Launch the Sworn registry (symbol SWORN) from this repository on Sepolia as a rehearsal of the mainnet launch, deployed in this order and with no other contracts: Renderer (no constructor arguments), Composer (no constructor arguments), then Registry with constructor arguments curator 0x0919ba50b206c3f31d516de818b1fbc7da21653d, idmd 0x2c3013c90a1bb65573aae9a7c64fafb82697e4e4, imd 0x44a1cd38474fb1748400e7deb5f8d786cce3f89a (Sepolia test IMD), intake 0xa43e6f75ee006411f79ac1c84120606c2330de82 (Intake v2), attester 0x5598aa9146215bc13eb26f2c692ad1461fd32982 (the IMD oracle signer), renderer $contract:Renderer, composer $contract:Composer, burnExecutor 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 (no BurnExecutor on Sepolia: the burn rule is off).

The contracts have no owner roles. Do not change contract logic; report every change the adapt step makes.

  2. Audit imported codeAgent #808found 1 high, 1 medium, 3 low, 1 info

The review is complete and the findings file holds six entries, two with Foundry proofs that fail on the current tree.

Outcome. The contracts are sound as application logic, but the launch as briefed cannot proceed without one change, and the Sepolia rehearsal cannot exercise the oracle path at all.

    Findings written to .imd-findings.json

    • High, with proof. The Registry constructor calls the Curator and the Intake. The protected floor deploys on an empty chain, so the call to the curator address reverts and the launch parks with "application 2 constructor failed". The trace shows the revert at the isSettled() staticcall. Both live Sepolia contracts answer correctly, so only the floor is affected. The fix is to drop the constructor calls and check dependencies on first use.
    • Medium, with proof. On Sepolia every oracle answer is Missed with reason 3. Check 3 compares the attestation's chain, which is the question's chain (1, mainnet facts), against the deployment chain 11155111. The composed body also pins the consumer domain to chain 1 while the registry's digest uses chain 11155111. No onResult can ever succeed in the rehearsal and each paid request loses 0.5 TestIMD.
    • Low. Anyone can call abandon after 14 days, so a third party can discard a late valid answer.
    • Low. The action id and attester are fixed with no rotation path. This follows from the no-owner brief, reported as a trust assumption.
    • Low. The deploy script passes mainnet Curator, IDMD and IMD addresses on Sepolia, which have no code there.
    • Info. Registry runtime is 24,495 bytes, 81 bytes under the EIP-170 limit, so the adapter has almost no room to add code.

Launch-forbidden checks. No pause, freeze, blacklist, seizure, DELEGATECALL, CALLCODE, SELFDESTRUCT, proxy, initializer or post-deployment setter exists. The opcode and size scan passes for all three runtimes. Card minting is the application's purpose, not a token supply.

Coverage. Read in full: Registry, Composer, Renderer, Types, HiveData, TemplateData, all five interfaces, the Deploy script, both protected tests, both skill references, and the Intake v2 reference's request and complete paths. The existing suite passes with 164 tests. Live Sepolia eth_calls confirmed the curator is settled, its five views respond, the Intake quotes 0.5 TestIMD with a 1,000,000 gas callback stipend, and IDMD has code.

Not reached. The owner-check base contract floor/OwnerChecks.sol is not in the tree. The plane's exact behaviour for a Sepolia request naming a chain-1 consumer could not be observed, so the medium finding states both failure routes. The burn executor path is off on Sepolia and was reviewed by reading only. The fork tests were skipped as they need an RPC variable.

    • highRegistry constructor calls the Curator and the Intake, so it reverts on the launch's empty-chain floor and parks the launchsrc/Registry.sol:200

The launch's protected test (Contracts.protected.t.sol) deploys the three applications through the factory on a chain where nothing else exists: no code at the curator, IDMD, IMD or Intake addresses. The Registry constructor makes two live external calls, curator.isSettled() and IIntake(intake_).priceOf(ACTION, imd_).

A high-level call to an address without code reverts, so the Registry's CREATE2 fails and the probe stops with "application 2 constructor failed": the launch parks before anything reaches Sepolia, even though the live Sepolia curator (0x0919ba50...) reports isSettled() == true and the Intake quotes 0.5 TestIMD (both checked by eth_call on Sepolia during this review).

Line 198 (burnExecutor_.code.length == 0 -> ExecutorHasNoCode) has the same effect for the mainnet launch, where the executor is nonzero; on Sepolia it is zero and does not fire. The launch recipe says exactly this: a constructor that calls another contract or requires code at an address reverts on the floor; take the addresses as arguments and check the live contract on first use.

Fix for the adapter: drop the two require calls (and the executor code check) from the constructor; the first _price/_fromPool/hasTrait call already fails loudly against a wrong address, or add an explicit one-time check in the first state-changing call. Note the Registry runtime is 24,495 bytes (81 bytes under EIP-170), so any added code must be offset.

State: chain 11155111, no code at 0x0919ba50b206c3f31d516de818b1fbc7da21653d (curator) or 0xa43e6f75ee006411f79ac1c84120606c2330de82 (intake), as on the protected floor.

      Call: new Registry(0x0919ba50..., 0x2c3013c9..., 0x44a1cd38..., 0xa43e6f75..., 0x5598aa91..., , , 0x0).

Expected: the registry deploys and the floor's checks run.

Actual: the staticcall to 0x0919ba50...::isSettled() reverts with 'call to non-contract address' and the whole deployment reverts (forge trace: [Revert] call to non-contract address 0x0919ba50b206C3F31D516De818b1fBc7dA21653D).

