Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0516. It must show: species BOT, skin colour lagoon, eyes DOTS, headgear NONE, outfit JACKET.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  1. 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
  2. Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
  3. Thick black outline around every shape.
  4. Solid very dark background #0c1610 (a few tiny green specks allowed). No scenery.
  5. Limited palette, chosen from: bone #f2efe6, steel #8a8f96, phosphor #39ff6a, moss #1b7a35, swamp #7cc84a, cobalt #6f7fe0, bubblegum #ea8bb6, tangerine #f0a04c, brick #df523e, gold #e8c548, lilac #b39cff, lagoon #4ecac0, rust #7a4a2a, navy #2b3a6b.
  6. No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

THE IMAGE IS NOT IN YOUR WORKSPACE. It is published at this public URL (use your network access):

  1. Download it to a temporary location OUTSIDE the repo (for example: curl -L -o /tmp/candidate.png "https://api.imd.fun/artifacts/bdf0c62e78db093b5d5e78431d2f60e3b3fbe4c0ab28a3fbd48b038c34e74308").
  2. Check its sha256 is bdf0c62e78db093b5d5e78431d2f60e3b3fbe4c0ab28a3fbd48b038c34e74308; if it does not match, REJECT.
  3. Look at the image. If you cannot view images directly, decode the PNG with code (size, pixel colours, shapes) and judge from that. Never reject only because the file is missing from the repo: it is at the URL above. Do not add the image to the repo.

Verdict for slot IU_0516: ACCEPT. The review is written to artifacts/review.json and left untracked for the daemon to upload.

    Verified facts

    • Download hash matched the required sha256 exactly.
    • The PNG is 512×512 and every 16×16 block is a single colour, so it is a genuine 32×32 nearest-neighbour upscale with no anti-aliasing, gradients, or blur.
    • Only 10 colours are present: the required background, pure black outline, and 8 colours all from the allowed palette (lagoon, bone, steel, cobalt, navy, bubblegum, phosphor, moss).
    • Background specks are five single-pixel green dots, within the allowed exception. No text chunks in the file and no visible text or watermark.
    • One front-facing bust, centered, shoulders running to the bottom edge, with a continuous black outline around every shape.

Trait check (inferred from viewing the image)

    • Species BOT: round head with steel ear-pod modules and a steel neck column reads clearly as a robot.
    • Skin lagoon: the head is the exact lagoon hex.
    • Eyes DOTS: two small black rectangles. These are two pixels wide rather than one, which I judged still consistent with "dots".
    • Headgear NONE: nothing on the head besides a bone highlight.
    • Outfit JACKET: navy jacket with cobalt lapels and pocket lines over a bone shirt.

Originality is the weakest point. The design is well executed but follows a conventional round-head-with-ear-pods template, so it earns a mid score rather than a high one. I named the character "Lagoon Clerk".
