    • Met: “A website showing the top tweets about identity MD” — web/src/posts.json supplies eight linked posts; web/src/feed.ts ranks the disclosed snapshot by likes.
    • Met: “dark green” — palette in web/src/styles.css.
    • Met: “a theme of pepes armed with AI” — web/public/art/pepe-squad.svg shows frogs equipped with AI hardware.

The site is an identity.md reading room carried by a dark-green pond and AI-equipped Pepe crew.

Saved five verified findings: one high, four medium in .imd-findings.json: hidden mobile tweets, skip-link routing, retained navigation scroll, competing slogans, and excess font weights.

Chromium interactions passed apart from the reported navigation defects. WebKit was unavailable. Site files remain unchanged.

    • highfidelity: the first phone screen hides the tweetsweb/src/styles.css:374

Now: At 390 × 844 the opening screen contains navigation, a 278px hero, and filters, but ends at the first author row; neither a tweet excerpt nor its Read on X action is visible.

Change to: At widths up to 520px, remove the hero kicker and redundant Explore the feed button, set .hero min-height to 0 and .hero-content padding to 12px 20px, set .hero h1 margin-block-start to 0 and .hero p margin-block-end to 0. Move the existing Read on X link to the author row in place of the redundant .x-mark, with margin-inline-start: auto. Let the controls and first tweet move up into the recovered space.

Why: This is a website for reading top tweets. The first 390px screen must show the product and its main action, rather than requiring a scroll past its introduction.

Serve the committed dist directory, open / in Chromium at 390 × 844 with scrollY=0, and inspect the first article. .hero spans y=131–409; the article starts at y=729; .post-copy starts at y=840 (no readable title glyphs before the fold), its blockquote spans y=874–950.78, and .read-post spans y=1181.28–1225.28.

Expected: a readable tweet excerpt and its original-post action within y=0–844.

Actual: the opening screenshot shows only the author/date row below the filters.

Confirmed in /tmp/identitymd-review-taste/shots/390.png; measurements from getBoundingClientRect().

A browser-only preview of the specified change brought the first excerpt to y=747.72–824.5 and Read on X to y=653.72–697.72 at the same 390 × 844 viewport; no source files were changed.

    • mediumaccessibility: Skip to content changes the selected page to the feedweb/src/App.tsx:94

Now: The skip link changes the hash to #main, and the hashchange handler treats every hash except #saved and #topics as a request for the feed. Keyboard users lose the Bookmarks or Explore topics view when they bypass navigation; active filters also reset.

Change to: Prevent the skip link’s default hash navigation and call scrollIntoView() and focus() on the existing main element, leaving the route, search, and topic state unchanged.

Why: Skip to content must move focus to the content the visitor selected, without changing the page or discarding their task.

At 390 × 844 in Chromium, open /#saved, press Tab to focus Skip to content, and press Enter.

Before: location.hash is #saved and h1 is Worth another read.

After: location.hash is #main, h1 is Good signal.

Great frens., #feed-title is From around the pond, and five feed articles replace Bookmarks.

Repeat from /#topics: its four topic cards become zero and five feed articles appear.

Focus does reach #main, but the selected content has changed.

Expected: remain on the original route and focus its main content.

    • mediumbug: page navigation preserves the feed’s old scroll positionweb/src/App.tsx:116

Now: Selecting Explore topics from the sticky desktop navigation after reading down the feed renders the new page at its bottom. Its title and first two topic cards are above the viewport; only Protocol and Community remain visible.

Change to: When the selected page changes, scroll the document to the top and move focus to the existing main element with preventScroll enabled after rendering. Apply the same behavior to hash-driven page changes; retain chooseTopic’s deliberate scroll to the feed.

Why: Navigation should present the beginning of the selected page and its available choices. Carrying an unrelated page’s scroll offset hides the content the visitor just requested.

At 1440 × 900 in Chromium, load /, scroll the document to scrollY=1500, then click Explore topics in .main-nav.

The route becomes #topics, but scrollY is 582 (the new document’s maximum: scrollHeight 1482 minus viewport 900), and the new h1 bounding box is y=-412 to -358.25.

The screenshot /tmp/identitymd-review-topics-navigation.png begins with the second row, Protocol and Community; AI agents, Building, and the page title are above the screen.

Expected: the new view starts at scrollY=0 with its title and all four topic choices discoverable.

    • mediumtaste: repeated slogans compete with the reading feedweb/src/App.tsx:159

Now: The desktop feed surrounds its articles with Good signal. Great frens., A little less noise. A little more signal., Independent. Community-minded., A small collection. A bigger conversation., and Small frogs. Big ideas. These are five separate two-beat slogans, excluding the wordmark that the probe also counts.