    • mediumOn Sepolia every oracle answer is Missed (reason 3): check 3 compares the question's chain (1) with block.chainid (11155111), and the body pins the consumer domain to chain 1src/Registry.sol:540

Every question the Composer produces is about Ethereum mainnet: the body carries "chainId": 1 and the text says 'on Ethereum mainnet', and the pinned windows are mainnet blocks (0x189378e..0x18984a4). The protocol defines Attestation.chainId as the chain the question is about, not the consumer's chain (oracle-consumer REFERENCE.md: 'The chain the question is about ...

Not necessarily the consumer's chain, which is in the domain instead'), so the attestation for any registry question carries chainId = 1. _check returns reason 3 whenever a.chainId != block.chainid; on the Sepolia rehearsal block.chainid is 11155111, so every delivered answer is Missed(requestId, traitId, 3) after the 0.5 TestIMD was spent and the pending pair cleared.

Independently, Composer.encodeBody (src/Composer.sol:555) writes "consumer": {"chainId": 1, "verifyingContract": <registry>} regardless of the deployment chain; INTEGRATION.md section 4 says the plane takes the signing domain from that field, while attestationDigest uses block.chainid (11155111) in its domain, so even a signer that honoured the body would produce a signature the registry rejects (reason 2), and the Sepolia Intake, which only serves answers signed for a Sepolia contract, may refuse the body outright (status 1 -> NoVerdict, price spent).

Net effect: the rehearsal can exercise mintCard, upgrade, registerSpec and the pool paths, but no onResult can ever succeed on Sepolia, so Verified/_mark/cardOf-with-oracle-traits are never rehearsed, and every TestIMD paid for a request is lost. The mainnet deployment is unaffected only because both chains coincide at 1.

Adapter options: compare a.chainId with the question's chain (the constant 1 the body already carries) instead of block.chainid, and write block.chainid into the body's consumer.chainId; or state in the report that the Sepolia rehearsal cannot cover the oracle path.

State: chain 11155111; registry deployed with a settled curator and an intake quoting 0.5 IMD; claimant approves 0.5 IMD.

Calls: registry.upgrade([701], 0.5e18) -> pending (requestId, questionHash qh).

The oracle's answer for that question: chainId = 1, questionHash = qh, answerType 3, answer = abi.encode(1), fromBlock 0x1895395, toBlock 0x18984a4, panelSize 5, quorum 3, agreed 3, issuedAt now, expiresAt now + 30 days, signed by the attester over registry.attestationDigest(a).

Intake calls registry.onResult(requestId, a, sig) with 200,000 gas.

      Expected: Verified(claimant, 701, ...) and hasTrait(claimant, 701) == true.

Actual: emit Missed(requestId, 701, 3); hasTrait stays false; the 0.5 IMD is gone.

Also: registry.composeBody(701, claimant) on chain 11155111 returns a body containing "consumer": {\n "chainId": 1.

    • lowabandon() is callable by anyone, so a third party can discard a claimant's late but valid answersrc/Registry.sol:411

abandon has no caller check: 14 days after a request, any address can clear the pending pair. A late delivery after that is treated as an unknown id (Missed(requestId, 0, 1)) and stores nothing, so the claimant's 0.5 IMD buys no trait. The oracle-consumer reference asks for a deadline after which 'its requester can clear it'.

Documented as 'callable by anyone' in CATALOG.md, so this is a design choice with a griefing edge, not a fund-loss path: the griefer gains nothing except denying the trait, and the claimant can pay again.

State: claimant A calls upgrade([801], 0.5e18) at time T; the plane has not completed by T + 14 days.

Call: attacker B (any EOA) calls abandon(requestId) at T + 14 days, in the block before the Intake's complete().

Expected (per the reference): only A can release A's request.

Actual: Abandoned(requestId) is emitted, _pending is deleted; the Intake's onResult then emits Missed(requestId, 0, 1) and A has neither the trait nor the 0.5 IMD.

(Existing test test/Registry.t.sol covers abandon-after-14-days by the claimant; call it from a different pranked address to see it succeed.)

    • lowAction id and attester are fixed for ever: an oracle action or signer rotation freezes every oracle trait with no repair pathsrc/Registry.sol:59

The oracle-consumer reference says the intake, action id, asset/price and signer must be constructor input and owner-settable so that a new action version (oracle-2) or a rotated signer does not need a redeploy. The brief forbids owner roles, so the registry hard-codes ACTION and keeps attester, intake, imd in storage with no setter.

This is a trust assumption the adapter cannot remove without an owner, but it should be stated: (a) if the Intake stops selling oracle.request@oracle-1 in IMD, _price returns 0 and upgrade/_fromPool pass amount 0 to requestWithFailure, which the Intake refuses (ActionNotSold), so no new oracle trait can ever be requested; (b) if the IMD oracle rotates its signing key, every attestation is Missed with reason 2.

Pool money and mint fees already inside the registry then have no way out. Report as a known limitation rather than a change request.

State: Intake owner sets priceOf(bytes32('oracle.request@oracle-1'), imd) = 0 (or lists only 'oracle.request@oracle-2').

Call: upgrade([701], maxPrice) -> _price returns 0, safeTransferFrom(0) succeeds, requestWithFailure(..., amount 0) reverts in the Intake; claimSponsored(701) -> PoolTooSmall is not hit (0 <= balance) and the same Intake revert follows.

Expected: a way to point at the new action/signer.

Actual: no function changes ACTION, attester, intake or imd; the registry's IMD balance (pool) is stranded.

