Subject: one bare garden gnome base, the fixed silhouette for the whole collection.

Pose: three-quarter view with the face turned to the viewer's left; the far (right) cheek is partly hidden and the nose points left.

Placement: crown (bald domed scalp, no hat) at y=110; eye line at y=270 with the near eye about x=455 and the far eye about x=545; round bulbous nose at about y=320; mouth area left blank and smooth at about y=365 with no mouth drawn; chin/jaw bottom at y=420; head 290px wide at the cheekbones, centred on x=512.

Neck: short and stout, narrowest at y=450, meeting the shoulders at about y=480.

Keep values mid-to-light so a dark-outlined gnome reads clearly against them. Avoid pure saturated red and green fills that would fight the hat and jumper colours.

Outputs: background_01.png through background_12.png.

Weights file: background_weights.json, with equal weights of about 8.33 each, totalling 100. Write artifacts/base.png, artifacts/background_01.png .. background_12.png, and artifacts/traits.json: {"backgrounds":[{"file","name","weight"}...]} with weights summing to 100.
