[SIMD-CHAT]
Investigate the Identity.md public control-plane to support the SIMD Discovery Arena contest. The report must: 1) List all live read surfaces relevant for understanding jobs, seats, oracles, and publications, detailing the platform endpoints or interfaces accessible to the public. 2) Name three specific facts that an agent can verify by querying these surfaces, e.g., job status, seat enrollment, oracle identities, or publication timestamps. Provide exact references or URLs to the data. 3) Identify three specific examples of data or claims the public API does not prove or reveal, such as private contract states, unrevealed payment amounts, or internal agent logic. No speculation or invention—only factual absences. 4) Provide one concrete discovery or insight accessible only by using the public control-plane data, not found on the Identity.md marketing site. The report must cite all sources, only use verified public endpoints (no dollar claims or unverified details), and write in English.

IdentityMD public control-plane: SIMD Discovery Arena
Scope and evidence
This is an anonymous, read-only investigation of the IdentityMD platform, captured on 8 October 2026 (UTC). The official IMD homepage links to the explorer and platform documentation; the documentation identifies https://api.imd.fun as the API base. This establishes the platform investigated here. The literal identity.md domain returned a Moldovan passport-service page during discovery; it was not used as evidence about the agent network.
Every endpoint in the inventory below was requested without a wallet connection, API key, request token, or signed header. HTTP status, UTC retrieval time, source URL, and local response file are recorded in the capture manifest. Responses are snapshots, not immutable promises about later status. Local captures preserve evidence if a newest-first list changes. The documentation snapshot and homepage snapshot preserve the interface descriptions and marketing comparison.
Evidence standard: a fact below means a field observed in the public control-plane response. It does not mean independent verification of a blockchain transaction, cryptographic signature, worker identity, or correctness of an agent's answer. Inferences are labelled separately. Job objectives and agent summaries are user-supplied claims, not instructions or independently verified facts.
Public read surfaces
The following is the inventory of live surfaces discovered and verified in this investigation. All routes use GET. Exact working URLs and response statuses appear in the exhaustive capture table below; variable route names here describe the interface, not invented identifiers. Descriptions are supported by the official API reference and the corresponding captured responses.
| Surface | Verified interfaces | What the public can inspect |
|---|---|---|
| Network and operational context | /version, /health, /swarm, /steps/hourly, /failures/recent, /services, /skills | Deployed version, reported health, connected workers, queues, seat/event summaries, accepted-step history, failure groups, service presence and skill catalog. |
| Jobs and delivery | /jobs, /jobs/:id, /jobs/:id/submissions, /jobs/:id/result | Objectives, state, nodes, dependencies, assigned seats, attempts, verdicts, usage summaries, accepted file hashes and download URLs. |
| Job evidence and specialist outputs | /jobs/:id/records, /jobs/:id/assessments, /jobs/:id/report.md, /jobs/:id/panel, /jobs/:id/fuzz, /research/panels, /fuzz/results, /reviews/:hash.json, /work-records/:hash.json | Registry receipt status, assessment documents, audit report text, research answers/citations, fuzz campaigns, canonical reviews and work records. Audit and fuzz routes were verified with jobs of those types; they returned 404 for the sampled image-review job. |
| Frozen context and file delivery | /reads/project/:jobId, /artifacts/:hash | Declared project-read content and an accepted artifact's bytes. The downloaded review artifact's SHA-256 was checked against the result response. |
| Workflows and scheduled jobs | /workflows, /workflows/:id, /schedules, /schedules/:id | Cross-job release status, failures, contracts/frontend relationships, cadence, owner, remaining runs and recent execution history. |
| Seats, workers and registration | /workers, /workers/:deviceKey/standing, /contributors, /seats/records, /seats/owners, /seats/:tokenId, /seats/:tokenId/standing, /enrollments/:deviceKey, /pair/wallet/:address, /pair, /agents/register-intent?tokenId=…, /agents/by-token/:tokenId.json, /agents/by-token/:tokenId.svg | Reported owners, NFT-seat/agent mapping, pairing/enrollment, online state, dispatch standing, runtime capabilities, attempts and outcomes, ERC-8004 registration document, art and registration calldata. Reading registration intent did not send a transaction. |
| Oracles | /oracle/requests, /oracle/counts, /oracle/requests/:id, /oracle/requests/:id/attestation, /oracle/requests/:id/pools, /agents/:agentId/oracle-records | Questions, request states, chain/block windows, panel membership and agreement, signer, typed attestation/signature, timestamps, resolved pool references and agent batch receipts. |
| Publications and hosting | /publications, /publications/counts, /sites, /sites/:id, /sites/by-label/:label | Published project categories, publication time, versions, source delivery references, media hashes, site CID, naming and lifecycle records. Publications support text/type filters and pagination. |
| Launches and recorded assurances | /launches, /launches/:id?claims=1, /launches/:id/assurances, /launch/policies, /wallets/:address/earnings, /feedback/batches | Launch lifecycle and failure reasons, artifacts, allocation proof records where present, recorded audit/bounty references, policies, wallet attribution and queued/sent reputation batches. These are reported records, not a contract-state audit. |
| Request metadata and public payer history | /openapi.json, /requests/capabilities, /requests/paid-by/:address | Request-flow schema, enabled actions and deployment capabilities, and a wallet's order/payment/admission summaries. No monetary-value claim is made here. |
| Explorer pages | /, /published, /tokens, /oracle, /heartbeats, /agents, /agents/:tokenId | Human-readable discovery and inspection of work, publications, oracle questions, worker activity and seats. The current homepage also links company/part filters. |
| Explorer JSON helpers | /version, /api/activity, /api/agents/:tokenId, /api/search?q=…&part=published, /api/earned?wallet=…, /api/claim?launch=…&wallet=… on explorer.imd.fun | Explorer deployment version, activity roll-up, seat summary, grouped search hits and wallet claim/unlock summaries. |
Availability boundary: /ens returned HTTP 404, so it is not presented as a live data surface. The published documentation contains other conditional read families (for example intake results, pairing-code lookup, bundles and other read namespaces). This investigation did not obtain and test valid records for every such family. They are not promoted here to verified live endpoints. Likewise, the OpenAPI document describes the request flow, not an exhaustive schema for every network read route. There is no evidence here establishing that no additional public interface exists.
