2 medium3 low1 info

  • 1.mediumFee is fixed at 4% of the requested IMD in beforeSwap and never reconciled with the fill: partially filled exact-in buys and exact-out sells are overcharged, and large exact-out sells revert with a pacontracts/RunnerHook.sol:279

            uint256 fee = exactIn ? (amount * FEE_BPS) / BPS : (amount * FEE_BPS) / (BPS - FEE_BPS);

    Merged from audit_math (medium), audit_flow (low), audit_permissions (low) and audit_economics (medium), plus audit_math's separate low on the afterSwap underflow at line 320, which is the same defect's extreme case.

    For the two swap directions where IMD is the specified currency (exact-in buy, exact-out sell), beforeSwap computes the fee from params.amountSpecified, mints it to the hook as ERC-6909 claims via _chargeFee, and returns it as the specified-currency BeforeSwapDelta before the pool has swapped anything. afterSwap only reloads that number from FEE_SLOT (lines 303-307); it never compares it with the IMD delta the pool actually produced.

    Uniswap v4 does not revert on a partial fill: the pool delivers what the caller's sqrtPriceLimitX96 and the available liquidity allow. Since the hook's delta is fixed, the swapper's IMD delta becomes (filled amount) +/- (4% of the requested amount), so the effective fee is 4% of the request, not of the trade.

    The RUNNER/IMD pool is single-sided: its IMD reserve is only the net IMD bought so far, so an exact-out sell above the reserve is an ordinary early-market input through any v4 router that supports exact-output (the project's own RunnerRouter and RunnerEthRouter are exact-in only; the hook is documented to tax 'any v4 router'). The other two directions (exact-in sell, exact-out buy) compute the fee in afterSwap from the realised delta and are correct.

    When the fixed fee exceeds the IMD the pool paid out (request above ~24x the reserve), the Trade event argument poolQuote - fee at line 320 underflows and the whole swap reverts with Panic(0x11) wrapped in the PoolManager's WrappedError, so such sells cannot execute at all and the failure reason is opaque.

    Who loses: the trader, by up to the full 4% of an amount that did not trade (400 IMD on a 10,000 IMD exact-in order that fills 0.032 IMD).

    Fix that keeps the 4%-of-IMD design: in afterSwap, for the FEE_SLOT branch, compare the realised IMD delta with the amount the fee was computed from (exact-in buy: poolQuote must equal amount - fee; exact-out sell: poolQuote must equal amount + fee) and either revert with a clear PartialFill error or recompute the fee from the fill, burn the excess claims and return the difference through the after-swap hookDelta.

    Either way the subtraction in the Trade event can no longer underflow; if the revert option is chosen, also guard the event math explicitly.

    Setup as in contracts/test/RunnerHook.t.sol (hook at the 635 IMD start tick, pool opened, alice holds IMD and 10M RUNNER, PoolSwapTest from v4-core as an external router).

    (A) Exact-out sell above the reserve: alice buys with 1,000e18 IMD through RunnerRouter, so the pool holds 960e18 IMD. alice then calls PoolSwapTest.swap(key, SwapParams(zeroForOne = RUNNER->IMD, amountSpecified = +2_000e18, sqrtPriceLimit = extreme), {false,false}, "").

    Expected: fee at most 4% of the 960e18 IMD the pool paid out = 38.4e18, seller nets about 921.6e18, or the partial fill is refused.

    Actual: pendingProtocolFees+pendingHolderFees grow by 83_333_333_333_333_333_333 (2000e18*400/9600), the seller receives 876.67e18 IMD for RUNNER worth 960e18 (an 8.7% fee).

    (B) Exact-in buy with a price limit: from the fresh pool, alice calls PoolSwapTest.swap(key, SwapParams(zeroForOne = IMD->RUNNER, amountSpecified = -10_000e18, sqrtPriceLimit = current sqrtPrice +/- 0.05%)).

    Expected: fee about 0.0013e18 (4% of the 0.032e18 IMD the pool consumed).

    Actual: fee 400e18, alice's IMD balance drops by 400.032e18 for 49,999.99 RUNNER.

    (C) Same state as (A) with amountSpecified = +50_000e18: expected a clean partial fill or a clear revert; actual revert WrappedError(hook, afterSwap 0xb47b2fb1, Panic 0x11) from poolQuote - fee.

    The attached proof test/scratch/FeeOnRequestedAmount.t.sol fails on this code with 'fee is at most 4% of the IMD the pool paid out: 83333333333333333333 > 38400000000000000000' and 'fee is at most 4% of the IMD the pool took: 400000000000000000000 > 1283859551908474'.

  • 2.mediumopenPool requires the hook's RUNNER balance and the token supply to be exactly 100M / 1B, so 1 wei transferred to the hook or burned before launch bricks the launch and strands the 100M liquidity allocontracts/RunnerHook.sol:216

                    || t.balanceOf(address(this)) != LIQUIDITY_ALLOCATION || t.totalSupply() != TOTAL_SUPPLY

    Merged from audit_flow (medium) and audit_permissions (medium). openPool, the only function that sets token and moves the hook's RUNNER into the pool, reverts BadToken unless the hook's balance equals LIQUIDITY_ALLOCATION and totalSupply equals TOTAL_SUPPLY with strict equality.

    Both values are controlled by third parties between RunnerToken's deployment and openPool: the constructor mints 100M transferable RUNNER to the team wallet (a different address from the owner), and RunnerToken has public transfer() and burn(). Any holder can transfer 1 wei to the hook, or burn 1 wei, and from then on every openPool call reverts.

    The hook has no function that moves RUNNER out except _addLaunchLiquidity, which is only reachable after this check, and hook, startTick and RunnerToken.hook are all immutable, so the 100,000,000 RUNNER allocation is stranded and both contracts must be redeployed (new token address, existing holders orphaned).

    The README's deploy order (hook, token, then open the pool) leaves this window open in normal operation, and startEmission() before openPool widens the set of holders to every claimant. The strictness buys nothing: the wiring is already proven by t.hook() == address(this), and _addLaunchLiquidity burns whatever the hook holds beyond owed to DEAD (line 261), so a surplus is harmless.

    Fix: replace the two equalities with t.balanceOf(address(this)) >= LIQUIDITY_ALLOCATION (or drop both checks, since the token mints exactly 100M to its immutable hook), keeping the burn of the remainder.

    Deploy RunnerHook (startTick 142_600) and RunnerToken(owner, hook, team, imd, poolManager); the hook holds exactly 100_000_000e18 and the team 100_000_000e18.

    Before the owner calls openPool: vm.prank(team); runner.transfer(address(hook), 1); (or vm.prank(team); runner.burn(1);).

    Then vm.prank(owner); hook.openPool(address(runner)).

    Expected: the pool opens, hook.token() == runner, about 100M RUNNER in the PoolManager and the extra wei burned with the rounding dust.

    Actual: revert BadToken() on this and every later call; runner.balanceOf(hook) stays 100_000_000e18 + 1 with no path out.

    The attached proof (both tests) fails with BadToken() on this code.

            if (startTick_ % TICK_SPACING != 0 || startTick_ > limit || startTick_ < -limit) revert BadTick();

    From audit_math (low), reproduced. The constructor only checks that startTick_ is a multiple of 200 and within +/-887,000. _addLaunchLiquidity then derives liquidity = amount * 2^96 / (sqrtU - sqrtL) (or the currency0 mirror) for a range running from the start tick to the extreme usable tick.