Change to: Keep Good signal. Great frens. and the AI-equipped Pepe hero illustration. Delete .community-note p, .sidebar-credit, .collection-card > p, and the decorative .pepe-note section. Keep the discovery link, collection numbers, dates, topic controls, and author links. Let the discovery link and collection statistics move up into the removed paragraphs’ space and the rail footer follow the authors with its existing 20px margin.

Why: The reading room needs one recognizable visual idea and one voice line; the checklist limits slogan stacks to three. Repeating the same promise in both sidebars competes with the tweets without adding useful context.

At 1440 × 900, load /, read both sidebars, and scroll to the Small frogs.

      Big ideas. card.

Run taste.mjs against dist: the slogans check fails with “6 two-beat lines”.

Excluding “the pond. an identity.md outpost” as a wordmark leaves five actual slogans, above the maximum of three.

They are rendered by App.tsx lines 159, 161, 169, 202, and 205 and are visible in the 1440px full-page probe screenshot.

Expected: at most three such lines, with the hero carrying the main identity; actual: five dispersed slogans.

    • mediumtaste: six font weights weaken the shared type hierarchyweb/src/styles.css:87

Now: The feed uses six Manrope weights: 400 for prose, 500 for the hero label and quotations, 600 for controls and metadata, 650 for section headings, 700 for post titles and the headline, and 800 for the wordmark. Closely spaced weights such as 600 and 650 add distinctions without distinct reading roles.

Change to: Consolidate to the existing 400, 600, and 700 weights: change the 500 declarations on .hero-pill and .post-copy blockquote to 400, the 650 declarations on h2 and .rail-heading h2 to 600, and .brand > span from 800 to 700. Keep the existing type sizes, family, colors, and headline emphasis.

Why: taste@1 allows at most three weights. A smaller shared weight scale makes headings, controls, and tweet content follow a consistent hierarchy without changing the requested green/Pepe style.

      At 390 × 844 and 1440 × 900, load / and inspect computed fontWeight for .hero p (400), .hero-pill (500), .feed-tab.active (600), #feed-title (650), #hero-title (700), and .brand > span (800).

      The type-faces probe line reports “weights (6): 400, 500, 600, 650, 700, 800”, so it fails the three-weight bar at both widths.

Compare the headline, section title, navigation, and post titles in the probe screenshots; the additional 500/650/800 weights are authored CSS, not a browser fallback.

  4. Build websiteAgent #154224 files changed

Fixed all five findings and rebuilt dist/.

The first mobile screen now shows the tweet excerpt and “Read on X.” Skip navigation preserves state, page changes reset scroll/focus, and slogans/font weights are simplified.

Typecheck, 8 tests, and 46 browser checks passed. Bundle: 2.15 MB.

    Updated design/validation docs and .imd-responses.json.

All five previous findings are fixed. No new defects were substantiated.

    • Met — “A website showing the top tweets about identity MD”: attributed snapshot posts, ranking by likes, and original X links in web/src/posts.json, web/src/feed.ts, and PostCard.
    • Met — “dark green”: forest-green backgrounds and surfaces in web/src/styles.css.
    • Met — “a theme of pepes armed with AI”: three frogs with AI chips, headsets, and computers in web/public/art/pepe-squad.svg.

The site is an identity.md reading room carried by a dark-green pond and AI-equipped Pepe squad.

    Previous findingResolution and measured evidence
fidelity: first phone screen hides tweetsFixed in both browsers at 390 × 844: complete quotation occupies y=747.72–824.50; Read on X occupies y=653.72–697.72.
accessibility: skip link changes the pageFixed: Tab → Enter retains #saved or #topics and focuses main. Active search, topic, and article IDs also remain unchanged.
bug: navigation preserves unrelated scrollFixed at 1440 × 900: selecting Topics from feed scrollY=1500 produces scrollY=0, heading y=170, and main focused. Hash navigation also passes.
taste: repeated slogans compete with feedFixed: reported elements are removed; probe count falls from six to two, including the wordmark.
taste: six font weightsFixed: rendered weights are exactly 400, 600, and 700 at 390px and 1440px.

The two remaining probe flags concern intentional wordmark spacing and repeated topic-count data; neither warrants a finding. The 1200 × 630 share image and required metadata are present.

Thirty browser checks passed across Chromium and WebKit. Source-link activation opens the correct URL; live X availability was not tested.

.imd-findings.json contains {"findings":[]}. Website files remain unchanged.
