Build SQUEEK LOGISTICS, a playable pixel-art logistics/economic simulation for Squeekchain Genesis. This must be a real GAME, not a dashboard, explorer, API wrapper, landing page, template or mockup.

GAME LOOP: Start with a small warehouse, limited credits/resources. Gather Wood, Stone, Metal; build/upgrade warehouse, sawmill, quarry, metalworks, workshop and cargo depot; queue production with costs/timers; create shipments; choose routes, vehicle capacity and delivery time; fulfill contracts for in-game credits, XP and reputation; reinvest and expand. Include inventory, upgrades, production queue, shipment tracking, contract board, tutorial, progression goals and save/load. Balance costs/rewards. Original mechanics/art, not a clone.

REAL SQUEEKCHAIN INTEGRATION: Use Ethereum Sepolia chainId 11155111 and official sources:

https://docs.squeekchain.com/developers/

https://docs.squeekchain.com/developers/api/

https://docs.squeekchain.com/sepolia.json

Read GET https://api.squeekchain.com/v1/core. Validate schema/status and verify chain + SqueekCore identity against official deployment record. Official Sepolia SqueekCore: 0xFD6C166D4B8E2962E65746A13E5a0797CD4dE0c4.

Use settled SqueekCore blockHeight/settledThroughRound/cumulativeWork for GLOBAL milestones unlocking routes, buildings and regions. Example game thresholds: 100/250/500/1000 settled Squeek blocks (game rules, not official milestones). Only settled blocks unlock permanent content; label live/projected work separately. Show source and sync time. If unavailable/stale, show UNKNOWN, never zero or stale data as current. Handle errors, ETag and 429 Retry-After.

Never invent ABIs, addresses, methods or chain results. No mainnet claims, token launch, fake SQK rewards, wallet signing or transactions. In-game credits are off-chain points with no monetary value.

QUALITY: Polished pixel-art/isometric hamster industrial world, responsive desktop/mobile UI, real resource strategy, production timers, routes, contracts, feedback, tutorial and versioned local saves with reset/export; do not claim cloud saves without backend. Implement real mechanics, not static screens. Handle loading/error/empty states; no secrets in client.

TESTS + GENESIS RULES:

Test economy, production, shipments, save/load, milestone thresholds and unavailable API. Add README with controls, rules, integration and limitations. Build a distinct useful game people can play; no clone, read-only dashboard, thin API wrapper or low-effort Aura farming. Run game/tests, fix critical bugs, and report tested features, real Sepolia verification evidence and anything incomplete. Never claim unverified success.

  3. Design criticAgent #1059found 2 medium, 2 low

I found no high-severity problems. The game loop and the Squeekchain integration both work, and I wrote four findings to .imd-findings.json: two medium, two low. The site's test suite did not run: dependencies aren't installed and the check profile is "none". I changed no tracked file.

    What I checked myself

    • Live API: a direct request to api.squeekchain.com/v1/core returned 200 with an ETag. Chain 11155111, SqueekCore 0xfd6c…e0c4, 2,115 settled blocks, round 604.
    • Verified path: I fed the live response to the built site in Chromium and WebKit at 390 wide. Both showed "Verified API state" with 2,119 blocks, round 605 and work 19,544. All four milestones unlocked, and the routes opened in the dispatch picker.
    • Unavailable path: I couldn't test the browser talking to the API directly; this machine's network blocks it. With the API blocked, the page showed UNKNOWN with no zeros, and the game stayed playable.
    • Main loop in WebKit at 390: gather wood → contract → dispatch on Meadow lane by handcart → wait 19s → collect. Credits went from 120 to 168, with no page errors.
    • Brief's deployment link: docs.squeekchain.com/sepolia.json returns 404. The site uses /assets/deployments/sepolia.json, which returns 200. That's the docs site's problem, not a finding.

    Requirements (all met)

    • The game: a playable game, not a dashboard; start with a small warehouse and 120 credits (src/game.ts:65); gather wood, stone and metal (src/App.tsx:196).
    • Buildings and production: build and upgrade all six buildings (src/game.ts:8-15); a production queue with costs and timers, three batches per building (src/game.ts:133-144).
    • Shipments and contracts: routes, vehicle capacity and delivery time in the dispatch dialog (src/App.tsx:218); contracts pay credits, XP and reputation; inventory, shipment tracking, contract board, tutorial, goals and save/load are all there; original pixel-art map (src/World.tsx).
    • Integration: Sepolia 11155111 with schema, status and identity checks against the official record (src/integration/core.ts:24-36). Settled data drives the 100/250/500/1000 milestones (src/game.ts:38-43, 212-220). Live/projected work is labelled "Never used for unlocks" (src/App.tsx:171). It shows the source and sync times, says UNKNOWN when data is missing or stale, and handles ETag, 429/503 and Retry-After (src/integration/core.ts:62-77).
    • Honesty and quality: no wallet, token, mainnet claim or secrets; credits are stated to have no monetary value (src/App.tsx:212). No horizontal scroll at any probed width. Versioned local saves with export, import and typed RESET; no cloud claim. Empty, loading and error states are present.
    • Tests and docs: tests exist in tests/game.test.ts and tests/integration.test.ts, but I did not run them. The README covers controls, rules, integration and limitations. Its claim that WebKit is unverified is out of date: WebKit worked in my run.
    • Hosting: after review.

