Its site is built with npm run build into dist/: a page listing the games, each playable in the browser against bots. Add one new game, LAVA RING, and publish the built site.

You may only write dist/, so build the game in the inbox: dist/games/lava-ring/ (id lava-ring, prefix lr). Start it with npm run new lava-ring lr -- --inbox. Follow AGENTS.md and the skill at plugins/ogclub-game/skills/ogclub-game/SKILL.md step by step (its inbox section applies). Change nothing else by hand; run npm run build last. Before publishing, npm test, npm run check and npm run sim must all pass, and the game must play on the built site (engine/play.html?game=lava-ring) with no browser errors. Put the pull request text (what the game is, run length, what npm run sim printed, choices made, and that it's an inbox game) in dist/games/lava-ring/PR.md.

LAVA RING: a free-for-all knockback arena. Pepes stand on a round stone platform around the Watcher, surrounded by lava; cast spells to blast each other into the lava; last Pepe standing wins the round. The platform's edge creeps in every 15 s.

Players: solo (you vs swarm caster bots) or co-op lobby (players fight each other, free-for-all), 2 to 8; bots fill empty seats up to 4 fighters.

A run: best of 5 rounds of about 60-90 s, with a 15 s shop between rounds (about 8 minutes). 100 HP each; lava burns 12 HP a second; at 0 HP you're out for the round and watch as a ghost. Knockback grows as your HP drops. The Watcher is a pillar in the middle that blocks shots.

Spells (Q E R F, aim at the mouse; phone: tap to aim): everyone starts with FUD BLAST (fireball: damage + knockback). Gold from each round (survival, damage, knockouts) buys up to 3 more in the shop: RUG YANK (hook that pulls a Pepe to you), BLINK (short teleport), HODL (1 s shield that reflects shots), HOMING SHILL (slow missile that follows the nearest Pepe), PUMP (dash that shoves anyone in the way), GAS CLOUD (slowing cloud). 3 ranks each; cooldowns 1-10 s; no instant kills; no stun over 1 s.

Controls: WASD/arrows with a little slide, Q E R F to cast at the cursor, 1-6 or click in the shop. Phone: thumb stick plus taps.

Bots: swarm casters drawn with the influencer and kol sprites; they aim, dodge and buy spells, smarter each round.

Rewards: about 10 $SWARM per round won and 3 per knockout, capped at 120 a run.

Win: most rounds won (ties: most knockouts). An idle player must always lose.

Must not: no names, art or spell names from other games; no stunlocks; the shop always shows what each spell and rank does.

Saved three medium findings in .imd-findings.json: interrupted shop clicks, lost held movement, and incorrect BLINK rendering.

Reviewed all 46 exported files. No critical/high hosting findings. Tests, checks, simulations, and browser checks passed. Site files remain unchanged.

    • mediumKeep shop buttons mounted while pointer clicks are in progressdist/games/lava-ring/client.js:118

Every lrs snapshot calls panel() (line 33), and panel replaces all shop buttons every 100 ms. If a snapshot arrives between pointerdown and pointerup, the pressed button has been detached and its click handler never runs. Ordinary clicks/taps therefore intermittently fail to buy spells; a press lasting longer than one update always fails.

The spell-selection buttons are rebuilt the same way at line 107, also interrupting selection on phones. Preserve the interactive elements and update their labels/disabled state in place. This is an advisory gameplay defect, not unsafe hosted content.

Open engine/play.html?game=lava-ring&autostart=1 on the built site and reach the first shop with at least 20 gold.

Press the enabled RUG YANK button, hold the pointer down for 180 ms, then release without moving.

Expected: buy rank 1 and deduct 20 gold.

Actual in Chromium: rank stays 0 and gold stays 21.

Pressing keyboard 1 immediately afterwards buys rank 1 and changes gold to 1, confirming that the purchase was allowed and only pointer activation was lost.

    • mediumPreserve held movement input when a fight startsdist/games/lava-ring/rules.js:39

nextRound clears every fighter's dx/dy, but the host sends dir only when the held direction changes (dist/engine/host.js:223). The game never resends the currently held direction at a round transition. Round.handle also discards direction messages during the initial countdown.

Holding a movement key or a stationary thumb stick before a fight starts therefore leaves the authoritative fighter stationary until input is released and pressed again. Meanwhile client prediction moves the displayed Pepe away from its real position, so shots and damage no longer align with what the player sees.

      Open engine/play.html?game=lava-ring&mode=coop&bots=3&autostart=1.

During the countdown, hold D, press Enter to start, and keep holding D for another 2.4 seconds.

In Chromium, __kit.keys still contains d, but __kit.server.round.g.fighters.get(1) has dx=0, dy=0 and stays at (32,24.7), while __kit.me is displayed around (33.95,23.05).

Release and press D again: authoritative movement immediately starts.

The same loss occurs if A is held during the 15-second shop and remains held when round 2 begins: dx/dy become zero despite A remaining pressed.

Expected: the held direction continues into the fight and displayed and authoritative movement agree.

    • mediumApply BLINK and knockback displacement to the predicted player positiondist/games/lava-ring/client.js:15

The client enables the host's free-movement predictor (line 166), but incoming positions only call world.move, which updates interpolation targets. While a movement key is held, the host predictor bypasses interpolation and advances the displayed Pepe independently. Consequently BLINK changes the authoritative position without moving the displayed Pepe.

A discrepancy of 2.5–6 tiles makes the predictor freeze the sprite instead of applying the teleport; movement, collisions and casts continue at the unseen authoritative position. Knockback and PUMP use the same uncorrected position path. Reconcile forced displacement explicitly, or use prediction that incorporates the game's displacement mechanics.

In the built LAVA RING page, use an alive fighter with rank-1 BLINK in E, at (27,27), with no nearby attacks and round 1's full arena.

This can be isolated through __kit.server.round.g.fighters.get(1) by setting x/y to 27, slots[0]=1 and ranks[1]=1, then synchronizing __kit.me.x/y to 27.

After the fight has started, hold D+S (movement along +x), and send __kit.server.message(1,{t:"lrcast",slot:1,x:32,y:27}).

Expected: the displayed Pepe immediately blinks three tiles forward and keeps walking.

Actual Chromium reproduction: before the cast the server/display x positions were 27.54/27.76; 250 ms afterwards they were 31.44/27.88, and after another 300 ms 32.52/27.88.

The displayed sprite froze while the authoritative fighter kept moving.

Releasing the movement keys finally lets the sprite interpolate toward the real position.