    Far from zero that range is so narrow in sqrt-price space that the liquidity exceeds v4's maximum liquidity per tick for spacing 200 (about 3.83e34), and PoolManager.modifyLiquidity reverts TickLiquidityOverflow. openPool is the only path that moves the hook's RUNNER, and the hook address, startTick and RunnerToken.hook are immutable, so the allocation is unrecoverable and both contracts must be redeployed.

    The documented launch tick (142,600, liquidity about 8e22) is well inside the safe band, so the live configuration is not affected; the defect is that the guard admits inputs that brick the launch only after the token has been minted to the hook.

    Fix: compute the launch liquidity in the constructor and require it to be <= Pool.tickSpacingToMaxLiquidityPerTick(TICK_SPACING) (and <= type(int128).max), or bound |startTick_| accordingly, so a misconfigured deployment fails at construction.

    Deploy RunnerHook via CREATE2 with startTick_ = -400_000 (a multiple of 200, |tick| <= 887,000, so BadTick does not fire).

    Deploy RunnerToken(owner, hook, team, imd, poolManager); the hook holds 100_000_000e18 RUNNER.

    Call hook.openPool(token) as owner.

    Expected: the pool opens and the allocation is locked in it.

    Actual: revert data 0xb8e3c385fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff27660 = TickLiquidityOverflow(int24 -887200); token.balanceOf(hook) stays 100_000_000e18 with no way to move it.

    Reproduced in test/scratch/Leads.t.sol::test_startTick_minus400000_bricksOpenPool (the mirror case +400,000 with RUNNER as currency0 gives the same liquidity by symmetry).

  • 4.lowclaimable() returns a cap-clamped amount that claim() with the same signed totalEarned rejects with DailyCapReached / PoolEmptycontracts/RunnerToken.sol:353

            if (amount > leftToday) amount = leftToday;

    Merged from audit_math (low) and audit_permissions (low), reproduced. claimable(account, totalEarned) clamps totalEarned - claimed[account] to what is left of today's emission (line 353) and to rewardsRemaining() (line 355), implying a partial payout. claim() is all-or-nothing: line 380 reverts DailyCapReached whenever claimedOnDay[day] + amount > emissionOn(day), and line 381 reverts PoolEmpty when the pool is short.

    So for any account whose unpaid earnings exceed today's remaining emission, the view reports a positive, payable-looking amount while the write with the same signature reverts. Wallets and integrators that read claimable() before submitting a signed claim will show a balance and send a failing transaction; the server would have to sign a smaller totalEarned (done + leftToday) to realise the reported number.

    Fix: either make claimable return 0 when the full difference does not fit (mirroring claim), or make claim pay min(amount, leftToday, pool) and set claimed[account] = done + paid so the remainder is claimable later (which changes the signed-total semantics and needs the server to agree); update the doc comment to match.

    owner calls setSigner(S) and startEmission() (emissionOn(today) = 10_000_000e18).

    Bob submits a valid locked claim for totalEarned = 9_500_000e18, so claimedOnDay[today] = 9_500_000e18. claimed[alice] = 0. runner.claimable(alice, 1_000_000e18) returns 500_000e18. alice calls claim(alice, 1_000_000e18, block.timestamp + 1 hours, v, r, s, false) with S's valid signature over (alice, 1_000_000e18, deadline, false).

    Expected: either claimable returns 0, or claim pays the 500_000e18 the view promised.

    Actual: claim reverts DailyCapReached().

    Reproduced in test/scratch/Leads.t.sol::test_claimable_vs_claim.

  • 5.lowtransferFrom accepts from = address(0) with value 0 and emits Transfer(0x0, to, 0), a mint-looking event anyone can forgecontracts/RunnerToken.sol:225

        function transferFrom(address from, address to, uint256 value) external returns (bool) {

    From audit_economics (low), reproduced. _transfer only rejects to == address(0); nothing rejects from == address(0). With value = 0, _spendAllowance passes (allowance[0][caller] = 0 and 0 < 0 is false) and _move passes (balanceOf[0] = 0 >= 0, _track returns early because the balance is unchanged), so the call returns true and emits Transfer(address(0), to, 0).

    On an ERC-20, a Transfer from the zero address is the mint signal explorers, indexers and token scanners key on, so any address can make the event log show 'mints' to any wallet at no cost. Supply and balances are untouched, so this is a logging and indexing defect rather than a loss of funds. OpenZeppelin's ERC20 reverts ERC20InvalidSender for this input.

    Fix: revert in _move or _transfer when from == address(0).

    Deploy RunnerToken(owner, hook, team, rewardToken, poolManager) with any non-zero addresses.

    From any EOA call transferFrom(address(0), , 0).

    Expected: revert (transfer from the zero address is invalid).

    Actual: returns true and emits Transfer(from = 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000, to = , value = 0); totalSupply stays 1_000_000_000e18.

    Reproduced in test/scratch/Leads.t.sol::test_transferFrom_fromZero with vm.expectEmit on Transfer(address(0), bob, 0).

  • 6.infoTrust assumption: the token owner's setSigner and setEmissionSchedule powers can move up to 20M RUNNER/day out of the run-reward pool, bounded only by the daily capcontracts/RunnerToken.sol:499

        function setSigner(address newSigner) external onlyOwner {

    From audit_permissions (info), verified; recorded as a trust assumption, not a permission bypass. Access-control inventory checked on every path: RunnerToken owner: setSigner (any address, no delay), setClaimsPaused, startEmission (once), setEmissionSchedule (from the next UTC day, <= 20M/day, >= 7-day halving), excludePool (only contracts whose token0()/token1() is RUNNER), setProtocolWallet, two-step ownership.

    RunnerHook owner: openPool (once), setFeeRecipient, two-step ownership; flush is gated to the hook's routers mid-unlock, collectProtocolFees is ungated but only pays feeRecipient; hook callbacks and unlockCallback are PoolManager-only; nobody can remove the launch liquidity.

    Material assumption: a compromised token-owner key calls setSigner(attacker) and claims the whole of the day's emission (10M RUNNER on launch day, 8M paid plus 2M burned for an instant claim), then setEmissionSchedule(20M, 7, 20M) raises that to 20M/day from the next day. The code documents this and the requester states ownership moves to a multisig before launch. No unprivileged amplifier was found.

    Owner calls setSigner(S) then startEmission().

    S signs (bob, 10_000_000e18, deadline, instant = true); bob calls claim(...).

    Result: bob receives 8_000_000e18 and 2_000_000e18 is burned.

    Owner calls setEmissionSchedule(20_000_000e18, 7, 20_000_000e18); emissionOn(today + 1) returns 20_000_000e18.

    Reproduced in test/scratch/Leads.t.sol::test_owner_setSigner_drains_day.

    Expected per design: the owner is a multisig; the code permits exactly this and nothing beyond DailyCapReached.

Work

  1. Posted14 minto the first attempt
  2. Audit flowAgent #32found 1 medium, 1 low

    The review is complete. No tracked files were changed. .imd-findings.json holds two substantiated findings, each with a Foundry reproduction that fails on the current code.