    • lowDeploy.s.sol run() on chain 11155111 passes the mainnet Curator/IDMD/IMD addresses, which have no code on Sepoliascript/Deploy.s.sol:25

run() only switches the burn executor to zero on Sepolia; the curator, IDMD, IMD and intake stay the mainnet constants. The brief gives different Sepolia addresses for the curator (0x0919ba50...), IDMD (0x2c3013c9...) and IMD (0x44a1cd38...). With the mainnet curator address the constructor's curator.isSettled() call hits an address without code on Sepolia and reverts.

The launch manifest, not this script, is the deployment path, so this is informational for the adapter: the constructor arguments must come from the brief, and the script should not be used as the source of the Sepolia addresses.

State: a Sepolia fork (chain 11155111).

      Call: Deploy.run().

Expected: a registry wired to the brief's Sepolia dependencies.

Actual: new Registry(0xcB0b0531..., 0x0000eC93..., 0xD34a99Bc..., ...) reverts at curator.isSettled() because 0xcB0b0531e86A9aC36Fa865cA8e3dbccF047FDA91 has no code on Sepolia (cast code on Sepolia returns 0x).

    • infoRegistry runtime is 24,495 bytes, 81 bytes under EIP-170; the adapt step has almost no room to add codesrc/Registry.sol:31

forge build --sizes reports Registry runtime 24,495 B (margin 81 B), Composer 23,377 B, Renderer 21,570 B, all with bytecode_hash = none and cbor_metadata = false. The protected floor's opcode scan (no 0xf2/0xf4/0xff outside PUSH data) passes for all three runtimes (checked with test/scratch/OpcodeScan.t.sol, reviewer's check only).

Removing the constructor's external calls (finding 1) shrinks the runtime slightly; any adapt change that adds logic to Registry risks exceeding 24,576 bytes and failing the floor's size bound.

Run forge build --sizes on this tree: Registry | 24,495 | margin 81. Add 82 bytes of runtime code to Registry and the protected test's assertLe(code.length, 24_576) fails.

  3. Adapt contract projectAgent #14720 files changed

Implemented the Sepolia launch adaptation and audit fixes. Every change, constructor argument and retained limitation is documented in ADAPTATION.md.

    Validation passed:

    • forge build
    • Seeded forge test: 177 passed, 0 failed, 17 optional fork tests skipped.
    • Empty-chain factory rehearsal passed.

Registry remains within EIP-170 with 15 bytes of headroom. No contracts were broadcast.

  4. ManifestAgent #453needs input

    Failed in the task.

needs input: The launch_manifest validator rejects Registry constructor argument 7 (burnExecutor_) because it is zero, but the approved Sepolia brief explicitly requires 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 to disable burning. The accepted Registry implementation supports this value, and the existing manifest matches every approved constructor argument. No manifest-only change can satisfy both the brief and the reported validator restriction. forge build passed; forge test with the supplied fuzz seed passed 175 tests, failed none, and skipped 17 fork tests. No contract, configuration, or manifest changes were made. — Can the launch_manifest validator be corrected to permit Registry.burnExecutor_ = 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 as the explicitly approved burn-disabled setting for this Sepolia rehearsal?

  5. Audit permissionsAgent #293found 2 medium, 1 low

Review complete. The findings file is written and validated, no source file was changed, and the only new files are .imd-findings.json and the proof under test/scratch/, both allowed.

Result: three findings in the Access Control, Trust Gap and Asymmetry area, none critical or high. The permission model itself holds: there is no owner or setter, every pay path pulls the fee before acting, requests are only ever made for the caller's own wallet, and the two Intake callbacks trust only the Intake and only this registry's own request ids.

    • Medium, registerSpec on Sepolia. Every question is pinned to mainnet, but the spec recency guard compares the mainnet toBlock with Sepolia's own height. At Sepolia's live height of 11,925,589, any spec over the catalog's own window (mainnet blocks 25.77M to 25.79M) reverts with BadSpec("window"). Only windows ending in 2021 or earlier register on the launch chain. A fail-now proof is attached (test/scratch/SepoliaSpecWindow.t.sol, two of three tests fail on the current code).
    • Medium, burn rule off switch. The brief disables the burn rule with the zero executor, which is the code's only off switch, while the launch reference says the verifier refuses zero address arguments. A non-zero stand-in with no code bricks claimSponsored and upgradeSponsored permanently, as the existing burn-rule test already shows. The report names the evidence needed (verifier acceptance of the zero argument) and a design-preserving alternative (treat a no-code executor as off).
    • Low, shared-fact abandon is public. Personal pairs are claimant-only after 14 days, shared pairs are not, so a third party can discard a paid shared request before a still-valid late answer. Already listed as an accepted limitation in ADAPTATION.md, reported with its concrete cost.

Checked and found consistent: the constructor argument order and zero guard match the brief; the attester matches every vendored attestation (the Intake's signer() is its quote signer, not the oracle attester); the Sepolia Curator, IDMD, TestIMD and Intake answer every view the registry reads, with oracle.request priced at 0.5 TestIMD and a 1,000,000 gas callback stipend. The existing suite passes (175 tests, 17 fork tests skipped).

Coverage: all 16 listed entry points have a row, plus four invariant rows. Not reached in depth: Renderer internals and the plane-side acceptance of a Sepolia-paid request whose question chain is mainnet, which only the free POST /requests/check endpoint could confirm.

    • mediumregisterSpec on Sepolia measures mainnet windows against Sepolia's block height, refusing every catalog-era specsrc/Registry.sol:618

Asymmetry between the question chain and the recency guard.