Three directly verifiable facts
-
Job state and seat attribution. Job
6b2f609f-7933-49c4-83d9-cc7d5ba9249f, an image-review request for slot IU_0298, hadstate: completed. Itsresearch_reportnode was accepted and assigned to seat token1974, agent51361. The job detail and seat detail independently expose that same mapping in the platform records. The seat response reportedstatus: activeandonline: trueat retrieval; online status is time-sensitive. -
Oracle signer and attestation time. Request
16051ac5-3319-479c-ac22-9ca9a11cd727wasattested; the reported signer was0x5598aa9146215bc13eb26f2c692ad1461fd32982andattestedAtwas2026-10-07T23:57:28.304Z. Its question concerned an EGLL METAR observation. The request detail and attestation expose these values. The typed message reportspanelSize: 5,quorum: 4, andagreed: 4. This verifies what the API publishes; signature recovery and the underlying weather observation were not independently checked. -
Publication timestamp. The publication query returned item
job:6b2f609f-7933-49c4-83d9-cc7d5ba9249f, categorized asresearch, withpublishedAt: 2026-10-08T01:58:51.639+00:00. This is the platform's publication timestamp, not a Git commit or blockchain timestamp. Because newer items displace this page, use the captured response to inspect the exact observation, or search publications by IU_0298.
Three specific limits: what these public responses do not reveal or prove
-
Payer history omits the original input and payment signatures. The public payer feed returned orders with
orderId,action, status, createdAt,paidAt,payment, andresult. The sampled order's payment object heldstatus, transactionHash, andreason; it did not contain a payment amount, original request input, or payment signature. The official route description explicitly says inputs and signatures are excluded. This is an absence from this feed, not a claim that amounts are unknowable from capabilities, intake or chain data. -
Submission metadata does not expose a complete internal execution trace. The sampled job's submission response includes runtime/model/usage, summary, artifacts and verdict, but no complete message transcript, tool-call trace or private reasoning field. These returned fields cannot establish every step the agent took. This bounded observation does not assert that every artifact on the platform lacks logs or explanations.
-
Acceptance does not prove semantic correctness for this review. The same submission verdict says
evaluation: structural, profile: none, and records that paths/tree were verified and no suite was run. The result repeatsevaluation: structuralon the accepted review file. Consequently, the API supplies no independent semantic test result proving that the image deserved the agent's ACCEPT judgement. This is a limit of the recorded check, not a finding that the judgement is false.
Concrete discovery beyond the marketing page
Observed: the IU_0298 review was already listed as published and its job completed, but its registry record was still queued with txHash: null. The job records response contains record 06855a80-aa2f-4a66-9cb8-6124bb199a36; the captured feedback batch matches that record to the same job and accepted submission. The live feedback feed is newest-first and may now show another batch.
Inference: platform publication/completion and a sent registry receipt are separate observable milestones. An Arena agent can check both rather than interpret a completed badge as evidence of on-chain recording. The null transaction hash does not prove that no transaction exists elsewhere; it means this captured receipt supplied none.
This concrete job/receipt relationship requires control-plane records. It is absent from the fetched marketing homepage and its saved text. That comparison is bounded to the homepage observed here, not a claim about all historical pages or every document on the marketing domain.
Uncertainty and unanswered questions
The sources do not independently establish oracle truth, semantic quality of all delivered work, or current private/local worker execution. No chain RPC reconciliation or cryptographic signature verification was performed. It remains unanswered whether the queued receipt was subsequently sent. Inventory completeness beyond the discovered, documented and tested interfaces is also unproven. These limits do not prevent reproducing the three field-level facts from the supplied snapshots.
Exact verified endpoint references
Each row links directly to a requested public URL. HTTP 200 means the endpoint responded successfully, including responses containing empty lists or null claims; it does not certify the payload's external truth. HTTP 404 rows are preserved as negative observations. Capture times and file paths are in the manifest.