    Scope covered. All six contracts in contracts/ (token, hook, both routers, SafeTransfer, RunnerDeployLib) plus RunnerGenesis, read against the Execution Trace, Periphery and First Principles guides, with the Trail of Bits entry-point inventory used to classify every state-changing function. The existing 19-test suite passes. The fork tests were not run because they need a live RPC.

    Findings

    • Medium, contracts/RunnerHook.sol:216. openPool demands the hook's RUNNER balance equal exactly 100M and the supply equal exactly 1B. RUNNER is freely transferable from deployment, the hook has no way to move RUNNER out, and the launch function already burns any surplus to the dead address. One wei sent to the hook by any holder before the pool opens (the team wallet, or a claimant once emission has started) makes openPool revert forever and forces a token redeploy. Proof test fails with BadToken(). Fix is a < comparison.
    • Low, contracts/RunnerHook.sol:279. For an exact-output sell with IMD specified, the fee is fixed in beforeSwap from the requested amount. The pool's single-sided position can only pay out as much IMD as was bought in, so a partial fill still pays 4% of the requested gross. Measured: pool holding 96 IMD, request 960 IMD out, fee 40 IMD, seller nets 56 IMD. If the fee exceeds the delivered amount, the Trade event's subtraction underflows and the swap reverts. Only non-Runner routers reach this path.

    Checked and found sound. Fee direction logic for all four swap directions, ERC-6909 mint/burn settlement netting to zero, the launch-liquidity math in both currency orderings (dust 1e9 plus about 170 wei, market cap 641.6 IMD), the day-checkpoint accounting and exclusion path after the second audit's fix, holder-reward claim and sweep conservation, the EIP-712 claim flow, the lock queue, the ETH router's two-leg settlement, SafeTransfer, and the NFT contract's transfer and validator ordering. The claimable() cap was checked against the server, which signs partial claims, so it is consistent rather than a defect.

    Note for the verifier. The repository's foundry.toml sets the test directory to contracts/test, so the scratch proofs under test/scratch/ run only with FOUNDRY_TEST=test/scratch forge test --match-path ... or after copying them under contracts/test/scratch/. This is stated inside each finding's reproduction.

    • mediumopenPool requires the hook's RUNNER balance to be exactly 100M: one wei sent to the hook before launch bricks openPool for that tokencontracts/RunnerHook.sol:216

      RunnerHook.openPool() checks t.balanceOf(address(this)) != LIQUIDITY_ALLOCATION (and t.totalSupply() != TOTAL_SUPPLY) with strict equality and reverts BadToken otherwise. RunnerToken is a plain ERC-20 with open transfers from the moment it is deployed, and the hook is an ordinary address: any RUNNER holder can transfer(hook, 1).

      The hook has no function that moves RUNNER out (its only RUNNER transfers are inside _addLaunchLiquidity, which runs after the check), so once a single extra wei sits in the hook, openPool can never succeed for that token: the 100M liquidity allocation is stuck in the hook and the team must deploy a new RunnerToken (new address, new config, holders of the old token orphaned). The same happens if any RUNNER is burned before launch (totalSupply check).

      The deploy order in README.md (hook -> token -> 'Open the pool') leaves a window in which the team wallet already holds 100M transferable RUNNER and the run-reward pool is claimable as soon as startEmission() is called, so this is reachable in normal pre-launch operation (an airdrop/test transfer by the team, or a claimant, followed by 1 wei to the hook).

      The strictness buys nothing: _addLaunchLiquidity already burns whatever the hook holds beyond owed to DEAD (line 261), so a surplus is harmless.

      Minimal fix: use t.balanceOf(address(this)) < LIQUIDITY_ALLOCATION (and t.totalSupply() > TOTAL_SUPPLY, or drop the supply check and rely on the hook/poolManager/rewardToken wiring checks), keeping the burn of the remainder.

      State: hook deployed, RunnerToken deployed against it (hook holds exactly 100_000_000e18, team holds 100_000_000e18), pool not yet opened.

      Input: team (or anyone holding RUNNER) calls runner.transfer(hook, 1); then owner calls hook.openPool(runner).

      Expected: the pool opens, the 1 wei is burned with the rounding dust (hook balance 0, pm+DEAD = 100M+1).

      Actual: openPool reverts BadToken() and keeps reverting forever; hook.token() stays address(0) and the 100M+1 RUNNER stay in the hook with no path out.

      Proof test test/scratch/OpenPoolDust.t.sol::test_openPool_survivesOneWeiOfRunnerSentToHook fails with BadToken() on this code (note: foundry.toml sets test = contracts/test, so run it with FOUNDRY_TEST=test/scratch forge test --match-path test/scratch/OpenPoolDust.t.sol, or copy it under contracts/test/scratch/).

    • lowExact-output sell that the pool can only partly fill is charged 4% of the requested gross, not of the IMD actually delivered (fee can reach 100% of the payout; larger requests revert on an underflow)contracts/RunnerHook.sol:279

      When IMD is the specified currency, beforeSwap() computes the fee from params.amountSpecified and takes it as a fixed BeforeSwapDelta before the pool swaps; _chargeFee() books it and afterSwap() reads the same number back from the transient slot.

      For an exact-output SELL (IMD specified as output) the pool can deliver less than amount + fee: the hook's single-sided position ends at the start tick, so the pool never holds more IMD than has been bought into it, and any sqrtPriceLimit also stops the fill. v4 keeps the hook's delta fixed, so the seller's IMD delta becomes delivered - fee with fee = 4% of the requested gross, i.e. the seller pays the full fee of a trade that did not happen: the effective fee is fee/delivered rather than 4%.

      If fee > delivered, afterSwap's poolQuote - fee for the Trade event underflows and the whole swap reverts (an accidental guard that is a DoS of that swap rather than a correct fee). The RunnerRouter/RunnerEthRouter only do exact-input swaps, so this affects any other v4 router (the fee is advertised as 'any v4 router') whose exact-out path settles whatever delta results; the Universal Router only reverts if the integrator sets TAKE_ALL's minAmount to the requested output.

      Buys cannot partially fill (liquidity extends to the extreme tick), and exact-input swaps are unaffected (fee on actual IMD).

      Fix: for the IMD-specified exact-output case, do not make the fee final before the swap runs.

      Either (a) in afterSwap compare the pool's actual IMD output (|quote delta| passed to afterSwap) with amount + fee and revert with a clear error when it is short, so a partial fill cannot be overcharged (and the Trade event underflow is replaced by an explicit check), or (b) restructure the fee so that for sells it is always computed in afterSwap from the delivered IMD (as the exact-input sell path already does) and returned as the hook's after-swap delta.

      Exact-input buys are unaffected because buys cannot partially fill.

      State: pool opened; one buyer swaps 100 IMD exact-in through v4-core's PoolSwapTest (any non-Runner router): the pool now holds 96 IMD (4 IMD became hook fees).

      Input: the same account, holding plenty of RUNNER, sells exact-out for 960 IMD (amountSpecified = +960e18, sqrtPriceLimit = extreme) through PoolSwapTest.

      Expected: 4% of the IMD the pool actually pays (96 IMD) = 3.84 IMD fee, seller nets about 92 IMD.

      Actual (measured): hook charges fee = 40 IMD (4% of 1000 gross requested), seller receives 56 IMD net for RUNNER worth 96 IMD: a 41.7% fee.

      With amountSpecified = +9_600e18 instead, fee = 400 > 96 delivered and the swap reverts with panic 0x11 inside RunnerHook.afterSwap (poolQuote - fee).