    Findings

    1. Medium, bug: after you tap a button, the result or error message appears 1342px down a 844px-tall screen at 390 wide, so you never see it (src/App.tsx:203). The fix is to move it under the gather buttons, or make it sticky on phones.
    2. Medium, taste: each tab opens with a slogan pair instead of the tab's name, and the Outpost tab stacks three two-beat slogans. The fix is to make the headings "Outpost", "Buildings", "Contracts", "Shipments" and "Genesis milestones", delete the subtitles and the sidebar note, and change the opening message to "Ready when you are." (src/App.tsx:193).
    3. Low, bug: whe

    • mediumbug: action feedback and errors render 1342px down at 390, out of sight of the button that caused themsrc/App.tsx:203

Now: every action result, including refusals such as "Storage is full..." or "Your gathering crew is busy...", is written only to the .feedback status line, which sits after the gather toolbar, the world map, the building panel and the work queue in . At 390 a visitor who taps a button never sees the message.

Change to: render the .feedback element directly under .gather-toolbar on the Outpost view (move the line at App.tsx:203 to sit after the gather-toolbar div at App.tsx:196 for view outpost, and directly under .page-heading on other views), or make .feedback position: sticky; bottom: 12px on screens under 768px so it stays in view.

Why: the brief asks for feedback and for loading/error states to be handled, and an error only screen readers can find does not tell a sighted player why nothing happened.

Width 390x844, Chromium and WebKit, fresh save, served dist/.

      Tap "Gather wood".

Measured: .feedback getBoundingClientRect().top = 1342.75px against a viewport height of 844, with text "Crew sent to gather wood.

      No credit cost."

Expected: the message is visible without scrolling.

Actual: it is 500px below the fold, and the same applies to every error from run() at App.tsx:78.

    • lowbug: the UNKNOWN state shows the raw browser error "Failed to fetch" run into the next sentencesrc/integration/core.ts:84

Now: when the Core API cannot be reached, fetch throws TypeError("Failed to fetch") and that message is passed through as the reason. The Genesis panel then reads "Failed to fetch Starter content and previously earned unlocks remain playable.", with no full stop and in browser wording (WebKit says "Load failed" instead).

Change to: map non-GameError network failures to the existing fallback, e.g. reason: error instanceof TypeError || (error as Error)?.name === 'AbortError' ? 'SqueekCore could not be reached.' : (error as Error).message.

Why: the brief asks that unavailable data says UNKNOWN and that errors are handled, and this state should say only what the app knows in its own words.

Width 390, Chromium, serve dist/ with the network to api.squeekchain.com blocked (net::ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED).

      Open the Genesis tab.

Actual text in .unknown-state: "Global state: UNKNOWN / Failed to fetch Starter content and previously earned unlocks remain playable."

Expected: "SqueekCore could not be reached.

Starter content and previously earned unlocks remain playable."

    • mediumtaste: each game view opens with a slogan pair instead of naming the view, three two-beat slogans stacked on the Outpostsrc/App.tsx:193

Now: the H1 and subtitle change per view to slogans ("Your little logistics empire." / "Gather. Make. Deliver.

Do a little more.", "Good neighbors. Better business." / "Load a handcart. Make someone’s day.", "Keep the wheels turning." / "Good cargo.

Smart routes. Happy neighbors."), and the probe counts more on the first screen: "A fresh start. A warehouse.

A world of possibilities." (App.tsx:49) and "Little wheels. Big deliveries."

(App.tsx:190). At 390 the heading block takes about 150px above the tutorial and gather buttons.

Change to: H1 per view "Outpost", "Buildings", "Contracts", "Shipments", "Genesis milestones"; delete the subtitle so the tutorial banner and gather buttons move up about 40px; change the initial feedback text to "Ready when you are." (the string the app already uses at App.tsx:203); delete the .sidebar-note div at App.tsx:190 and let the Squeekchain Genesis button close the sidebar.

Why: inside the game these are working screens, read to get a task done, so headings name the screen; four or more slogans count as a stack.

      Width 390 and 1440, fresh save. taste@1 slogans check: "3 two-beat lines ...

      Gather.

      Make.

      Deliver.

      Do a little more.

      (#main > div.page-heading) / A fresh start.

      A warehouse.

      A world of possibilities.

      (#main > div.feedback) / Little wheels.

      Big deliveries.

      (aside.sidebar > div.sidebar-note)".

Screenshot shots/390.png: H1 wraps to two lines, 32px to 610px, above the tutorial.

    • lowfidelity: a Meadow lane shipment shows its route as "Clover Commons" to "Clover Commons"src/App.tsx:164

Now: the route line in each shipment card prints a fixed origin "Clover Commons" and then route.region. The free starter route, Meadow lane, has region "Clover Commons", so the first delivery every player makes shows a trip from Clover Commons to Clover Commons.

Change to: show the route name as the destination label, i.e. replace {route.region} with {route.name}{route.region !== 'Clover Commons' ? · ${route.region} : ''}.

Why: the brief asks for shipment tracking with chosen routes, and the tracker should show which route was chosen.

      Width 390, WebKit, fresh save.

Contracts > Prepare shipment on "A neighbor in need" > keep Meadow lane and Handcart > Dispatch shipment.

The Shipments view .route-line text reads "Clover Commons ...

Clover Commons" (captured innerText: "Clover Commons\nClover Commons").
