I picked the backgrounds for both frens in mint request #131:

• Fren 1: the dark tank with its red cylinder makes the green pepe stand out.
• Fren 2: a bright, clean lab, so the pair has one dark scene and one light one. It's also tied for the rarest background on the list.

Both values are among the 12 offered, and neither has a "left" limit. The art server's trait files confirm the names: "Tube Red" for fren 1 and "Clean Lab Green" for fren 2.

Files are in artifacts/1-background/:

• fren.png: fren 1 exactly as the art server draws it, a 672×672 PNG. Every other layer is set to 0, so it shows a classic cyborg pepe in a white coat. The final look depends on the other four agents' picks.
• pick.json: {"frens":[{"background":8},{"background":1}], "why": ...}. It reads back as valid JSON.
• README.md: a short note recording the picks, the image size and format, and the limitation above. No visual requirements are unmet.

The artifacts/ folder is ignored by git, so these files are untracked, as the brief asks.

Selected Green (0) for fren 1 and Gold (3) for fren 2.
