I've created artifacts/image.png: a 512 × 512 PNG of a pink robot bust (IU_0283). I checked the file: it's 8-bit RGB, every 16 × 16 pixel block is one solid colour, and only the colours listed below appear. I also looked at the image itself.

What's in it:

• Grid: the character is drawn on a 32 × 32 pixel grid and scaled up 16×, so pixels stay square and hard-edged.
• Character: a front-facing robot, centred, with bubblegum (#ea8bb6) skin and shoulders running off the bottom edge.
  • Helmet: steel dome with a blue band, cheek guards and a gold antenna bulb.
  • Eyes: glowing green with a small white highlight.
  • Suit: navy, with steel shoulder pads, a blue V collar and a small green status light.
• Outline and background: a thick black outline (one grid pixel, 16 px) around every shape, on a solid #0c1610 background with four tiny green specks. There is no text, frame or scenery.
• Colours: 10 in total: the background, black, and eight from the allowed palette (bone, steel, phosphor, moss, cobalt, bubblegum, gold, navy).

Requirements I couldn't fully meet (also recorded in README.md, along with the size, format and colour list):

• Black outline colour: pure black (#000000) isn't in the allowed palette. I used it only for the outlines, because the brief also asks for a thick black outline.
• Fit with the 787-piece set: I had no other pieces to compare against, so I couldn't check this.
• How it was made: I drew it from a hand-built pixel map in code rather than with the image tool the reference suggests, so the grid and colours would be exact. Whether it looks right still needs a person to judge.

I committed the generator (scripts/generate_image.py, plain Python with no extra packages) and README.md. python3 scripts/generate_image.py recreates the image. The image itself is left untracked as instructed.
