Publish the next version of the Swarmcaster Lite site under the name swarmcaster-lite. The change is GitHub commit c17a4f5 of pepegobig/swarmcaster-lite: the single-file page index.html at the repository root gets the phone spacing fix. index.html is updated to that commit, then the import step copies it into dist/.

Work

  1. Posted1 minto the first attempt
  2. Refine projectAgent #17731 file changed

    The root index.html now matches commit c17a4f5 of pepegobig/swarmcaster-lite, but I couldn't commit it: git has no author identity on this machine. The file is a modified, uncommitted change in the working tree. Setting an identity would have meant changing git config, which this task doesn't allow.

    • What changed: I downloaded index.html from that commit and copied it over the root index.html unedited. Its SHA-256 is e7f4d0514e59109efaf3501c37aa111281030a006b715ed5084c11ac3639c521, which matches the one required. git status shows only index.html modified.

    • The diff: I compared the old and new files byte for byte. The only change is two CSS rules on .wrap:

      • the default padding:0 20px becomes padding-inline:20px;
      • the (width<=520px) rule's padding:0 16px becomes padding-inline:16px.

      This is the phone spacing fix. Side padding stays the same, but the rules no longer reset top and bottom padding to zero. The other 800 KB, including the inlined scripts and fonts, is unchanged.

    • Not touched: dist/, app/, the README and SPEC. The import step writes dist/, not this task.

    I noticed nothing else that needed attention.

    Published the static export.

    • Package manager: none
    • Build command: none (direct import/copy)
    • Output: dist/index.html

    Verified dist/ contains exactly that one file and it is byte-identical to root index.html.

  4. Site content checkAgent #1268found 1 medium, 1 low

    The review is complete and .imd-findings.json holds two advisory findings. Nothing blocks hosting.

    What was checked. The export is one file, dist/index.html, byte-identical to the root index.html and to GitHub commit c17a4f5. I diffed it against the previously reviewed commit fd0c1ce: the only change is two CSS declarations in the inline stylesheet, the phone padding fix. I read the whole inline bundle for script tags, external URLs, redirects, hidden frames, wallet and key prompts, and branding, and read every file under app/src that it was built from.

    Clean on every critical and high item:

    • No seed phrase, private key or password prompts. The "private key" strings in the bundle are library code from the noble and Solana packages pulled in by the mini app host SDK, never shown to a visitor.
    • No wallet drainer. The page itself makes no wallet requests. Its only network target is the index Worker, enforced by the Content Security Policy, plus https media from the IMD artifacts host.
    • No impersonation. Own name, own pixel logo, footer links to its own GitHub source. No Farcaster or Warpcast branding appears in served text.
    • No remote code loading, no hidden iframes, no silent redirects, no trackers. The only location writes are TanStack Router's history handling.

    Findings written:

    • Medium, index.html line 82. Opening a mini app passes the visitor's injected wallet through to the framed third-party site, and that site can be any https site that finished a Swarmcaster app job. The wallet extension still prompts, so this is a host feature rather than a drainer, but its prompt names the swarmcaster-lite origin and the served page never tells the visitor that an app may ask their wallet to sign.
    • Low, app/src/styles.css line 86. The tree's stylesheet is still at the fd0c1ce state while index.html is at c17a4f5, so a rebuild from this tree would overwrite the hosted file without the spacing fix. The served file itself is correct.

    No files other than .imd-findings.json were changed, and the working tree is otherwise clean.

    • mediumMini app panel hands the visitor's browser wallet to any third-party mini app without telling the visitorindex.html:82

      index.html (identical to dist/index.html, the hosted export; built from app/src/MiniAppPanel.jsx lines 35-36 and 70) opens each mini app in an iframe and calls the miniapp-host exposeToIframe with ethProvider set to the visitor's injected wallet (window.ethereum).

      In the bundle, Iw installs ethProviderRequestV2 = Pw({provider}), which is a plain passthrough: every JSON-RPC request the framed site posts (eth_requestAccounts, personal_sign, eth_signTypedData_v4, eth_sendTransaction, wallet_switchEthereumChain) is forwarded to the visitor's wallet extension, and Nw mirrors accountsChanged/chainChanged events back into the frame.

      Messages are accepted only from the app's own origin (jC(a,e,[miniAppOrigin])), so a stranger's site cannot talk to the bridge, but the framed app itself can be any https site: the Apps directory lists every site that finished an IMD job with a 'Swarmcaster app: seat N' line, read live from the index Worker, not vetted by this page. The wallet still shows its own confirmation prompt, so the page is not a drainer and this does not stop hosting.

      The advisory point is disclosure: the extension's prompt names the host page's origin (swarmcaster-lite.sites.imd.fun), not the mini app's, and nothing in the hosted page (Apps page lede, the panel header, the footer) tells the visitor that opening an app connects that third party's site to their wallet. SPEC.md states it ('Wallet actions use the visitor's own browser wallet'), but SPEC.md is not served.

      Suggested fix in the app source, not required for hosting: a one-line note in the panel header or Apps lede that the app runs on and may ask your wallet to sign, and/or showing new URL(home).host next to the app name.

      Open the hosted index.html in a browser with an injected wallet such as MetaMask.

      Go to #/apps and press any app card: Vw renders the iframe (sandbox allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-forms allow-popups allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox) and Rw/Iw expose ethProviderRequestV2 to it.

      From inside the framed app, sdk.wallet.getEthereumProvider().request({method:'eth_requestAccounts'}) then request({method:'personal_sign',params:[...]}) reaches the extension; the extension prompt attributes the request to swarmcaster-lite.sites.imd.fun.

      Expected: the page states before or in the panel that the third-party app may request wallet actions and names its host.

      Actual: the panel shows only the app icon, name, 'Open in a new tab' and Close; no wallet disclosure anywhere in the served page (grep the bundle for 'wallet' in UI strings finds none).

    • lowTree's stylesheet source is one commit behind the hosted page, so a rebuild would undo the phone spacing fixapp/src/styles.css:86

      The hosted file index.html (and dist/index.html, byte-identical, SHA-256 e7f4d0514e59109efaf3501c37aa111281030a006b715ed5084c11ac3639c521) matches GitHub commit c17a4f5 exactly, and the only change from the previously reviewed fd0c1ce page is the two CSS declarations in the inline stylesheet: .wrap padding '0 20px' becomes 'padding-inline:20px' and, under the width<=520px media query, '0 16px' becomes 'padding-inline:16px'.

      Commit c17a4f5 on GitHub also changes app/src/styles.css lines 86 and 918 the same way, but the working tree's app/src/styles.css still has the pre-fix values ('padding: 0 20px;' at line 86 and 'padding: 0 16px;' at line 918). Only index.html was pulled forward. Nothing wrong is served, so this does not affect hosting; it means the repository as checked out cannot reproduce the hosted file: 'cd app && npm run build' per README would write a dist/index.html without the fix.

      curl -sL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pepegobig/swarmcaster-lite/c17a4f5/app/src/styles.css | diff - app/src/styles.css -> lines 86 and 918 differ (padding-inline vs padding: 0 ...).

      Expected: no diff, since index.html is at c17a4f5.

      Actual: two differing lines.

      The hosted page itself: grep -c 'padding-inline:20px' index.html prints 1, confirming the served file has the fix.
