    • “A website showing the top tweets about identity MD” — met: sourced post summaries ranked by captured likes in src/App.tsx and src/data/posts.json.
    • “dark green” — met: forest palette in src/styles.css.
    • “a theme of pepes armed with AI” — met: hero artwork in public/art/ai-pepe.webp.

The visual idea is an IdentityMD reading room carried by Pepe with AI gear against dark green panels.

Two medium findings are recorded in .imd-findings.json:

    1. bug: Search rejects displayed handles and hashtags. At 390×844 in Chromium and WebKit, searching @surfcoderepeat returns zero posts; removing @ returns three. Normalize prefixes and index displayed hashtag forms so visible labels find their posts.
    2. taste: The tablet headline pushes tweets below the viewport. At 800×844, the 56px headline makes the hero 512px tall; the first tweet starts at 898px. Reuse the existing 28px heading token at this breakpoint: the hero becomes 347px tall and the first tweet moves to 733px.

Both browsers passed the remaining tested interactions. No site files were changed.

    • mediumbug: search rejects the handles and hashtags printed on the cardssrc/App.tsx:203

Now: Search compares the literal query against unprefixed handles and space-separated tags, while cards display @surfcoderepeat, #IdentityMD and #AIagents. Entering those visible labels produces an empty result even though matching posts are present.

Change to: Normalize the trimmed query to lowercase and remove an initial @ or # before matching. Include each tag's displayed form with spaces removed in the searchable text as well as its original wording, so both AI agents and AIagents match the same records. Retain the existing category and Saved restrictions.

Why: The search control explicitly offers people and topics; visitors should be able to search the names and topic labels exactly as the feed presents them instead of being told that existing posts do not match.

Chromium and WebKit, 390x844 CSS pixels, 100% zoom: open /, leave All posts selected, click Explore top tweets, and type @surfcoderepeat in Search.

Actual: the count becomes 0 posts and No posts in this corner appears; removing @ shows Adam's three posts.

Clear Search, then enter #AIagents: again 0 posts; entering AI agents shows four cards, whose tag buttons are visibly labeled #AIagents.

AIagents without # also returns 0.

Likewise #IdentityMD gives 0 while IdentityMD shows matching cards.

These exact input/result pairs were reproduced in both engines and the @surfcoderepeat empty state was captured in a screenshot.

    • mediumtaste: the tablet headline expands the hero and pushes tweets out of viewsrc/styles.css:1188

Now: Between 761px and 1000px the hero keeps its 56px desktop headline inside a 55%-wide copy column. At 800px the six-word headline wraps onto four lines, making the hero 512px tall and placing the first tweet below the viewport.

Change to: In the existing max-width: 1000px rule, replace the headline's var(--text-display) with var(--text-title). Keep the lime second line and existing artwork. The headline returns to two lines, the hero closes to its existing 347px minimum, and the feed moves up 165px.

Why: This is a site for reading top IdentityMD tweets; the intermediate-width layout gives the introductory slogan more space than the product. Reusing the existing smaller heading token restores the compact hierarchy already used on phones.

Chromium, 800x844 CSS pixels, 100% zoom: open / with no hash and do not scroll; wait for local fonts.

Measure .hero h1, .hero and the first .tweet-card with getBoundingClientRect().

Actual: headline font-size 56px, width 347.69px and height 235.19px (four lines); hero height 511.97px; first tweet top 898.16px, below the 844px viewport.

At 600px the hero is only 330px tall.

      Applying only .hero h1 { font-size: var(--text-title) } at 800px yields a two-line 58.78px heading, a 347px hero, and first tweet top 733.19px.

Before/after screenshots and measurements were captured outside the repository.
