1.infoPAYOUT_RESERVE NatSpec still describes the pre-round-4 rule ('below this much IMD in the PoolManager') while _payFees keys the opening exception on the pool's own IMD plus the buy's feesrc/PleaHook.sol:83

- **The opening buys: while this pool's own IMD (the market band and the wall before the swap, plus the hook's claims) plus the buy's own IMD fee is under 2 IMD (`PAYOUT_RESERVE`)**, a buy's unfunded cashback, owner and prize shares join pool liquidity instead of reverting; no flag, so no dust buy can use the exception up. It is a live condition, not a latch, and covers only shares the PoolManager cannot pay at that moment (it holds less IMD than they come to). The 2 IMD test counts only the pool's own IMD, never the PoolManager's balance (round 3, R3-A3-1: a router could flash-take it inside its own unlock), so a drained PoolManager only makes that router's swap revert at the hook's take. **A later buy larger than about 57× the pool's own IMD** pays those shares as ERC-6909 IMD claims on the PoolManager to the same beneficiaries (`CashbackPaidClaims`; Seasons redeems its own at a close; a wallet needs a contract that unlocks, burns and takes to redeem; no sIMD for that buy). Only the
3.infoREADME 'Design notes' bullet still describes the opening exception as a first-buy flag keyed on the PoolManager's IMD, contradicting README 'Fees', THREAT-MODEL section 3 and _payFeesREADME.md:342
- **The very first buy** after trading opens may find no IMD in the PoolManager yet. That one trade's cashback, owner and prize shares then go to pool liquidity instead of reverting (a buy whose fee rounds to zero does not count as that first buy). A later buy larger than about 57× the IMD the PoolManager holds at that moment is paid those shares as ERC-6909 IMD claims instead (the swapper's input settles after the hook runs); the owner's own first buy right after `seed` keeps that to the opening minutes.
4.info_applyCap names the post-swap price priceBefore, while afterSwap and _payFees use that name for the genuine pre-swap price from transient storagesrc/PleaHook.sol:791
uint160 priceBefore = currentSqrtPriceX96();
In _applyCap the local priceBefore is read with currentSqrtPriceX96() after the swap has executed (afterSwap calls _applyCap once the fill is known), so it is the price the swap left; it measures the market's PLEA holdings for the ratchet and the trim and anchors the PriceMoved check after the liquidity removal. afterSwap and _payFees use the same identifier for the pre-swap price carried in T_PRICE_BEFORE.
A reader following the cap-ratchet questions can take the trim to be measured against pre-swap holdings; it is measured against post-swap holdings, which is the correct behaviour (a sale's excess exists only after the fill). Naming only, no behaviour or bytecode change. Reported by the math specialist.
Fix: rename to priceAfter or spot.
5.infoREADME and THREAT-MODEL invariant 20 give the launch extra fee as '41.8% of the IMD sent at the open'; with the 2% base fee the extra alone is 40.7% and the whole fee 41.9% (41.8% was the whole fee atREADME.md:83
For the first **90 minutes** after trading opens, buys pay an extra launch fee that falls from 70% to 0% of the IMD that reaches the pool (41.8% of the IMD sent at the open, 0% at the end) and are capped at **5M PLEA** each.
The sentence restates the 70% extra launch fee as a share of the IMD sent: '41.8% of the IMD sent at the open'. With IMD_FEE_BPS = 200 (OWNER_BPS 100 since run 8.5) and LAUNCH_EXTRA_BPS = 7000, beforeSwap takes fee = amount * 7200 / 17200 of an exact-in buy at t = 0, i.e. 41.86% of the IMD sent in all, of which the extra fee is amount * 7000 / 17200 = 40.70% and the base 2% fee the rest.
41.8% is neither: it is the whole fee at the former 1.75% base (7175 / 17175 = 41.78%, R4-A3-5's figure), not updated when the owner's share rose to 1%. audit/THREAT-MODEL.md line 63 (invariant 20) carries the same parenthetical. No agreed number in bold changes (70% to 0%, 90 minutes, 5M PLEA are as coded); a derived figure is stale and labelled as the extra fee alone.
Fix: '(the extra alone is 40.7% of the IMD sent at the open, 41.9% with the 2% base fee)'.

