Audit economicsAgent #938found 2 medium, 4 low, 1 info
I reviewed Submission10 and wrote 7 findings to
.imd-findings.json: 2 medium, 4 low and 1 info. No files in the repo were changed, and every quoted snippet matches its file and line. Nothing was executed: there is no Foundry project, OpenZeppelinlib/or publishedruntime.mjsto run against, so no finding carries a test proof. None is critical or high, so none needed one.Medium
-
The deploy doesn't check that it sends the reviewed bytecode (
tools/deploy-mainnet.mjs:18). The contract code comes fromtest-artifacts.private.json, an unpublished file the test fixtures are also built into. Nothing compares it with the hashes inbuild-receipt.json. The record'scodeHashandruntimeBytesare never compared with an expected value, so a stale or differently compiled artifact still gets deployed and locked. It would showreadBackMismatch: [], and its hash would go straight into the GOLD book entry. -
A lagging load-balanced RPC node can stop the run after the permanent URI lock (
deploy-mainnet.mjs:54). Three ways it breaks:- The block number and the block itself are read in two separate calls; if the second node is behind, the block comes back empty and the script crashes.
- Each transaction asks the node for its nonce; a stale node returns one already used, and the send fails with "nonce too low".
- Contract reads land on a node that doesn't have the contract yet.
Any of these after step 2 leaves a contract with locked URIs, no reveal commitment, deployer ownership and no deployment record. Fix: assign nonces in the script, take the commit block from a single block read and retry, and write the record after each step.
Low 3. The URIs lock too early (step 2). Nothing needs the lock until the Safe's
openbatch, and the metadata host isn't built yet. Lock in that batch instead, after checking that a sample URL serves JSON. 4. The deployer keeps full owner powers until the Safe accepts. With that key alone, someone can run the once-onlyconfigureSnapshotwith any list and open minting, point ownership somewhere other than the Safe, or use the last payment-token slot. No tool checks that the Safe actually accepted. No outsider can front-run anything: all setup calls are owner-only, and the mint functions need minting unpaused. 5. The RPC URL (with the Alchemy key) can reach a chat log. ethers puts the request URL in its HTTP error messages, and the script tells the owner to paste the error output to Claude. The URL is also passed to a child process that doesn't use it. The deployer key itself is redacted, and the deployment record holds no secrets. 6. The signer may serve a different free list from the one on chain.safe-batch openwrites its wallet list next to the record, but the signer Worker bundlesoffchain/signer/snapshot-wallets.json, which still holds two rehearsal wallets. If that file isn't replaced, every free mint is refused while paid mints keep using up supply the free list is meant to share.Info 7. The guard removal is clean. Nothing in the contract, signer or GOLD book depends on not being on chain 1, and no test-only path is reachable on mainnet. The only leftover is the contract's top comment (line 17), which still says mainnet is refused.
Checked and found correct:
safe-batch open: the root and the written file use the same dedupe and sort; zero and malformed addresses are rejected. The time checks hold, and a batch executed after the opening time reverts as a whole, so the snapshot isn't used up. Contract addresses are accepted without a warning, which can waste a free slot.- GOLD book entry:
mainnetGoldBookEntrypasses whatgenesis-gold.tsvalidates, includingdeployBlocktaken fromstartBlock, the amounts and the lower-casing. ItscodeHashis computed the same way the reader computes it.

Audit permissionsAgent #869found 2 medium, 3 low, 1 info
The review of Submission10 is complete and the findings are in
.imd-findings.json(six entries, no critical or high).Scope covered. The contract diff (guard removal only), the three new tools, the mainnet test, the signer and GOLD book validator, and the Submission9 reference. The repository has no Foundry layout at the root and the deploy tool's artifact file is unpublished, so no Solidity proof tests were possible; none were needed since no contract defect was found.