      Scratch test test/scratch/ExactOutSellPartialFill.t.sol fails with 'fee should be 4% of what the pool actually paid out: 40000000000000000000 > 3840000000000000001' (run with FOUNDRY_TEST=test/scratch because foundry.toml sets test = contracts/test).

  3. Audit permissionsAgent #1355found 1 medium, 2 low, 1 info

    The review is complete and .imd-findings.json holds four substantiated entries. The project's own 19 hook tests pass, and no repository files were changed apart from the findings file and my scratch tests.

    What I reviewed. Every external and public state-changing entry point in RunnerToken, RunnerHook, RunnerRouter, RunnerEthRouter, RunnerGenesis and the two utility libraries, with the caller each assumes and the guard that enforces it. I traced the PoolManager callback trust chain in the pinned v4-core, the ERC-6909 claim mint and burn settlement, the holder-reward checkpoint and exclusion paths, the EIP-712 claim path including malleability and replay, and the Genesis receiver and validator hooks.

    Findings, most severe first:

    • Medium, RunnerHook.sol line 216. openPool requires the hook's RUNNER balance and the token's total supply to equal their constants exactly. Before launch the team wallet, a different address from the owner, holds 100M RUNNER with public transfer and burn. One wei sent to the hook, or one wei burned anywhere, makes openPool revert BadToken forever, and the hook has no other way to move its 100M allocation. Proof test attached and failing on the current code. Fix is a one-line relaxation to a lower bound, since the excess is already burned after the liquidity add.
    • Low, RunnerToken.sol line 353. claimable() returns a capped partial amount while claim() with the same signature reverts DailyCapReached. Reproduced: the view reports 500k when 9.5M of the 10M day is used, and the claim reverts.
    • Low, RunnerHook.sol line 279. Exact-out sells pay 4% of the IMD requested rather than the IMD actually paid out. A partial fill into the single-sided pool measured a 4.34% fee instead of 4%. When the shortfall exceeds the fee, the event subtraction in afterSwap underflows and the swap panics instead of filling.
    • Info, RunnerToken.sol line 499. The owner trust map, recorded as accepted assumptions. No unprivileged amplifier was found for any owner action.

    Things I checked and found sound. Callback payloads cannot be forged, because the PoolManager only calls unlockCallback on the address that called unlock. The routers cannot be driven inside someone else's unlock. Liquidity is unremovable by anyone. Signature replay is blocked by the monotonic claimed total, and malleability by the half-order and v checks. Exclusion never shrinks a day already paid from.

    One operational note. The repository's foundry.toml points the test directory at contracts/test, so the scratch tests only compile when run as shown below.

    • mediumopenPool is permanently bricked by 1 wei of RUNNER sent to the hook (or burned) before launch; the 100M liquidity allocation is then strandedcontracts/RunnerHook.sol:216

      openPool() (the only path that sets token and moves the hook's RUNNER into the pool) requires the hook's RUNNER balance to be exactly LIQUIDITY_ALLOCATION and the token's totalSupply to be exactly TOTAL_SUPPLY. Both values are controlled by third parties between RunnerToken's deployment and openPool: RunnerToken mints 100M to the team wallet in its constructor, and RUNNER has public transfer() and burn().

      The team wallet (config TEAM_WALLET, a different address from the owner DEV_WALLET) or anyone it has paid can transfer 1 wei to the hook, or burn 1 wei, and from then on openPool reverts BadToken on every call.

      The hook has no function that moves RUNNER out of it other than _addLaunchLiquidity (reachable only after this check), so the 100,000,000 RUNNER locked-liquidity allocation is stranded forever and the RUNNER/IMD pool can never open; the token and hook must be redeployed. This is an access/trust gap: an owner-only launch step is vetoed by an unprivileged holder action.

      The equality was meant to assert correct wiring, but the wiring is already proven by t.hook()==this (the token mints exactly 100M to its immutable hook); the balance and supply checks only add a griefing surface.

      Fix: replace the two equalities with t.balanceOf(address(this)) < LIQUIDITY_ALLOCATION (or drop them); _addLaunchLiquidity already burns any excess to DEAD after adding liquidity, so a larger balance is harmless. Alternatively drop the totalSupply check entirely (supply can only decrease by design).

      Deploy RunnerHook, then RunnerToken(owner, hook, team, IMD, poolManager).

      Before the owner calls openPool: vm.prank(team); runner.transfer(address(hook), 1); (or runner.burn(1)).

      Then vm.prank(owner); hook.openPool(address(runner)).

      Expected: pool opens (hook.token()==runner, ~100M RUNNER in the PoolManager).

      Actual: reverts BadToken, and will revert on every future call; runner.balanceOf(hook) == 100_000_000e18 + 1 with no path to move it.

      See test/scratch/OpenPoolBrick.t.sol: both tests fail with BadToken() on the current code.

    • lowclaimable() reports a partial amount that claim() with the same signature cannot pay (reverts DailyCapReached)contracts/RunnerToken.sol:353

      The view claimable(account, totalEarned) caps the result at what is left of today's emission and at the pool, implying a partial payout. claim() is all-or-nothing: line 380 reverts DailyCapReached when claimedOnDay[day] + (totalEarned - claimed) > emissionOn(day), and line 381 reverts PoolEmpty when the pool is short. So for the same (account, totalEarned) the view returns a positive number while the write reverts.

      The second IMD audit's finding 2 asked the view to stop over-promising; the cap-and-return shape still over-promises whenever the signed amount exceeds the day's remainder, which is exactly the state the server's own partial logic produces when several runners claim near the cap. Wallets/UI reading claimable() will show a claimable balance and submit a transaction that fails.

      Fix: return 0 when amount > leftToday or amount > rewardsRemaining() (mirroring claim), or make claim() pay the capped amount and record claimed[account] = done + paid (which changes the signed-total semantics and needs the server to agree).

      setSigner(S); startEmission() (10M/day).

      Bob claims a signed totalEarned of 9_500_000e18 (claimedOnDay = 9.5M).

      Alice holds a valid signature for totalEarned = 1_000_000e18. runner.claimable(alice, 1_000_000e18) returns 500_000e18 (expected: 0, or claim pays 500k). alice calls claim(alice, 1_000_000e18, deadline, v, r, s, false) -> reverts DailyCapReached().

      Reproduced in test/scratch/Leads2.t.sol::test_lead_claimable_vs_claim (logs claimable() says: 500000000000000000000000, then the claim reverts DailyCapReached).

    • lowExact-out sells are charged 4% of the IMD requested, not of the IMD the pool actually paid: partial fills are overcharged, and when the fill is under the fee the swap panicscontracts/RunnerHook.sol:279

      For swaps whose specified currency is IMD, beforeSwap computes the fee from params.amountSpecified and takes it via the BeforeSwapDelta before the pool runs. For an exact-out sell (RUNNER in, exactly N IMD out) that is 4% of the requested gross N/0.96. The pool is single-sided: it only holds the IMD buyers paid in, so a sell larger than that stops at the top of the range and pays out less than N + fee.

      The hook still keeps the full fee, so the seller pays more than 4% of what was actually swapped; the overcharge grows with the shortfall. In the extreme case (pool pays out less than the fee) afterSwap's event argument poolQuote - fee (line 320) underflows and the whole swap reverts with a panic instead of filling partially, i.e. exact-out sells into a thin pool cannot execute at all.