- v4 accounting. Confirmed in
lib/v4-corethatafterSwapreceives the pool's fill before hook deltas, so the hook'sspecAmtis the realised fill. For exact input the hook's fee isa·r/(B+r)and the fill-based due⌈a·B/(B+r)⌉·r/Bis always ≥ that fee, so a full fill never refunds. For exact output the due is ≤ the reserved fee by at most 1 wei. Both held in a fuzz over both currency orderings (exact-in buys, exact-out sells, exact-out buys after the death). All four ofbuy, specifiedIsImd,specifiedIsZeroand the return deltas map correctly in both orderings. - Fee split. The floor-divided cashback, owner and prize shares sum to at most the IMD fee; the remainder, including the launch extra, goes to pool liquidity. Sells can never reach the claims path since the pool's own IMD before the swap always covers 1.75% of its own output.
- Opening at 20,000 IMD. Measured on the mainnet build in both orderings: the band aligns to tick ±108,180 and opens at 20,046 IMD, 0.23% above the stated cap, inside the agreed 0.6%. A near-5M PLEA buy at the open against an Ethereum-like PoolManager (259,000 IMD of other pools) pays 1.73 IMD of payouts, under the 2 IMD reserve, so once the pool holds 2 IMD no window buy can hit the claims path.
- Cap ratchet and trims. Verified the remainder bookkeeping conserves time exactly, and fuzzed 24-step random sequences of buys, sells, trims and rebalances with gaps up to 3 days: the cap never rose, never went under 900k or under the holdings, and never fell faster than the daily pace counted from the seed time. The wall's single-sided liquidity can never ask for more IMD than the reserve, with or without the one-per-million margin, so
rebalancecannot be bricked that way. - Wall guard, checkpoints, basis. The guard's 700-tick pace, one-day idle cap and remainder are exact in both orderings; the checkpoint records the pre-swap price from transient storage; the basis update scales the IMD spent proportionally on sells and uses the fill, not the request, on partial fills.

The review of area A3 (PleaHook, IStacker) is complete. The findings file holds two Info items and nothing higher.
Outcome. No Critical, High, Medium or Low defect found in the hook on this commit. The two findings are documentation mismatches, written to
.imd-findings.jsonwith exact snippets:- PleaHook.sol line 83: the NatSpec on the 2 IMD reserve still says "IMD in the PoolManager", while the code since R3-A3-1 tests the pool's own IMD plus the buy's fee.
- README.md line 342: the closing Notes bullet still describes a "first buy" flag and a 57× threshold measured on the PoolManager's balance, contradicting README line 193, THREAT-MODEL section 3 and the code.
What I verified. Invariants 19 to 22 of the threat model, plus the mainnet-specific checks the task names:
- The opening at 20,000 IMD aligns to tick −108,180, giving a 20,046 IMD cap (0.23% above, inside the accepted 0.6%), in both currency orderings.
- The largest launch-window buy at the open (4.9875M PLEA for 173.46 IMD gross) pays 1.7648 IMD of owner, cashback and prize shares, under the 2 IMD reserve. The owner's 2 IMD opening buy closes the exception at this cap too.
- The fee split: the three floored shares never exceed the floored IMD fee for exact-in and exact-out on both sides, including the launch extra, so the pool share never underflows. OWNER_BPS 100, WALL_GUARD_TICKS_PER_DAY 700 and MARKET_CAP_IMD 20,000 match the agreed numbers in README, THREAT-MODEL, launch.json and the tests.
- Hook accounting after mixed buys and a rebalance: the hook's IMD equals retainedImd and its claims equal retainClaims; nothing else is stuck.
- The cap ratchet (only down, allowance in PLEA-seconds with a carried remainder, floors at holdings and 900k), trims (floored to the excess, IMD to the wall), the wall guard pacing and the drained-tick rule, the trader rule's exclusions and dirty-word handling, the Stacker allowance per credit, and the gas reserves (creditGas plus 1M, the 63/64 margin).
- Live chain reads over the local RPC: the mainnet Stacker, IMD and PoolManager hold code, the Stacker's SIMD vault resolves, and the PoolManager holds about 258,600 IMD, so the claims path stays confined to the opening minutes as documented. README's measured first credit (197k to 249k) fits the 400k creditGas.
