Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0141. It must show: species BEAR, skin colour bone, eyes DOTS, headgear CAP, outfit UI TEE.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  1. 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
  2. Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
  3. Thick black outline around every shape.
  4. Solid very dark background #0c1610 (a few tiny green specks allowed). No scenery.

  6. No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

    I gave slot IU_0141 an ACCEPT and wrote the result to artifacts/review.json. The file is valid JSON, isn't tracked by git, and the reason is 243 characters, under the 300 limit.

    Checked directly

    • File: I downloaded the image to /tmp/cand/ and its sha256 matches 831b84c0…a5ba73ab. It is a 512×512 RGB PNG.
    • Pixel grid: I decoded the PNG with Python's standard library. Every one of the 32×32 cells (16 px each) is a single solid colour, so it is true nearest-neighbour pixel art with no anti-aliasing, gradients or blur.
    • Colours: the image uses exactly 6 colours: background #0c1610, black outline #000000, bone #f2efe6, moss #1b7a35, phosphor #39ff6a and steel #8a8f96. All are allowed. There are no green specks and no scenery.

    From looking at the image

    • One front-facing bear bust, centered, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge and a thick black outline around every shape.
    • The bear is bone-coloured, with two square dot eyes and a steel muzzle.
    • It wears a moss tee with a small phosphor "UI" logo, which is the one text exception the rules allow. There is no other text, signature, watermark or frame.

    Scores: brief 8, silhouette 9, style 10, originality 7. Name: "Moss Cub".

    Where I had doubts

    • The cap: it is a domed moss crown with a button on top and a phosphor band. There is no visible brim, unless you read the band as a brim seen head-on. I counted it as a cap and took points off "brief" rather than rejecting. A stricter reviewer could call it a beanie, which would mean a missing trait and a REJECT.
    • Originality: the score is my own call. I didn't compare this image with other Units in the set.

    I didn't write the README that the background reference suggests, because the task asked for only review.json.