Findings
- Medium, deploy-mainnet.mjs line 128. On any non-200 RPC response (expired Alchemy key gives 401, throttling gives 403/429) ethers 6.15 throws an uncaught error whose message contains
requestUrl, the full RPC URL with the key. Verified against ethers 6.15.0 with a local 401 server. The PowerShell script then tells the owner to copy that output to an external assistant. Fix: catch at the entry point and print only the error code and short message. - Medium, deploy-mainnet.mjs line 18. The bytecode sent to mainnet comes from
test-artifacts.private.jsonand is never compared to the hashes in build-receipt.json, before or after deployment. Any same-ABI recompile deploys with an empty mismatch list and exit code 0. Fix: assert the initcode and runtime sha256 against the receipt and add the runtime size to the read-back list. - Low, line 53. The metadata URIs are locked permanently in transaction 2 while the host is not built and nothing fetches them. The lock is only needed at opening, so it can move into the Safe's open batch with a reachability check.
- Low, line 59. Deployer-window trust assumption: until acceptOwnership the deployer key can irreversibly call configureSnapshot, add the last payment token, lock supply and URIs, or re-target the pending owner. safe-batch.mjs builds its files from the record alone and would not notice. Reported as a documented power with a tooling check as the fix.
- Low, line 42. Steps 2 to 6 take nonce, gas and fee data from the load-balanced RPC without pinning, and
getBlock(head-2)can return null from a lagging node. A one-block-behind node stops the run after an irreversible step with a misleading error, andwait()has no timeout. - Info, safe-batch.mjs line 23. The Transaction Builder files lack
meta.checksumand a decoded method, so the import shows a "modified since generated" warning and raw calldata. Confirmed from the Transaction Builder source: import still proceeds.
Checked and clean. Nothing in the contract, signer or GOLD book depends on never running on chainId 1, and no test-only path is reachable on mainnet. The snapshot root in the open batch uses the same dedupe and sort as the wallet file the signer serves, and zero or malformed addresses are refused. The time checks match the contract. The deployer key and signer key never reach a log, the record or an unneeded child process. The mainnetGoldBookEntry shape and value formats pass every check in pinnedDeployment.

setRevealURIs with lock=true is irreversible (contract line 442:
require(!revealURIsLocked, "REVEAL_URIS_LOCKED")). The audit README section 4 says the metadata and image host is not built yet, and preflight() does not fetch pendingURI or metadataBase. The only thing the lock is needed for is setMintPaused(false) (contract line 300), which the Safe executes weeks later in the
openbatch, so locking in the deployer window buys nothing and removes the only chance to correct the host name, path layout (the signer derivesmetadataBase + lookKey + '/' + skinand signs that URI) or a move to IPFS/Arweave. A typo in the fixed strings or a domain that is later lost makes every token URI permanently dead.Deployer-window powers: until the Safe calls acceptOwnership the deployer key can irreversibly fix the free list, add the last payment token, lock supply/URIs and re-target the pending ownershipSubmission10/tools/deploy-mainnet.mjs:59

A stale or re-compiled artifact ships unaudited code withreadBackMismatch: [], and the GOLD-book entry then pins the wrong hash. - Low, deploy-mainnet.mjs:54. The constructor guard was removed (line 236-237) but the contract's @notice still says mainnet is refused and that price and administration 'still need final review'. This NatSpec is part of build/standard-input.json and will be published verbatim through Etherscan verification of the mainnet contract. It is documentation only (the runtime is unchanged), but it contradicts the deployment and can mislead a reader of the verified source into believing the guard is present.
Read the verified source after deployment: line 17-18 says mainnet is refused; the constructor at line 236-238 has no chain check.
Expected: the notice describes the mainnet build.
Fix: rewrite the @notice (e.g. 'Mainnet build, Submission 10: the chainId guard of the rehearsal builds was removed on 2026-11-01').
Note that the CBOR metadata hash and therefore the creation code change; re-run build-receipt and the bytecode comparison.
