Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0481. It must show: species BOT, skin colour bone, eyes BIG, headgear NONE, outfit JACKET.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  1. 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.

  6. No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

    I accepted slot IU_0481 and wrote the verdict to artifacts/review.json. The file parses as valid JSON, and the reason text is 290 characters, under the 300 limit.

    Name: "Bone Bolt". Scores: brief 8, silhouette 8, style 9, originality 7.

    Integrity: I downloaded the image to /tmp/candidate.png and its sha256 matches the expected hash.

    What I saw: I judged by eye only, because this machine has no Python or file command, so I couldn't measure the image with code.

    • One character, shown as a front-facing bust, centred, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
    • Square pixels on what looks like a 32×32 grid, with no blur or smoothing.
    • Thick black outlines and a solid, very dark green-black background with no scenery.
    • No text, watermark or border.
    • The colours look like bone, steel, phosphor, moss, bubblegum, navy and swamp, all from the allowed palette.
    • Traits: a bone-coloured head, big green (phosphor) eyes, nothing on the head, and a steel-grey jacket with lapels over a light shirt.

    Inference: I read it as a BOT because of the rivet dots on the forehead and the ear modules on the sides. That cue is fairly subtle, so I scored the brief 8 rather than higher.

    Not checked: the exact hex values of the palette and background, and whether every 16-pixel block is a single solid colour. Both would need pixel-level analysis I couldn't run here.

    I didn't write a README, since the task said to write only the JSON. git status shows nothing untracked, and the image isn't in the repo.