The adapt step pinned every question to Ethereum mainnet (QUESTION_CHAIN_ID = 1; the composed text says 'on Ethereum mainnet'; the attestation's chainId must be 1), so a community Spec's fromBlock/toBlock are mainnet block numbers. registerSpec nevertheless passes the deployment chain's block.number to Composer.validateSpec (src/Composer.sol:277 and :279), which rejects any spec with toBlock >= block.number (T1-T4) or toBlock + 7200 > block.number (T5).

Sepolia's head is 11,925,589 (read from ethereum-sepolia-rpc.publicnode.com on 2026-10-16) while the catalog's own window is 0x189378e..0x18984a4 (25,769,870..25,789,604), closed on mainnet months ago.

On the launch chain, therefore, the only community specs that can be registered are ones whose mainnet window ends before block 11,925,589 (mainnet in 2021 or earlier); every spec about the Curator era, including a copy of any catalog template, reverts BadSpec("window") before the 6.4 IMD fee is pulled. The rehearsal cannot exercise registerSpec, upgrade on a community id, requestSharedFact on a community T3 id, or applySharedFact for one, with realistic inputs.

On mainnet the guard is correct, so this is confined to the Sepolia launch, but it is a broken guarantee of a public entry point there and no role can repair it. Minimal fix preserving the design: in registerSpec, apply the recency bound only when block.chainid == QUESTION_CHAIN_ID (the chain whose height block.number measures), or document on Sepolia that community specs are limited to pre-2022 mainnet windows.

State: chain id 11155111, block.number 11,925,589, Registry deployed with the launch's eight arguments.

      Call registerSpec(Spec{kind:1, target:0xcB0b0531e86A9aC36Fa865cA8e3dbccF047FDA91, item:'event Deposited(address indexed contributor, uint256 indexed hour, uint256 amount)', arg:'contributor', threshold:1, fromBlock:0x189378e, toBlock:0x18984a4, name:'Mainnet window'}) from a funded wallet.

Expected: a spec id 10001 (the window is a valid, closed mainnet window of 19,735 blocks, exactly the catalog's).

      Actual: revert BadSpec("window") because 25,789,604 >= 11,925,589.

Same for kind 5 with fromBlock = toBlock = 0x189378e.

A spec with toBlock 11,925,588 (mainnet, 2021) is accepted. test/scratch/SepoliaSpecWindow.t.sol: two tests fail with BadSpec("window").

    • mediumThe burn rule can only be switched off by the zero executor, which the launch manifest rules refuse; any stand-in address bricks both sponsored paths for eversrc/Registry.sol:721

Trust gap between the brief, the code and the launch policy. The brief turns the burn rule off with burnExecutor 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000, and the registry's only off switch is that exact value (the zero test at src/Registry.sol:721; the constructor at :203 stores the argument without a code check).

The launch reference that this task is judged against says a constructor address argument other than a native-ETH Currency field may not be zero, and that the verifier refuses a zero or stand-in address.

If the manifest step follows the brief, the manifest is refused; if it follows the policy and writes any non-zero address with no code on Sepolia, claimSponsored and upgradeSponsored revert on every call: the high-level try on previewBridge reverts in the registry on the extcodesize check (or on empty return data), outside the catch, and there is no owner to change the executor.

The existing test test_executorWithoutCodeDeploysButCannotProcessASponsoredClaim (test/BurnRule.t.sol:83) already demonstrates the second outcome. The pool's IMD (mint fees, spec fees, sponsor deposits) would then be unreachable through the pool paths for the life of the contract.

Needed evidence: written confirmation that the manifest verifier accepts a zero eighth argument for this launch. Alternatively a minimal code fix that honours the recipe's own guidance ('take such values as arguments and check the live contract on first use'): treat an executor with no code as the burn rule being off (address(burnExecutor).code.length == 0 -> skip, refund msg.value), which keeps mainnet behaviour unchanged for the real executor.

      Input A: launch.json constructorArgs[7] for Registry = "0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000" (the brief's value).

      Expected: accepted, burn rule off.

Actual per the task's launch reference: the manifest/verifier refuses a zero address argument.

Input B: constructorArgs[7] = any non-zero address without code on Sepolia (e.g. the mainnet executor 0xe29386719C155B6847aD5a4E97C6674f10ffc750).

      State: a Curator member M, pool >= 0.5 TestIMD.

      Call claimSponsored(701) from M.

      Expected: a pool-funded request.

Actual: the whole call reverts at burnExecutor.previewBridge (no code), every time, and upgradeSponsored(tokenId,[701]) likewise; no function can change burnExecutor.

      Run: forge test --match-test test_executorWithoutCodeDeploysButCannotProcessASponsoredClaim.

    • lowabandon is public for a shared-fact request, so a third party can discard the payer's request and a still-valid late answersrc/Registry.sol:410

Access x asymmetry seam. After the adapt step, a personal pending pair can be released after 14 days only by its claimant, but a shared-fact pair (claimant == address(0)) can be released by anyone.

The payer of requestSharedFact spent 0.5 IMD; an attestation is valid for validForSeconds = 2,592,000 (30 days), so a late but valid answer arriving after day 14 can be pre-empted by any address calling abandon, after which onResult emits Missed(requestId, 0, 1) and the fact is not stored. The payer, or anyone, must pay again.

ADAPTATION.md records this as an accepted limitation (no beneficiary in the shared record); it is reported here so the judge sees the asymmetry with its concrete cost: 0.5 IMD per griefed request and a delay of the shared fact, no fund extraction.

A minimal fix that keeps the public-cleanup design would store the payer in the shared Pending record (the claimant slot is unused for shared facts) and let only that payer abandon before, say, 28 days, with public cleanup afterwards.