- Every A3 fix marked fixed in the ledger: the named regression suites (Hook, HookRevision, HookAdversarial, AuditRound1, MainnetGuard) pass on this commit, 128 tests, both orientations.
Not covered. No fork rehearsal was run against the live Intake, and the Stacker's
creditsource was not re-read beyond the ledger's Sourcify note. My scratch probe stays intest/scratch/Probe.t.sol; its two failing cases are artifacts of my own inputs (launch-cap-sized fuzz amounts at the open, and the documented claims path on an empty PoolManager), not defects.ran onclaude · claude-fable-5-1 · 27 turns · 19m 22s · 450 in · 45K out · 2M cachedsubmission3dbbd96e5e4934be424c508a9405b4edf4891adac22ee806f7600953b9db7676device03845cacb54c3a737bb490638adf9db97b70c1ddeedd2fd50a31e67223e19ceastarted from571ae8061b5997764287327f2f5139e39c44150dbundlenonePAYOUT_RESERVE NatSpec still describes the pre-R3-A3-1 rule (IMD in the PoolManager) while the code tests the pool's own IMD plus the buy's feesrc/PleaHook.sol:83
The NatSpec above PAYOUT_RESERVE says the exception applies 'below this much IMD in the PoolManager'. Since the round-3 fix R3-A3-1 (and R4-A3-2) _payFees never reads the PoolManager's balance for that decision: it tests
own + imdFee < PAYOUT_RESERVEwhereownis this pool's own IMD before the swap (market band + wall + retainClaims) and the exception also requiresasClaims(own < out and the PoolManager's balance < out).THREAT-MODEL section 3 and README 'Fees' (line 193) describe the current rule; the constant's own comment does not. Documentation only; a comment changes no byte of the creation code (bytecode_hash none, cbor_metadata false). Verified on this commit with a scratch test at the 20,000 IMD cap: the largest launch-window buy (4.9875M PLEA for 173.46 IMD gross) pays 1.7648 IMD of owner, cashback and prize shares, under the 2 IMD reserve, so the agreed number holds.
Read src/PleaHook.sol:83-85 against _payFees (lines 606-616): the comment names the PoolManager's IMD as the measure; the code measures
_imdIn(market, priceBefore) + _imdIn(wall, priceBefore) + retainClaims + imdFee.Expected: the NatSpec states the pool's-own-IMD-plus-fee rule (as THREAT-MODEL section 3 does).
Actual: it states the superseded PoolManager-balance rule.
Fix: reword the comment, no code change.
README 'Notes' bullet still states the opening exception in terms of the PoolManager's IMD and a 'first buy' flag, contradicting README 'Fees', THREAT-MODEL section 3 and the codeREADME.md:342
The last-section bullet says the very first buy 'may find no IMD in the PoolManager', that 'that one trade's' shares go to liquidity, and that a later buy larger than about 57x 'the IMD the PoolManager holds at that moment' is paid in claims.
Since R2-A3-1 and R3-A3-1 there is no first-buy flag (the exception is the live condition own + imdFee < 2 IMD on the pool's own IMD, open to any buy while it holds) and the PoolManager's balance is never the measure (a router could flash-take it; on Ethereum the shared PoolManager holds about 258,600 IMD of other pools, read on chain 2026-10-28, so a 57x-of-PoolManager reading would make the claims path look unreachable at any size while the real threshold is 57x the pool's own IMD, about 2 IMD in the opening minutes).
README line 193 and THREAT-MODEL section 3 state the current rule correctly; this bullet does not. Documentation only.
Compare README.md:342 with README.md:193 and audit/THREAT-MODEL.md section 3 ('The opening buys'), and with src/PleaHook.sol _payFees lines 606-616.
Expected: one description (pool's own IMD before the swap plus the buy's fee, no flag, PoolManager balance only as the second condition).
Actual: the bullet describes the PoolManager's balance and a single first buy.
Fix: reword the bullet to match line 193.

audit/THREAT-MODEL.md:78says the largest launch-window buy's payouts are "under 1.25 IMD". That holds at the 14,000 IMD floor. At the 20,000 IMD opening a 172 IMD buy (4.945M PLEA) paid 1.75 IMD, about 1.77 at the full 5M. That agrees with the 1.76 inFINDINGS.md. The 2 IMD reserve still covers it, but the stated margin is wrong.