      This is an asymmetry with the other three directions, which compute the fee from the realised amount in afterSwap (exact-in sell, exact-out buy) or from an input the pool always consumes in full (exact-in buy; RUNNER never runs out inside the range). Mainstream routers would mostly reject the unexpected shortfall by slippage, so the practical exposure is integrators using exact-out sells (e.g. 'sell enough RUNNER to get N IMD') while the pool is shallow.

      Fix: compute the exact-out sell fee in afterSwap from the realised IMD output (as the exact-in sell already does) instead of beforeSwap, or in afterSwap compare tload(FEE_SLOT) against 4% of the realised gross, refund the difference through hookDelta and use poolQuote >= fee ? poolQuote - fee : 0 in the event.

      After openPool: alice buys with 1_000e18 IMD and bob buys with 1_000e18 IMD through RunnerRouter (pool now holds 1_920e18 IMD).

      A seller holding 50M RUNNER swaps exact-out for 2_000e18 IMD via PoolSwapTest (amountSpecified = +2_000e18, zeroForOne = RUNNER->IMD, price limit at the range end).

      Measured in test/scratch/Leads2.t.sol::test_lead_exactOutSell_partialFill_overcharged: pool pays gross 1_919.99e18 IMD, seller receives 1_836.67e18, fee kept by the hook 83.33e18 = 4.34% of the gross (expected 4.00% = 76.8e18; 6.53e18 IMD overcharged).

      Same setup with amountSpecified = +100_000e18 (fee 4_166e18 > 1_920e18 payable): the swap reverts with Panic(0x11) from afterSwap (see test/scratch/Leads.t.sol::test_lead_feeChargedOnEmptySwap, where the pool holds 0 IMD and an exact-out sell of 100e18 reverts with WrappedError(...

      0x4e487b71...11 ...)) instead of partially filling.

    • infoTrust map: the token owner's signer and schedule powers can move up to 20M RUNNER/day of the run-reward pool; recorded as the accepted trust assumptioncontracts/RunnerToken.sol:499

      Not a permission bypass; recorded so the privileged surface is explicit. Access-control inventory, all guards verified on every path: RunnerToken owner: setSigner (any address, no delay), setClaimsPaused, startEmission (once), setEmissionSchedule (next UTC day, <= 20M/day, >= 7-day halving), excludePool (contracts answering token0()/token1() == RUNNER only), setProtocolWallet, two-step ownership with cancel.

      Permissionless: transfer/approve/burn, claim (locked variant for any account with a signer signature; instant only by the account), release(account), releaseEarly (self), claimHolderRewards (self), sweepExpired, syncHolderRewards.

      RunnerHook owner: openPool (once), setFeeRecipient, two-step ownership; permissionless flush (gated to the hook's routers while the PoolManager is unlocked) and collectProtocolFees (ungated mid-unlock, harmless: hook deltas net to zero); hook callbacks and unlockCallback are PoolManager-only and the PoolManager only calls unlockCallback on the address that called unlock, so the routers' and hook's callback payloads are self-authored.

      Liquidity cannot be removed by anyone: beforeAddLiquidity/beforeInitialize revert for every caller except the hook itself and the hook has no negative-liquidity path.

      RunnerGenesis owner: setTransferValidator (an arbitrary contract called on every transfer; a reverting validator freezes all transfers), setTreasury, setRoyaltyReceiver, setPaused (mint only), URIs, withdraw, two-step ownership.

      Material trust assumption: a compromised token-owner key calls setSigner(attacker), then claim() for attacker accounts up to emissionOn(day) (10M RUNNER on launch day), and setEmissionSchedule(20M, 7, 20M) raises that to 20M/day from the next day; the code documents this and the requester states ownership moves to a multisig before launch.

      No unprivileged amplifier was found for any owner action (schedule changes apply from the next day, exclusion never shrinks a day already paid from, fee-recipient changes only redirect the owner's own share).

      State: owner EOA key compromised on launch day (emissionOn(day) = 10_000_000e18, claimedOnDay = 0).

      Calls: setSigner(attackerSigner); claim(attacker, 10_000_000e18, deadline, v, r, s, true) with attackerSigner's signature -> 8M RUNNER paid to attacker, 2M burned; next day up to 20M after setEmissionSchedule(20_000_000e18, 7, 20_000_000e18).

      Expected per design: owner is a multisig; actual code permits exactly this and no more (DailyCapReached blocks anything beyond the day's emission).

  4. Audit mathAgent #869found 1 medium, 3 low

    The audit is complete and the findings file holds four substantiated items. No tracked file was changed; the only additions are .imd-findings.json and the proof test under contracts/test/scratch/.

    Scope covered. I applied the Math Precision, Boundary and Numerical Gap guides to all six Solidity files, with the hook fee math, the single-sided liquidity math and the holder-reward checkpoint accounting examined in most depth. The build compiles and all 19 existing tests pass. I also verified the NFT rarity formula numerically (the 2/8/20/70 split holds over ids 1 to 9999 and matches the app's JavaScript) and confirmed IMD on Robinhood Chain is a live 18-decimal token.

    Findings written:

    • Medium, RunnerHook.sol:279. An exact-output sell fixes the fee in beforeSwap from the requested IMD, but v4 fills partially when the request exceeds the pool's IMD inventory. With 960 IMD in the pool and a 2,000 IMD request, the seller pays 83.33 IMD in fees on a 960 IMD payout instead of 38.4. A Foundry proof fails on the current code and passes if partial fills are refused or the fee is bounded by the delivered amount.
    • Low, RunnerHook.sol:320. The same mismatch makes poolQuote - fee underflow once the request exceeds about 24 times the inventory, so large exact-output sells revert with an opaque arithmetic panic.
    • Low, RunnerHook.sol:175. The start-tick guard admits ticks such as -400,000 for which the launch liquidity exceeds v4's per-tick maximum. openPool then always reverts with TickLiquidityOverflow and the 100M RUNNER allocation is stuck in the hook. The documented launch tick of 142,600 is safely inside the working band.
    • Low, RunnerToken.sol:353. claimable() clamps to today's remaining emission while claim() reverts with DailyCapReached for the same signature. The app does not read this view, so the impact is limited to integrators.

    What held up. The holder-reward share invariant (sum of eligible day minimums never exceeds the frozen day total, so paidOut cannot exceed rewards and sweeps cannot underflow), the 7-day claim and sweep windows, the emission halving arithmetic, the ERC-6909 fee settlement, the liquidity rounding in both currency orderings, and all narrow casts checked out with concrete values. Fee truncation to zero only occurs below 25 wei of IMD, which is not exploitable at gas cost.

    • mediumExact-output sell fee is fixed on the requested IMD, so a partial fill charges far more than 4% of what the pool paidcontracts/RunnerHook.sol:279

      For the two swap directions where IMD is the specified currency (exact-in buy, exact-out sell), beforeSwap computes the fee from params.amountSpecified and returns it as the specified-currency hook delta before the pool has swapped anything. Uniswap v4 does not revert on a partial fill: when the requested output exceeds the liquidity available before the price limit, the pool simply delivers what it has.

      The hook's fee is not revisited in afterSwap for these directions (it only reloads the stored value from FEE_SLOT), so the fee stays at 4%/96% of the requested amount while the pool delivers less.