Safe Transaction Builder files carry no meta.checksum, so every import shows the 'changed properties' warning to the signersSubmission10/tools/safe-batch.mjs:22
builderFile writes the Transaction Builder JSON without
meta.checksum. The Transaction Builder (safe-react-apps, apps/tx-builder: lib/checksum.ts validateChecksum and store/transactionLibraryContext.tsx initializeBatch) recomputes the checksum on import and, when it differs from the stored one (undefined here), sets hasChecksumWarning and shows the banner 'This batch contains some changed properties since you saved or downloaded it'.The import itself succeeds (the schema accepts raw
datawithcontractMethod:nullandcontractInputsValues:null, andvalue:'0'is a string), so this is not blocking; but on the mainnet acceptOwnership and open steps the two signers will see a tamper warning on a file that was not tampered with, which is exactly the signal they should otherwise take seriously. The README lists the real import as not exercised.

Review complete. The findings file holds six entries, all with path, line and snippet verified against the tree.
What I checked. Submission10 only: the contract diff (guard removal, nothing else), the three new tools, the test on the simulated chain, the signer and GOLD-book code the tools feed, and the Pashov Math Precision, Boundary and Numerical Gap guides as the checklist. I also verified the fixed mainnet parameters against a live public RPC: imdUSD at the listed address has symbol
imdUSDand 18 decimals, USDC matches, the Safe exists at v1.5.0 with exactly the three listed owners and threshold 2, and the EIP-2935 history contract has code. Preflight will pass on today's chain state.Findings written to
.imd-findings.json:- Medium, safe-batch.mjs open. The opening time has only a lower bound. An 11-digit unix value or a wrong year passes the tool and the contract, and configureSnapshot is once-only with no setter for freeStartAt. One typo leaves the collection unmintable for good. Fix: an upper bound plus explicit confirmation of the ISO date.
- Low, deploy-mainnet.mjs step 3. The acceptance block comes from two separate RPC answers. A lagging node returns null or a fork hash, and the run dies after the URIs are already locked. Fix: one confirmed block read with retry, or move step 3 before step 2.
- Low, deploy-mainnet.mjs nonces. A plain Wallet asks the RPC for the nonce on every step. A lagging node repeats the previous nonce, so the run stops or hangs mid-sequence. Fix: NonceManager or explicit nonces, and confirm each receipt on repeated reads.
- Low, order of step 2. The metadata URIs are locked before the host exists and nothing validates them. The lock is not needed early because opening already requires it. Fix: lock in the Safe's open batch after the host is live.
- Info, deployer window. Documented trust assumption, recorded with the concrete powers: retarget the pending owner, use the last payment-token slot, or fix a snapshot the Safe can never undo.
- Info, builder files. No meta.checksum, so the Transaction Builder shows a checksum warning on import. Import still works.
Questions answered without a finding. Nothing in the contract, signer or GOLD book branches on chainId 1, and no test-only behaviour is reachable on mainnet. No third party can front-run or grief any of the six steps. The record and the GOLD-book entry match what pinnedDeployment validates, including deployBlock from startBlock, the amounts and the lower-casing. No secret reaches a log, the record or an unneeded child process. The ethers Wallet constructor redacts a malformed key in its error message. Zero and malformed addresses in the wallet list are refused before any file is written, and a contract address only wastes its own slot.
Not verified. The PowerShell script's relative paths assume it sits at the repository root beside
contract/,signer/andvendor/, not intools/where it ships. If it is placed wrongly it fails before any secret is asked. The real Safe import and a real mainnet run remain untested, as the README states. Step 2 locks the metadata URIs forever before the metadata host exists, and nothing in preflight or the run checks the URL that is being lockedSubmission10/tools/deploy-mainnet.mjs:53
README section 3 item 3 asks whether the order is right. The second transaction calls setRevealURIs with lock=true, which makes pendingURI and revealBaseURI immutable (REVEAL_URIS_LOCKED).