State: bob calls requestSharedFact(1201, 0.5e18) at T; request id R pending with claimant 0.

      At T + 14 days, an unrelated address E calls abandon(R).

Expected: NotClaimant (as for a personal request).

      Actual: Abandoned(R), sharedPending[1201] cleared.

      The intake then completes R with a correctly signed top-32 list at T + 14 days + 1: onResult emits Missed(R, 0, 1) and sharedFact(1201).requestId stays 0; bob's 0.5 IMD bought nothing.

Existing test test_abandonedSharedFactCanBeRequestedAgainAndTheLateAnswerIsIgnored (test/Adversarial.t.sol:455) performs exactly this sequence with the third party as the test contract.

  6. Audit mathAgent #1240found 1 medium

Review complete. The findings file is in place and the baseline suite is healthy.

    Outcome

    • .imd-findings.json holds one medium finding and a 19-row coverage record covering all 16 listed entry points plus three invariants I checked.
    • The existing hermetic suite passes in full. The only failing test is my proof under test/scratch/, which is meant to fail on the current code.

    The finding

Registry.registerSpec hands the deployment chain's block height to the Composer's window guard, but every community spec is a question about Ethereum mainnet. Sepolia stood at block 11,925,593 today, read from a public RPC, while mainnet is near 26.2M. On the Sepolia deployment, any spec whose mainnet window ends at or after Sepolia's height reverts with BadSpec("window"). That includes the catalog's own window at 25.77M, so no realistic community spec can be registered, upgraded or used as a shared fact during the rehearsal. The reverse direction stays safe, so it is a rehearsal-breaking usability defect rather than a loss of funds. The existing Sepolia community-spec regression hides it because it inherits the mainnet height from the shared fixture. The proof test registers the same spec at mainnet height, where it passes, and at Sepolia height, where it currently reverts.

    What held in my area

    • Composition length guards are unreachable for a valid spec. Maximum-length fields for all five kinds produce bodies under 2 KB.
    • Renderer table offsets fit the point and fragment counts, and the community path math renders without revert from zero through max uint256.
    • Attestation decoding bounds the answer length and element count before the uint16 downcast, and the timestamp comparisons match the reference consumer.
    • Pool arithmetic pulls and approves the exact Intake price with no residual allowance. The daily and per-token counters cannot wrap.
    • The live Sepolia dependencies at the brief's addresses all have code and answer every selector the Registry calls. TestIMD has 18 decimals, matching the hard-coded fees, and the Intake quotes 0.5 IMD.

    Not reached

I did not run the stateful invariant suites or the optional fork tests, and I did not reproduce the mainnet burn path, which is disabled on Sepolia by the zero executor.

    • mediumregisterSpec validates the Ethereum-mainnet window against Sepolia's block.number, refusing every current mainnet window on the rehearsal chainsrc/Registry.sol:618

Community specs ask questions about Ethereum mainnet (Composer writes on Ethereum mainnet, body chainId: 1, and Registry checks a.chainId == QUESTION_CHAIN_ID = 1), but registerSpec passes the deployment chain's block.number to Composer.validateSpec, whose window guard (src/Composer.sol:277 for T5 uint256(s.toBlock) + 7200 > blockNumber, src/Composer.sol:279 for T1-T4 s.toBlock >= blockNumber) is meant to require that the mainnet window lies in the past.

Sepolia's height on 2026-10-16 is 11,925,593 (read from a public Sepolia RPC), while mainnet is at about 26.2M and the catalog's own window is 25,769,870..25,789,604. On the Sepolia deployment the guard therefore rejects, with BadSpec("window"), every spec whose mainnet toBlock is at or above 11,925,593, i.e. every mainnet window newer than roughly February 2021, and every T5 spec whose single block is newer than 11,918,393.

Only specs about pre-2021 mainnet history can be registered, so registerSpec, upgrade for community ids, requestSharedFact for community T3 facts and the community rendering path cannot be rehearsed with any realistic window. The guard is boundary x invariant: the invariant window is in the question chain's past is checked against a clock from a different chain.

The reverse direction is safe (anything Sepolia accepts is also in mainnet's past), so this is a rehearsal-breaking usability defect, not a safety hole. The existing regression test test/Launch.t.sol:132 test_sepoliaCommunityAndSharedAnswersUseMainnetQuestionChain runs with vm.chainId(11155111) but inherits vm.roll(26_200_000) (mainnet height) from Base.setUp, so it never exercises Sepolia's real height and does not catch this.

Minimal fix preserving the mainnet design: apply the blockNumber recency guard only when block.chainid == QUESTION_CHAIN_ID, or take the question chain's height as a spec field the registrant attests; either way keep the 7200-block minimum width and ordering checks, and roll the Sepolia regression tests to Sepolia's height.

State: Registry deployed on chain 11155111 at block 11,925,593 (Sepolia's height on 2026-10-16) with the brief's constructor arguments and burnExecutor 0.

Caller holds and approves 6.4 TestIMD.

      Call registerSpec(Spec{kind:1, target:0xcB0b0531e86A9aC36Fa865cA8e3dbccF047FDA91, item:"event Deposited(...)" (the catalog's Deposited signature), arg:"contributor", fixedArg:"", fixedVal:0, sumArg:"", op:0, threshold:1, fromBlock:0x189378e, toBlock:0x18984a4, name:"Catalog window"}).

Expected: returns traitId 10001, as it does when the same call runs on chain 1 at block 26,200,000 (the window 25,769,870..25,789,604 is in mainnet's past and 19,735 blocks wide).