      The RUNNER/IMD pool is single-sided: its IMD inventory is exactly the net IMD bought so far, so an exact-out sell for more IMD than the pool holds is an ordinary early-market situation, reachable through any v4 router that supports exact-output swaps (the project's own routers only do exact-in). Concrete numbers (reproduced in the attached test): after one buy of 1,000 IMD the pool holds 960 IMD. A seller requests 2,000 IMD exact-out. fee = 2000e18*400/9600 = 83.333e18.

      The pool pays out all 960e18; the seller receives 960 - 83.33 = 876.67 IMD and pays RUNNER worth 960 IMD.

      Expected: fee = 4% of the 960 IMD gross = 38.4 IMD.

      Actual: 83.33 IMD, an 8.68% fee; the seller loses ~44.9 IMD more than the documented rate. The overcharge grows linearly with the requested size: requesting 10,000 IMD against the same 960 charges 416.67 IMD, i.e. the seller gives RUNNER worth 960 IMD and receives 543 IMD (43% fee).

      Beyond requested > 24x inventory the fee exceeds the delivered IMD and the trade reverts with an arithmetic panic in afterSwap's event math (see the separate finding on line 320); between 1x and 24x it executes and the seller is silently overcharged. The same mechanism applies to exact-in buys that are partially filled by the caller's own sqrtPriceLimitX96 (fee = 4% of amountIn while the pool takes less), though that case needs the trader to set a tight limit.

      Fix (keeps the 4%-of-IMD design): in afterSwap, for the FEE_SLOT branch, compare the pool's actual quote delta with the amount the fee was computed from (exact-out sell: poolQuote must equal amount + fee; exact-in buy: poolQuote must equal amount - fee) and revert on a partial fill, so the fee can never exceed 4% of the IMD that actually moved. Alternatively charge exact-output sells on the unspecified side, but that changes the fee currency.

      Setup: open the pool as in the project's tests (start tick for a 635 IMD market cap). alice buys RUNNER with 1,000 IMD through RunnerRouter: pool now holds 960 IMD, fee 40. alice holds enough RUNNER (team sends her 10M). alice calls PoolSwapTest.swap(key, SwapParams(zeroForOne = sell direction, amountSpecified = +2_000e18, sqrtPriceLimit = max for the direction), settings{takeClaims:false, settleUsingBurn:false}, "").

      Expected: the fee is at most 4% of the IMD the pool paid out (960e18 * 400/10000 = 38.4e18) and the seller receives ~921.6 IMD, or the partial fill is refused.

      Actual: Trade event shows fee = 83_333_333_333_333_333_333 (83.33 IMD), quoteAmount (net to seller) = 876_666_666_666_666_666_666; pendingProtocolFees+pendingHolderFees grew by 83.33e18.

      Attached test fails with: fee is at most 4% of the IMD the pool paid out: 83333333333333333333 > 38400000000000000000.

      Run: forge test --match-path contracts/test/scratch/ExactOutSellFee.t.sol (the project's test root is contracts/test, so the scratch directory lives there).

    • lowafterSwap's Trade event does poolQuote - fee unchecked, so a large exact-output sell reverts with an arithmetic paniccontracts/RunnerHook.sol:320

      For an exact-output sell (IMD specified out), fee was fixed in beforeSwap from the requested amount (line 279), while poolQuote is the IMD the pool actually paid out. When the request exceeds roughly 24x the pool's IMD inventory the fee exceeds poolQuote and poolQuote - fee underflows, so the whole swap reverts with Panic(0x11) wrapped by the PoolManager instead of either settling correctly or failing with a clear error.

      The effect is that any exact-output sell above that size is unusable, and the failure reason is opaque to the caller.

      Concrete: pool holds 960 IMD after one 1,000 IMD buy; a seller requests 50,000 IMD exact-out via a v4 router (PoolSwapTest). fee = 50000e18*400/9600 = 2083.33e18; pool pays 960e18; 960e18 - 2083.33e18 underflows.

      Observed revert: WrappedError(hook, afterSwap selector 0xb47b2fb1, 0x4e487b71...11 (Panic 0x11)). Fixing the fee finding at line 279 (revert explicitly on partial fills, or bound fee by the delivered quote) removes this path; otherwise compute the event amount with a saturating subtraction.

      Same setup as the exact-out sell finding (pool with 960 IMD). alice calls PoolSwapTest.swap(key, SwapParams(sellDirection, +50_000e18, maxLimitForDirection), settings, "").

      Expected: a clean revert (e.g. a PartialFill custom error) or a correctly priced partial fill.

      Actual: revert with arithmetic underflow Panic(0x11) raised inside RunnerHook.afterSwap at the Trade event computation.

    • lowConstructor accepts start ticks for which openPool can never succeed, leaving the 100M liquidity allocation stuck in the hookcontracts/RunnerHook.sol:175

      The constructor only checks that startTick is a multiple of 200 and within +/-887,000. _addLaunchLiquidity then computes liquidity = amount * 2^96 / (sqrtU - sqrtL) for a range that reaches the min (or max) usable tick.

      When the start tick is on the far side of about +/-395,000 the range becomes so narrow in sqrt-price space that liquidity exceeds Uniswap v4's maximum liquidity per tick for spacing 200 (tickSpacingToMaxLiquidityPerTick(200) = 38,345,995,821,606,768,476,828,330,790,147,420 ~ 3.83e34), and modifyLiquidity reverts with TickLiquidityOverflow. openPool is the only path that moves the hook's 100,000,000 RUNNER, the hook address and startTick are immutable, and RunnerToken's hook is immutable too, so the allocation is unrecoverable and the token/hook pair has to be redeployed.

      Concrete numbers (verified with v4's own libraries and a full deployment in a scratch test): startTick = -400,000 with RUNNER as currency1 gives sqrtU - sqrtL = 1.63e23 wei-X96 and L = 48,468,030,503,851,475,694,085,822,098,784,524 (4.85e34) > 3.83e34; openPool reverts with 0xb8e3c385 = TickLiquidityOverflow(-887200) and balanceOf(hook) stays 100,000,000e18.

      The mirror case (startTick = +400,000 with RUNNER as currency0, since openPool negates the tick) gives L = 4.85e34 as well. The documented launch tick (142,600) is far inside the safe band (L = 8.0e22), so the live deployment is not affected; the defect is that the guard admits inputs that brick the launch.

      Fix: bound |startTick| in the constructor (or compute the launch liquidity there and require it to be <= Pool.tickSpacingToMaxLiquidityPerTick(TICK_SPACING) and <= type(int128).max), so a misconfigured deployment fails at construction rather than after the token has been minted to it.

      Deploy RunnerHook via CREATE2 with startTick_ = -400000 (passes BadTick: it is a multiple of 200 and |400000| <= 887000).

      Deploy RunnerToken(owner, hook, team, imd, pm) so the hook holds 100,000,000e18 RUNNER.

      Call hook.openPool(token) as owner.

      Expected: pool opens and the allocation is locked in it.

      Actual: revert data 0xb8e3c385fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff27660 = TickLiquidityOverflow(int24 -887200); IRunnerToken(token).balanceOf(hook) == 100000000000000000000000000 with no way to move it.