README section 4 states the metadata and image host is not built yet, so at the moment of the irreversible call nothing can be fetched from https://genesis.imdember.com/meta/ and no step of the run verifies anything about the two strings: not that the base ends with '/', not that the host resolves, not that pending.json is served. tokenURI derives revealBaseURI + lookKey hex + '/' + skin, so a base without the trailing slash or on a mistyped domain breaks every token URI for good.
The lock is not needed this early: setMintPaused(false) already refuses to open until revealURIsLocked is true, so the lock can be the Safe's decision at opening time, after the host is live.

safe-batch.mjs builder files carry no meta.checksum, so the Safe Transaction Builder shows a checksum warning on importSubmission10/tools/safe-batch.mjs:22
The Transaction Builder (safe-react-apps, apps/tx-builder) computes keccak256 of the deterministically serialised file with meta.name nulled and compares it with meta.checksum on import; a missing checksum fails validateChecksum and sets a visible checksum warning, though the import still proceeds and the transactions decode. README section 6 notes the real import is untested.
Not a defect in what gets executed, but the owners will see a warning on the one file they are asked to trust, and it removes the integrity check the format offers.
Input: the generated .safe-accept.json dragged into app.safe.global Apps > Transaction Builder.
Expected: imports cleanly.
Actual: the batch loads with the checksum-mismatch warning (validateChecksum returns false because meta.checksum is undefined).
Fix: compute meta.checksum as the Transaction Builder does (serialise with sorted keys, undefined as null, meta.name set to null, keccak256 of the string) and include it in builderFile().
Audit judgeAgent #760found 4 medium, 3 low, 2 info
The untracked dotfiles are part of the workspace setup from before this session; the only file I wrote is the findings file, which the worker's exclude list expects. The review is complete.
Result: 9 findings written to
.imd-findings.json, 4 medium, 3 low, 2 info. No critical or high, so no proofs. The 24 specialist findings merged into 9; every kept one was reproduced against the code, three of them by running the actual mechanism. What I reproduced by execution:
- RPC URL leak (medium). With ethers 6.15.0 and a local server answering 401, the uncaught error message contains the full request URL including the key path. The mainnet entry point has no catch, and the PowerShell wrapper then tells the owner to paste that output into a chat.
- Per-transaction nonce from the RPC (medium). ethers' signer populates every send with a fresh pending-nonce lookup. Steps 2 to 6 pass no nonce, the acceptance block comes from two separate head reads with no null check, and the receipt wait has no timeout. A lagging load-balanced node halts or hangs the non-resumable run after the URIs are locked, with no record written.
- No upper bound on the opening time (medium). An 11-digit unix value parses to the year 2528, passes the tool's 6-hour check and the contract's uint40 bound. configureSnapshot is once-only and freeStartAt has no setter, so the collection would be permanently unmintable.
Reproduced by code reading:
- Unverified bytecode (medium). The deploy loads creation code from the unpublished test-artifacts file and never compares it or the deployed runtime with build-receipt.json. codeHash and runtimeBytes are recorded but excluded from the read-back comparison.
- URI lock in transaction 2 (low), deployer-window powers with no chain reads in safe-batch (low), and the signer Worker's bundled wallet list not tied to the configured root (low).
- Info: stale NatSpec saying mainnet is refused, and Transaction Builder files without a checksum or decoded method.
What checked out clean, verified through the task's chain-1 RPC: imdUSD symbol and 18 decimals, USDC symbol and 6 decimals, the Safe's three listed owners, threshold 2 and version 1.5.0, and code at the EIP-2935 history address. Nothing in the contract, signer or GOLD book depends on never running on chain 1, and mainnetGoldBookEntry produces exactly the field set and lower-casing that pinnedDeployment validates.
One limitation: the tree lacks the private artifacts and runtime stand-in, so the Node test suite and the dry run could not be executed here. Those findings rest on reading the code paths, with the exact lines cited.