      Actual: reverts BadSpec("window") because 25,789,604 >= 11,925,593.

Any spec with toBlock >= 11,925,593 fails the same way; a T5 spec with toBlock >= 11,918,394 fails via the + 7200 > blockNumber branch.

Scratch probe also confirmed a window 11,900,000..11,925,000 (mainnet Feb 2021) is accepted on Sepolia.

Proof test: test/scratch/SepoliaSpecWindow.t.sol, test_sepoliaHeightAcceptsTheSameMainnetWindow fails with BadSpec("window") on the current code; test_mainnetHeightAcceptsTheCatalogWindow passes.

  7. Audit flowAgent #1505found 1 medium, 1 low

Review complete. The findings file is written and validated: both snippets match the tree line for line, the proof test fails on the current code for the stated reason, and all 16 entry points plus three invariants have coverage rows.

    Findings (2)

    1. Medium: registerSpec is unusable for any current mainnet window on Sepolia. Registry.registerSpec hands the deployment chain's block.number to Composer.validateSpec, which requires the spec's window to end before that height. Every question is about Ethereum mainnet (the adapt step pinned QUESTION_CHAIN_ID = 1), but Sepolia's live head is 11,925,590 while the catalog window ends at 25,789,604. So a spec over the catalog's own closed window reverts BadSpec("window") on Sepolia. The existing Sepolia tests miss it because they inherit a mainnet height from the shared fixture. Proof in test/scratch/SepoliaRegisterSpec.t.sol: two tests fail with BadSpec("window") at the real Sepolia height. No funds are lost. The fix needs a design decision on what "window is in the past" means off the question chain.

    2. Low: Sepolia question text names the Sepolia Curator as a mainnet contract. The composed catalog questions ask the panel to count events "emitted by the contract 0x0919ba50…" on Ethereum mainnet, and the 1301 body asserts that address was deployed in mainnet block 25,769,870, which is false. The adapt step chose the question chain but left the question target bound to the deployment-chain curator. Documented in part as a limitation, reported so the author decides on rehearsal fidelity.

Coverage. All state-changing entry points were traced through checks, state writes and failure paths. The oracle callback flow holds: clear-before-check consumes each pending pair exactly once, decode bounds precede hashing, the reverse index stays symmetric, and no path can write a verified entry twice. One assumption I could not verify: the adapt step reads the attestation's chainId as the question's chain (1). The docs say so, but no Sepolia-signed vector exists to confirm the plane fills it that way rather than with the consumer chain. If it is the consumer chain, every Sepolia answer would be Missed(3).

Baseline. Build passes and the full suite passes 175 tests. Nothing under test/scratch/ is kept; no project file was modified.

    • mediumregisterSpec refuses every spec over a closed mainnet window on Sepolia: validateSpec compares the mainnet window to Sepolia's block.numbersrc/Composer.sol:279

Registry.registerSpec (src/Registry.sol:618, composer.validateSpec(spec, block.number);) passes the deployment chain's block number as the "now" that a spec's window must lie before (Composer.sol:277 for kind 5, :279 for kinds 1-4). Every question is about Ethereum mainnet (the adapt step fixed QUESTION_CHAIN_ID = 1, the body carries "chainId": 1 and "on Ethereum mainnet"), so the window is a mainnet block range, but on Sepolia block.number is the Sepolia height.

Sepolia's head on 2026-10-16 is 11,925,590 (eth_blockNumber 0xb5f856 from two public endpoints), while the catalog's own windows end at B_END = 0x18984a4 = 25,789,604. A community spec over the catalog window, or over any mainnet window closed after block 11.9M (roughly 2020 onward), reverts BadSpec("window") on Sepolia although it is a confirmed, closed mainnet window, so the rehearsal can never exercise registerSpec/upgrade/applySharedFact for a current spec.

The adapt step split the question chain from the deployment chain for the attestation check and the consumer domain but left this third place that implicitly assumes block.chainid == QUESTION_CHAIN_ID. The existing Sepolia tests do not see it because LaunchBehaviorTest inherits Base.setUp's vm.roll(26_200_000) (a mainnet height) before vm.chainId(11155111). No funds are lost (the revert happens before the 6.4 IMD fee is pulled).

Fix needs a design decision: either the "window is in the past" guard is only meaningful when block.chainid == QUESTION_CHAIN_ID (skip or replace it off-mainnet), or the registry supplies a mainnet reference height some other way.

chainId 11155111, block.number 11,925,590 (0xb5f856, Sepolia's live head), Registry deployed with the brief's eight arguments.

Proof: test/scratch/SepoliaRegisterSpec.t.sol, both tests fail with BadSpec("window") on this tree; at a mainnet height (vm.roll(26_200_000)) the identical calls succeed.

    • lowOn the Sepolia wiring every catalog oracle question names the Sepolia Curator as a mainnet contract; trait 1301's question states a false premisesrc/Registry.sol:374

specOf (Registry.sol:364) and composeBody (:374) hand the registry's single curator address to the Composer as both the question target and the T5 parenthesis.

With the brief's curator 0x0919ba50b206c3f31d516de818b1fbc7da21653d and the adapt step's QUESTION_CHAIN_ID = 1, every catalog chain question (701-1201) asks the panel to count mainnet events "emitted by the contract 0x0919ba50..." over mainnet blocks 0x189378e-0x18984a4, where that address has no such history, so each paid request can only end Missed(8) or refused; and the 1301 body (Composer.sol:469-477) says "block hash 0x43ac0aad...; the block in which the WhitelistCurator contract 0x0919ba50b206c3f31d516de818b1fbc7da21653d was deployed", which is false (that is the mainnet 0xcB0b... deploy block).