What I checked and found sound
- Agreed numbers: all unchanged from invariants 19 to 22. That covers the fee shares (adding up to 2.25%), the launch window, the cap and its daily pace, the 700-tick wall guard, the 1M gas reserve, the 48 hourly checkpoints and the 20,000 IMD opening.
- The opening at 20,000: both token orderings land at about 20,047 IMD, within the documented one-tick-spacing (0.6%) margin. After the launch owner's 2 IMD buy, the pool holds 1.999999999999999999 IMD.
- v4 accounting: the deltas balance for exact-input and exact-output trades in both orderings. Fees are charged only on what filled, and the shares can't add up to more than the fee. Partial fills refund correctly, and exact-output trades fill whole or revert.
- Claims: IMD claims, PLEA claims and their burn at
rebalanceare all accounted for. - PLEA can't escape the gate: while the Cabal lives, no outside caller can get PLEA claims or a positive PLEA balance in the PoolManager, so nobody can sell through a hookless pool.
- Trader rule: dirty upper bits and every excluded recipient are handled. A router that lies in
hookDataormsgSender()only redirects its own users' cashback. - Cashback: the Stacker is approved for one credit's amount and nothing more, never the wall reserve. A swap without enough gas reverts rather than skipping the credit.
- Cap and trims: the cap only falls, never faster than its daily allowance, never below what the market holds or 900k PLEA. A trim burns only the excess plus fees.
- Wall and checkpoints: the wall is never placed above the guard, the guard rises at most 700 ticks a day, and each hour's checkpoint records the price the first trade found.
- Access: every entry point and hook callback (
seed, the PoolManager callbacks, unlockCallback, rebalance, fundWall) is guarded as its role requires. Donations to the hook's positions are swept into the wall or burned.

THREAT-MODEL section 3 still says the largest launch-window buy's payouts are 'under 1.25 IMD'; at the mainnet 20,000 IMD opening they are about 1.76 IMDaudit/THREAT-MODEL.md:78
The opening-buys paragraph justifies the 2 IMD PAYOUT_RESERVE with '(the window caps a swap at 5M PLEA, whose payouts, 1.75% of its fill, are under 1.25 IMD)'. That figure holds at the 14,000 IMD floor (1.23 IMD). The mainnet commit opens at MARKET_CAP_IMD = 20,000 (src/PleaHook.sol:87), where a 5M PLEA buy fills about 100.6 IMD and its 1.75% payouts are about 1.76 IMD (FINDINGS.md line 177 records 1.76).
The 2 IMD reserve still exceeds it, so behaviour is unchanged. The margin is smaller than the threat model states: after the launch owner's 2 IMD opening buy, the pool's own IMD is 1.999999999999999999 IMD on an empty PoolManager, and about 1.98 IMD on Ethereum, where that buy's 0.02 IMD payouts leave the pool.
Fix: state 1.76 IMD at the 20,000 opening (1.23 at the 14,000 floor).
Fixture with the launch window kept (afterSeed overridden).
A wallet buys 2e18 IMD exact-in right after seed: hook.imdInMarket() + hook.retainClaims() = 1999999999999999999.
Then bob buys 172e18 IMD exact-in: IMD basis 100e18 (172e18*10000/17200), 4,945,161 PLEA out, owner fee exactly 1e18, so the payouts (cashback + owner + prize, 1.75%) are 1.75 IMD for 4.945M PLEA and about 1.77 IMD at the full 5M cap, not under 1.25 IMD as THREAT-MODEL.md:78 states.

Outcome: no code defect in PleaHook for area A3. Two documentation discrepancies are recorded as Info in
.imd-findings.json. No Critical, High, Medium or Low.What I checked, with tests run on this commit (both currency orderings):
- The 20,000 IMD opening. The pool opens at 20,046.44 IMD, one 60-tick spacing above the setting as section 3 allows, in both orderings. The largest launch-window buy (5M PLEA, 173 IMD gross at t=0) pays 1.760 IMD of owner, prize and cashback shares, under the 2 IMD reserve. With a PoolManager holding Ethereum's 259,490 IMD the payouts are taken, never minted as claims.
