skip to monitor link changes the fragment to #main, and the hash-change handler treats that as an instruction to exit stream view.

Change to: Prevent the skip link’s default fragment navigation and focus the existing #main element with main.focus() and main.scrollIntoView(), preserving the current #stream or #monitor route.

Why: Keyboard navigation to the main landmark must preserve the visitor’s selected view and stream controls.

At 1440 × 900 in Chromium, select Open stream view.

Confirm location.hash is #stream, .app has stream-layout, and Network activity is absent.

Focus the first link, Skip to monitor (Tab from the start of the page), and press Enter.

Focus reaches #main, but the fragment becomes #main, .app loses stream-layout, Network activity appears, and the Copy stream URL/fullscreen controls disappear.

Expected: focus moves to the main landmark while #stream and its controls remain active.

    • mediumaccessibility: enlarged telemetry pushes the work reading off the phone screensrc/styles.css:596

Now: The three metric tracks retain their intrinsic minimum widths, and the mobile value rows explicitly forbid wrapping. Fresh numeric readings overflow the wheel panel at 200% text size.

Change to: Set .wheel-stats to grid-template-columns: repeat(auto-fit, minmax(min(100%, 6rem), 1fr)) and change the mobile .wheel-stats strong override to flex-wrap: wrap, allowing fewer columns as text grows.

Why: Enlarged text must preserve the complete work amount and its unit without forcing horizontal scrolling.

At 390 × 844 in Chromium, provide a controlled successful /v1/core identity for the pinned address and a schema-1 /v1/status response with fresh online measurement rpmMilli=65000, distanceMm=3455808, and builder.queued.openRoundWorkUnits="308" (the existing test fixture values).

Set document.documentElement.style.fontSize="32px" to enlarge the 16px-root text to 200%, then scroll to Wheel speed.

Actual: document.documentElement.scrollWidth is 478px for a 390px viewport; the three metric cells end at x=182, 331, and 478, so Open round work and its amount/unit extend past the right edge.

The pinned collector reports the third metric as an overflow offender, and the screenshot confirms the clipped phone view.

Applying the proposed CSS only in the browser reduces scrollWidth to 390px with no measured text overlap or clipping.

This is text enlargement, not native browser zoom.

    • lowbug: the empty wheel state claims settled progress is shownsrc/App.tsx:726

Now: When both sources fail before their first successful read, the footer claims Settled progress shown even though the block number and percentage are unknown.

Change to: Gate this copy on core: retain Telemetry unavailable. Settled progress shown. when core exists; otherwise show Wheel and settlement data unavailable. Check data settings.

Why: A dashboard’s empty and failure states must describe only data the app actually has.

At 390 × 844 in Chromium, start with a fresh page, block requests to ethereum-sepolia-rpc.publicnode.com and api.squeekchain.com, and let the initial reads fail (or wait for the 18-second timeout).

Scroll to the wheel panel footer.

      Actual text is Telemetry unavailable.

Settled progress shown., while the same panel reads Waiting for SqueekCore, its block number and percentage are dashes, and its progressbar has aria-valuetext="Unavailable" with no aria-valuenow.

Expected: state that both wheel and settlement data are unavailable until a SqueekCore read succeeds.