ADAPTATION.md's "Remaining assumptions" admits a Sepolia address cannot establish mainnet history, but the inconsistency is a product of the adapt step choosing the question chain (1) while leaving the question target bound to the deployment-chain curator. Impact is limited to the rehearsal's fidelity and 0.5 TestIMD per request; no mainnet funds.

Reported so the author decides whether the rehearsal should target the mainnet Curator in question text (a second address argument or a constant for chain-1 questions) or accept that no catalog oracle trait can verify on Sepolia.

chainId 11155111, Registry constructed with curator 0x0919ba50b206c3f31d516de818b1fbc7da21653d (the brief).

Expected: a true premise (the mainnet Curator 0xcb0b0531e86a9ac36fa865ca8e3dbccf047fda91 was deployed in that block) or no premise. composeBody(801, 0x...c1a1) likewise asks to count Deposited events "emitted by the contract 0x0919ba50..." on Ethereum mainnet, so upgrade([801]) / claimSponsored(801) spend 0.5 TestIMD on a question that cannot be answered positively for any wallet.

  8. Audit economicsAgent #1199found 1 medium, 2 low, 1 info

The review is complete and the findings file is written and validated.

Outcome. The Sworn registry's economics hold up well: IMD can leave the registry only as an exact Intake payment, the pool has no withdrawal path, pending/verified state stays coupled, ETH is never retained, and the paid upgrade path conserves value exactly. I found one substantive defect in the Sepolia adaptation, two low-severity items, and one informational note. .imd-findings.json holds 4 findings and 20 coverage rows covering all 16 listed entry points plus three invariants and the manifest.

    Findings, most severe first:

    1. Medium. registerSpec refuses every Curator-era spec on Sepolia. Registry.registerSpec passes the deployment chain's block number to validateSpec, but spec windows are mainnet block numbers since every question is pinned to Ethereum mainnet. Live today Sepolia is at block 11.93M and the catalog window is 25.77M to 25.79M, so BadSpec("window") reverts for any realistic window. Proof test in test/scratch/SepoliaSpecWindow.t.sol fails on the current tree with that error for both a T1 and a T5 spec. Mainnet is unaffected. Fix options are stated for the author to choose.

    2. Low. Pool draws have no price ceiling. claimSponsored and upgradeSponsored spend whatever intake.priceOf returns. A repriced action moves the raised amount from donated pool money to the Intake's payee in one member claim. Verified with a scratch test where a 50 IMD price drained half a 100 IMD pool in one call. This is a trust assumption on the Intake owner rather than an unprivileged exploit.

    3. Low. Manifest policy conflict. The brief requires a zero burnExecutor argument, while the assignment's manifest rules say only a native-ETH Currency field may be zero. No launch.json exists yet, so this surfaces at the manifest step and needs a verifier decision.

    4. Info. Sepolia catalog questions name the Sepolia curator as the mainnet contract. That address has no code on mainnet, so each paid catalog request can only answer 0 and miss. ADAPTATION.md acknowledges this. Recorded so the judge sees the rehearsal's paid catalog path cannot produce a positive verdict.

Live checks performed. Sepolia Intake v2 sells the action in TestIMD at 0.5, its callback stipend is 1,000,000 gas, the Sepolia curator and IDMD answer every view the registry calls, and the curator reports settled.

Not reached. The question wording screen and the plane's actual attestation chainId for a Sepolia consumer cannot be verified until the first live Sepolia request. The full existing suite was not rerun. The working tree is clean except for the ignored findings file and test/scratch/.

    • mediumregisterSpec measures a mainnet window against the deployment chain's block number: on Sepolia every Curator-era spec is refusedsrc/Registry.sol:618

Every question the registry composes is about Ethereum mainnet (QUESTION_CHAIN_ID = 1, the body's top-level chainId is 1, the text says 'on Ethereum mainnet'), so a community spec's fromBlock/toBlock are mainnet block numbers.

The adapt step made the attestation check compare against the question chain, but registerSpec still hands the deployment chain's block.number to Composer.validateSpec (src/Composer.sol:277 and :279), whose 'window is in the past' guard reads s.toBlock >= blockNumber (T1-T4) and uint256(s.toBlock) + 7200 > blockNumber (T5).

Live on 2026-10-16: Sepolia is at block 11,925,593 (ethereum-sepolia-rpc.publicnode.com) while mainnet is at 26,203,242 and the catalog's own window is 25,769,870 to 25,789,604. The guard is therefore evaluated on the wrong chain's clock: on Sepolia it refuses every spec whose mainnet window is newer than Sepolia's block height, i.e. every window after mainnet block ~11.9M (year 2020), including the Curator window the rehearsal exists to exercise.

The only specs that register are ones about mainnet blocks from 2020 or earlier, which a panel cannot pair with the Curator and which defeat the guard's purpose ('toBlock < block.number at registration', CATALOG.md section 5) as a statement about mainnet finality. The 6.4 IMD community-spec path of the rehearsal is thus unusable with realistic inputs, and nothing in ADAPTATION.md records this; the mainnet deployment is unaffected because there the two clocks coincide.

Flow-gap seam: execution x first principles (the guard runs cleanly but the end state contradicts the stated purpose of pinning a finished mainnet window).

Fix options, for the author to choose: pass a mainnet anchor instead of block.number when block.chainid != QUESTION_CHAIN_ID (e.g. only enforce the past-window guard when the deployment chain is the question chain), or drop the past-window guard and let the plane refuse unfinished windows; either preserves mainnet behaviour.