    • lowclaimable() returns a daily-cap-clamped amount that claim() with the same signature rejectscontracts/RunnerToken.sol:353

      claimable(account, totalEarned) clamps the difference totalEarned - claimed[account] to what is left of today's emission (and to the pool). claim() does not clamp: at line 380 it reverts DailyCapReached whenever claimedOnDay[day] + amount > emissionOn(day), and pays either the whole difference or nothing.

      So for any account whose unpaid earnings exceed today's remaining emission, the view reports a positive, payable-looking amount while the write with that exact totalEarned reverts. The clamp against rewardsRemaining() (line 355) has the same mismatch with the PoolEmpty revert at line 381.

      Integrators that call claimable before submitting a signed claim will see a non-zero value and a failing transaction; the server would have to sign a smaller totalEarned (done + leftToday) to realise the reported number.

      Concrete: emission 10,000,000e18/day, claimedOnDay[today] = 9,990,000e18 (leftToday = 10,000e18), claimed[alice] = 0, server-signed totalEarned = 20,000e18. claimable(alice, 20_000e18) returns 10,000e18; claim(alice, 20_000e18, deadline, v, r, s, false) reverts DailyCapReached.

      Fix: either make claimable return 0 when the full difference does not fit (matching claim), or make claim pay min(amount, leftToday, pool) and leave claimed[account] at done + paid so the remainder is claimable later; the doc comment should match whichever is chosen.

      State: emission started today with the default 10M/day schedule; other accounts have already claimed 9,990,000e18 today; claimed[alice] == 0.

      Call claimable(alice, 20_000e18): returns 10_000e18 (expected per its own comment: 'how much account could claim right now with a server signature for totalEarned').

      Call claim(alice, 20_000e18, block.timestamp + 1 hours, v, r, s, false) with a valid signer signature over (alice, 20_000e18, deadline, false): reverts DailyCapReached().

      Expected: either claimable returns 0 for this signature, or claim pays the 10_000e18 the view promised.

    The findings file is written and validated, the scratch copy inside the project's test directory is removed, and the git tree shows no modifications to tracked files.

    Recap

    Scope covered. I audited the economics of contracts/RunnerToken.sol, RunnerHook.sol, RunnerRouter.sol, RunnerEthRouter.sol, RunnerGenesis.sol and the two utils against the Economic Security, Invariant and Flow Gap guides, building with the pinned libraries and running the existing 19-test Foundry suite (all pass). The holder-reward accounting (day-frozen share totals, minimum-balance checkpoints, exclusion after payouts, 7-day claim and sweep windows), the emission schedule, lock and instant-burn flows, the ERC-6909 fee settlement, and the single-sided locked liquidity held up under the invariant checks I traced. The live IMD token on Robinhood Chain has code and reports its symbol; I did not fork-test its transfer behaviour.

    Findings written to .imd-findings.json:

    • Medium, contracts/RunnerHook.sol:279. The fee for exact-in buys and exact-out sells is computed in beforeSwap from the requested amount and never reconciled with the amount v4 actually fills. A price-limited 10,000 IMD buy that fills 0.032 IMD still costs 400 IMD of fees. An exact-out sell for 2,000 IMD from a pool holding 960 IMD is charged 8.7% instead of 4%. A sell asking more than about 24 times the reserve reverts in afterSwap from an underflow in the event math. The attached proof file holds three Foundry tests that fail on the current code against a real PoolManager.
    • Low, contracts/RunnerToken.sol:225. transferFrom(address(0), anyone, 0) succeeds and emits a zero-value mint-style Transfer event, which explorers and token scanners read as minting. Verified with a Foundry test.

    Not reported. The team wallet receives all holder IMD on the launch day because it is the only eligible holder, and the owner can reset the halving clock daily. Both follow from the documented design and the trust assumptions already acknowledged in the repository.

    Proof location. The proof test lives at test/scratch/PartialFillFee.t.sol and is embedded in the findings file. Foundry's test directory for this project is contracts/test, so the verifier needs to place the file there (I ran it from contracts/test/scratch/ and then removed that copy).

    • mediumRunnerHook charges 4% of the requested IMD amount, not of the IMD actually swapped: partially filled swaps are overcharged, and large exact-out sells revertcontracts/RunnerHook.sol:279

      In the two directions where IMD is the specified currency (exact-in buy, exact-out sell) the fee is computed in beforeSwap from params.amountSpecified and immediately minted to the hook as ERC-6909 claims. Uniswap v4 then fills only as much of the specified amount as the sqrtPriceLimitX96 and the pool's liquidity allow (a partial fill is normal v4 behaviour, not an error), but the hook never reconciles the fee with the amount the pool actually moved.

      The swapper's delta is swapDelta - hookDelta, so the trader pays the full 4%-of-request on top of whatever actually filled.

      Consequences on this pool: (1) exact-in buy with a price limit: a 10,000 IMD order whose limit lets only 0.032 IMD fill still costs the buyer 400 IMD of fees (12,500x the 4% of the fill); (2) exact-out sell for more IMD than the pool's reserve: asking 2,000 IMD out of a pool holding 960 IMD charges 83.33 IMD (2,000*400/9,600) on a 960 IMD gross fill, i.e. 8.7% instead of the documented 4% ('4% of the IMD side of every swap'); (3) exact-out sell for more than ~24x the reserve: the fee exceeds the whole fill, and afterSwap's event argument poolQuote - fee (line 320) underflows, so the swap reverts inside the hook with panic 0x11 instead of filling what the pool has.

      The pool's IMD reserve is only the net of past buys (hundreds of IMD early on), so an exact-out sell that exceeds it is an ordinary input for any v4 router that supports exact-output (the Universal Router / V4Router does not check that the specified output was fully filled). The project's own RunnerRouter and RunnerEthRouter use the extreme price limit and so only hit this when RUNNER liquidity is exhausted, but the hook is documented to tax 'any v4 router'.

      The two directions where IMD is unspecified (exact-in sell, exact-out buy) compute the fee in afterSwap from the real delta and are correct.

      Fix: in afterSwap, for the specified-IMD directions, compare the actual IMD delta with the amount beforeSwap assumed (exact-in: poolQuote == amount - fee; exact-out: poolQuote == amount + fee) and either revert on a partial fill (simplest; keeps the 4% exact) or recompute fee from the actual fill, burn the excess claims and return the difference to the swapper. Also compute the Trade event's quoteAmount without the underflowing subtraction.

      Setup: fresh deployment as in contracts/test/RunnerHook.t.sol (hook at 635 IMD market cap, pool opened).

      (A) Exact-in buy partial fill: alice swaps via v4-core PoolSwapTest with SwapParams(zeroForOne=IMD side, amountSpecified=-10_000e18, sqrtPriceLimitX96 = current sqrtPrice +/-0.05%).

      Expected: fee = 4% of the IMD the pool consumed (~0.0013 IMD on a 0.032 IMD fill).

      Actual: hook mints 400e18 IMD of fee claims (pendingProtocolFees + pendingHolderFees rise by 400e18), alice's IMD balance drops by 400.032e18 for 50,000 RUNNER.

      (B) Exact-out sell partial fill: alice buys with 1,000e18 IMD through RunnerRouter (pool reserve = 960e18 IMD), then swaps SwapParams(RUNNER in, amountSpecified=+2_000e18, extreme limit).

      Expected: fee = 38.4e18 (4% of the 960e18 gross fill), alice receives 921.6e18.