- Fee split. I derived that the floor-divided shares never exceed the IMD fee for exact-in and exact-out on both sides, including the specified-fee cap, and that the burn is 0.25% of the PLEA leg. OWNER_BPS 100, 2.25% in all, 700 ticks a day, 15-day cap pace, 900k floor, 5M cap, 90-minute window and 2 IMD reserve all match the agreed numbers.
- v4 accounting. Deltas net to zero for the alive buy (whole PLEA output taken and delivered as ERC-20), sells, exact-output fills whole or
PartialFill, refunds after payouts. - Cap and wall. A one-day gap drops the cap by exactly the daily allowance and never below the holdings; a second buy in the same second drops nothing more. A PLEA or IMD donation to the pool is burned or moved to the wall at the next trim with supply plus burned conserved and no stranded claims. The hook's IMD balance equals
retainedImdafter trades and rebalances. The guard's rise stayed bounded byrefTick. - Regression suites for the A3 fixes (HookRevision, AuditRound1, MainnetGuard, HookAdversarial): 116 tests passed, so R7-A3-1, R7-A3-2, R8-A3-1, R8-A3-I and R3-A3-1 hold.
THREAT-MODEL invariants checked: 19, 20, 21, 22, and the section 3 items on the opening exception, the claims path, the cap banking, the wall hint and the flash-taken PoolManager.
The two findings:
- THREAT-MODEL section 3, line 78 still says the largest window buy's payouts are "under 1.25 IMD". On this build they are 1.76 IMD. The ledger already says 1.76, so the two documents disagree. The 2 IMD reserve still covers it.
- PAYOUT_RESERVE NatSpec, PleaHook.sol:83 describes the rule as "IMD in the PoolManager", while the code keys the exception on the pool's own IMD plus the buy's fee since the round-3 fix.
Limits. Each compile took five to seven minutes, so I ran two probe batches rather than more. The wall-guard pace test showed the guard bounded by

I ran a scratch suite at the 20,000 IMD opening in both orderings and the hook-area regression suites under the full profile.
Check Result Opening market cap at 20,000 20,046.44 IMD in both orderings, one spacing above, as section 3 allows Largest launch-window buy at t = 0 173 IMD in, 4.97M PLEA out, payouts 1.760 IMD, under the 2 IMD reserve Ethereum-like PoolManager (259,490 IMD) the opening exception never fires, everyone is paid normally Hook, HookRevision, AuditRound1, MainnetGuard suites 103 tests pass, all A3 fixes hold Findings kept (all Info, documentation only, duplicates merged):
- The PAYOUT_RESERVE NatSpec still describes the pre-round-4 PoolManager-balance rule, while the code keys on the pool's own IMD plus the buy's fee. Four specialists reported this; reproduced with a 10 IMD first buy into an empty PoolManager paying claims.
- THREAT-MODEL section 3 says the largest window buy's payouts are under 1.25 IMD; at this commit's 20,000 opening they are 1.76 IMD, as FINDINGS line 177 already records. Two specialists, merged.
- The README design-notes bullet on the very first buy still describes a first-buy flag and the PoolManager's IMD, contradicting the README Fees section and the threat model.
- The local variable in the cap routine named as the pre-swap price is the post-swap price. Naming only.
- My own addition: the "41.8% of the IMD sent" figure for the launch extra fee is stale since the owner fee rose to 1%. The extra alone is 40.7% and the whole fee is 41.9%.
No specialist attached a proof, and none of the kept findings is Critical or High, so no proof files are attached. The scratch test lives in test/scratch and is not kept.

THREAT-MODEL section 3 still gives the 14,000 IMD figure for the largest launch-window buy's payouts ('under 1.25 IMD'); at this commit's 20,000 IMD opening they are 1.76 IMD (still under the 2 IMD reaudit/THREAT-MODEL.md:78
README 'Design notes' bullet still describes the opening exception as a first-buy flag keyed on the PoolManager's IMD, contradicting README 'Fees', THREAT-MODEL section 3 and _payFeesREADME.md:342
_applyCap names the post-swap price priceBefore, while afterSwap and _payFees use that name for the genuine pre-swap price from transient storagesrc/PleaHook.sol:791
README and THREAT-MODEL invariant 20 give the launch extra fee as '41.8% of the IMD sent at the open'; with the 2% base fee the extra alone is 40.7% and the whole fee 41.9% (41.8% was the whole fee atREADME.md:83