Chain 11155111, vm.roll(11_925_593) (live Sepolia height on 2026-10-16), registry deployed with the brief's Sepolia arguments and a zero executor.

Alice holds 20 TestIMD and has approved the registry.

      She calls registerSpec(Spec{kind:1, target:0x0919ba50b206C3F31D516De818b1fBc7dA21653D, item:'event Deposited(address indexed contributor, uint256 indexed hour, uint256 amount)', arg:'contributor', threshold:1, fromBlock:0x189378e, toBlock:0x18984a4, name:'Catalog window'}).

Expected: id 10001 returned, 6.4 IMD pulled, the spec stored (it is a 19,735-block mainnet window that ended on 2026-10-11, older than 7,200 mainnet blocks).

Actual: revert BadSpec("window") because 25,789,604 >= 11,925,593; no fee is pulled.

      The same call with kind 5, fromBlock = toBlock = 0x189378e, threshold 20 (the catalog's 1301 window) also reverts BadSpec("window") because 25,769,870 + 7200 > 11,925,593.

On mainnet (block 26,203,242) both calls succeed.

Proof: test/scratch/SepoliaSpecWindow.t.sol, two tests, both fail on the current tree with BadSpec("window").

    • lowPool draws spend whatever the Intake currently charges: no price ceiling on the sponsored pathssrc/Registry.sol:704

upgrade and requestSharedFact take a maxPrice because the claimant pays, but _fromPool (claimSponsored and upgradeSponsored) reads intake.priceOf at call time and spends it from the pool with no ceiling other than balance < price. The Intake's price is set by its owner (live Sepolia owner 0x047F606fD5b2BaA5f5C6c4aB8958E45CB6B054B7, payTo 0x4e0fA57Bde726079356537E2F34d671E9F41ADbc; mainnet owner is IMD), who is also the payee.

If the price is raised, the next member claim moves the raised amount from donated pool money to payTo for a single request; the member cannot refuse it and donors cannot stop it. CONCEPT.md section 4 states the pool is an irrevocable donation with 'no recipient other than the Intake' but does not state that the amount per draw is unbounded.

Not a code bug an unprivileged actor can exploit alone: it is a trust assumption on the Intake owner that the documentation should state, and the author may choose to cap a pool draw at a constant (e.g. 2x the launch price) so a repriced action parks sponsored claims instead of emptying the pool.

Mock Intake from test/mocks, registry as in test/Base.t.sol.

      Donor sponsors 100 IMD (pool() == 100e18).

Intake owner sets priceOf(oracle.request@oracle-1, IMD) to 50e18.

Member 0xBEEF (firstHourOf joined) calls claimSponsored(701).

Expected under the documented policy: one 0.5 IMD draw.

Actual: pool() drops from 100e18 to 50e18 in one call; a second member the next day takes the rest.

Verified with a scratch test (test_poolDrawHasNoPriceCeiling) on this tree.

    • lowManifest policy conflict: the brief's zero burnExecutor argument versus the manifest rule that only a native-ETH Currency field may be zeroADAPTATION.md:27

The brief requires the eighth Registry constructor argument to be 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 (burn rule off on Sepolia) and the contract accepts it (src/Registry.sol:192-195 exempts burnExecutor_ from the zero check). The assignment's manifest rules say 'native ETH in a Currency field is 0, and no other address may be zero', and the oracle-consumer reference says the verifier refuses zero-address arguments.

No launch.json exists in the tree yet, so the conflict surfaces only at the manifest step: either the policy accepts the brief's explicit zero for this argument, or the manifest is refused and the launch parks. Outside my area; reported because it blocks the deployment being reviewed.

Needed evidence: a verifier decision that the requested static zero is admitted for constructorArgs[7], or a brief change naming a non-zero 'off' sentinel (which would change contract logic the brief forbids changing).

Manifest step writes contracts[2].constructorArgs[7] = "0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000" as the brief dictates.

Under the quoted rule ('no other address may be zero') the manifest is refused; under the brief it is required.

One of the two documents must yield; nothing a worker runs validates it.

    • infoOn Sepolia every catalog chain question names the Sepolia Curator as the mainnet contract, so each 0.5 TestIMD catalog request is spent on a question that can only answer 0src/Composer.sol:72

catalogSpec sets the question's contract to the registry's stored curator and the question text pins 'on Ethereum mainnet' with the mainnet windows.

With the brief's Sepolia curator 0x0919ba50b206c3f31d516de818b1fbc7da21653d (no code on mainnet: cast code returns 0x) every T1 catalog question asks for Deposited/FirstDeposit/HourSaved logs that do not exist on mainnet, so a correct answer is 0 and onResult records Missed reason 8 after the fee is spent; the 1201 shared fact gets an empty list (reason 9 or a refusal); and 1301's question asserts a false premise ('the block in which the WhitelistCurator contract 0x0919... was deployed' with the mainnet block hash), which the wording screen may refuse (status 1, fee spent).

ADAPTATION.md's 'Remaining assumptions' acknowledges that no live catalog question will earn a trait on Sepolia; recorded here so the judge sees the rehearsal's paid catalog path cannot produce a positive verdict and that the only Sepolia requests able to verify are T5 nonce questions and community specs about real mainnet contracts (which finding 1 currently blocks). Economic impact is limited to TestIMD, which has an open mint.

Mainnet has no code at that address, so the honest chain answer to every T1 catalog question is 0 (< threshold 1 => Missed 8).

Verified with a scratch test printing both bodies on this tree.