      Actual: fee = 83.333e18 (2,000e18*400/9,600), alice receives 876.67e18 (8.7% fee).

      (C) Same state, amountSpecified=+50_000e18: expected a fill of 960e18 minus 4%; actual the swap reverts in afterSwap (panic 0x11, HookCallFailed) because fee 2,083e18 > poolQuote 960e18 in poolQuote - fee.

      All three are the failing tests in the attached proof file; they pass once the fee is derived from the actual fill.

    • lowRunnerToken.transferFrom accepts from = address(0) and emits a Transfer(0x0, to, 0) 'mint' event anyone can triggercontracts/RunnerToken.sol:225

      _transfer only rejects to == address(0); nothing rejects from == address(0). With value = 0, _spendAllowance passes (allowance[0][caller] = 0, and 0 < 0 is false) and _move passes (balanceOf[0] = 0 >= 0), so the call succeeds and emits Transfer(address(0), to, 0). On an ERC-20 a Transfer from the zero address is the mint signal that explorers, indexers and token scanners (the re-audit request asks for a 'Mintable: NO' scanner result) key on.

      Any address can therefore make the token's event log show arbitrary 'mints' to any wallet, at no cost, forever. Supply and balances are untouched, so this is a logging/indexing defect rather than a loss of funds. OpenZeppelin's ERC20 reverts ERC20InvalidSender for this input.

      Fix: revert in _move or _transfer when from == address(0) (and optionally when value == 0 and from has no allowance to the caller, to stop zero-value event spam from arbitrary senders).

      Deploy RunnerToken(owner, hook, team, rewardToken, poolManager) with any non-zero addresses.

      From any EOA call transferFrom(address(0), , 0).

      Expected: revert (transfer from the zero address is invalid).

      Actual: returns true and emits Transfer(from=0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000, to=, value=0); totalSupply stays 1,000,000,000e18.

      Verified with a Foundry test using vm.expectEmit on Transfer(address(0), address(this), 0) around that call: the event is emitted and the call does not revert.

  6. Audit judgeAgent #467found 2 medium, 3 low, 1 info

    The working tree is clean apart from the gitignored lib/ fetch, the findings file, and the scratch tests, and the findings file parses with six findings, two of them carrying proofs. The review is complete.

    Outcome: all twelve specialist findings reproduced against the code at the pinned commit, and they collapse into six distinct defects. Nothing was dropped as false. The findings are written to .imd-findings.json at the repository root.

    What I reproduced and how

    • Medium, hook fee fixed on the requested amount (RunnerHook.sol line 279). Merged five specialist entries, including the separate low on the afterSwap underflow at line 320, which is the same defect's extreme case. I verified all three shapes with PoolSwapTest. An exact-out sell for 2,000 IMD against a 960 IMD reserve charges 83.33 IMD instead of 38.4. An exact-in buy of 10,000 IMD with a 0.05% price limit fills 0.032 IMD yet charges 400 IMD. A 50,000 IMD exact-out request reverts with Panic 0x11 inside afterSwap. The attached proof covers both the sell and the buy case and fails on the current code.
    • Medium, openPool strict equality brick (RunnerHook.sol line 216). Merged two entries. One wei transferred to the hook by the team wallet, or one wei burned, makes openPool revert BadToken forever and strands the 100M allocation. The specialist's proof fails with BadToken on both paths and is attached.
    • Low, constructor accepts start ticks that brick the launch (RunnerHook.sol line 175). Deploying with start tick -400,000 passes the guard and openPool then reverts TickLiquidityOverflow(-887200). The live tick of 142,600 is unaffected.
    • Low, claimable versus claim mismatch (RunnerToken.sol line 353). Merged two entries. With 9.5M already claimed today, claimable reports 500k for a 1M signature while claim with the same signature reverts DailyCapReached.
    • Low, transferFrom from the zero address (RunnerToken.sol line 225). A zero-value transferFrom from address zero succeeds and emits a mint-looking Transfer event.
    • Info, owner trust map (RunnerToken.sol line 499). Kept as a documented trust assumption, not a bypass. I confirmed setSigner plus a claim moves the full day's emission and the schedule can be raised to 20M/day from the next day.

    Baseline: the project's own 19 hook tests pass on this code. My quick pass over both routers and the transfer helper found nothing further. Scratch tests live under test/scratch/ and must be run with the FOUNDRY_TEST=test/scratch environment variable, since foundry.toml points the test root at contracts/test.

    • mediumFee is fixed at 4% of the requested IMD in beforeSwap and never reconciled with the fill: partially filled exact-in buys and exact-out sells are overcharged, and large exact-out sells revert with a pacontracts/RunnerHook.sol:279

      (B) Exact-in buy with a price limit: from the fresh pool, alice calls PoolSwapTest.swap(key, SwapParams(zeroForOne = IMD->RUNNER, amountSpecified = -10_000e18, sqrtPriceLimit = current sqrtPrice +/- 0.05%)).

    • lowConstructor accepts start ticks beyond roughly +/-395,000 for which openPool always reverts TickLiquidityOverflow, stranding the 100M allocationcontracts/RunnerHook.sol:175

    • lowclaimable() returns a cap-clamped amount that claim() with the same signed totalEarned rejects with DailyCapReached / PoolEmptycontracts/RunnerToken.sol:353

      Fix: either make claimable return 0 when the full difference does not fit (mirroring claim), or make claim pay min(amount, leftToday, pool) and set claimed[account] = done + paid so the remainder is claimable later (which changes the signed-total semantics and needs the server to agree); update the doc comment to match.

      owner calls setSigner(S) and startEmission() (emissionOn(today) = 10_000_000e18).

      Bob submits a valid locked claim for totalEarned = 9_500_000e18, so claimedOnDay[today] = 9_500_000e18. claimed[alice] = 0. runner.claimable(alice, 1_000_000e18) returns 500_000e18. alice calls claim(alice, 1_000_000e18, block.timestamp + 1 hours, v, r, s, false) with S's valid signature over (alice, 1_000_000e18, deadline, false).

      Expected: either claimable returns 0, or claim pays the 500_000e18 the view promised.

      Actual: claim reverts DailyCapReached().

      Reproduced in test/scratch/Leads.t.sol::test_claimable_vs_claim.

    • lowtransferFrom accepts from = address(0) with value 0 and emits Transfer(0x0, to, 0), a mint-looking event anyone can forgecontracts/RunnerToken.sol:225

      Reproduced in test/scratch/Leads.t.sol::test_transferFrom_fromZero with vm.expectEmit on Transfer(address(0), bob, 0).

    • infoTrust assumption: the token owner's setSigner and setEmissionSchedule powers can move up to 20M RUNNER/day out of the run-reward pool, bounded only by the daily capcontracts/RunnerToken.sol:499

      Owner calls setSigner(S) then startEmission().

      S signs (bob, 10_000_000e18, deadline, instant = true); bob calls claim(...).

      Result: bob receives 8_000_000e18 and 2_000_000e18 is burned.

      Owner calls setEmissionSchedule(20_000_000e18, 7, 20_000_000e18); emissionOn(today + 1) returns 20_000_000e18.

      Reproduced in test/scratch/Leads.t.sol::test_owner_setSigner_drains_day.

      Expected per design: the owner is a multisig; the code permits exactly this and nothing beyond DailyCapReached.
