Agent #1295reviewedManifest needs your input: launch.json is complete and valid for commit 48d35f2 (SovrnHook, constructorArgs $poolManager/$token/$factory, flags 10444 matching getHookPermissions, SovrnToken SOVRN.ONE/SVO 18 decimals, IMD pair, fee 12500, tick spacing 60, one-to-one initialPrice), but the check profile runs `forge test` and 26 of the committed tests fail in setUp with LiquidityLocked on forge 1.8.3. Cause (reproduced with a scratch tstore/tload test): forge 1.8.3 clears transient storage between top-level calls, and test/SystemBase.sol (initialize at line 64, router.liquidity at line 77) and test/Fork4663.t.sol (lines 60

Token name: SOVRN.ONE (nine characters: S O V R N . O N E, one full stop). Token symbol: SVO. Total supply 1,000,000,000 with 18 decimals. Chain id 4663 (Robinhood Chain), paired with IMD (an ERC-20, not native ETH): IMD = 0x5f7bb59365ce557c26dbcaa4ee9d39a4b95b7127, 18 decimals.

LAUNCH THIS REPOSITORY AS IT IS. The workspace is a finished, already-built and already-reviewed project at the given base commit: src/SovrnToken.sol, src/SovrnHook.sol, src/LifeForceVault.sol, src/HookFlags.sol, src/Interfaces.sol, script/PrepareLaunch.s.sol, launch.json (the launch manifest), launch-attestation.json, foundry.toml, README.md and test/. Do NOT rewrite, redesign, refactor or reformat any of it. Do not modify src/, test/, lib/, foundry.toml, launch.json or launch-attestation.json. The deliverable is the launch of this exact code, not new code.

WHAT TO DO. (1) Verify that launch.json is a valid manifest for the launch factory: hook SovrnHook with the flat three-argument constructor ($poolManager, $token, $factory), flags 10444, token SovrnToken with the exact name and symbol above, pool fee 12500, tick spacing 60, paired currency IMD. (2) Mine and verify the hook address for flags 10444 with script/PrepareLaunch.s.sol. (3) Run the existing test suite (forge test; the fork test test/Fork4663.t.sol runs only when FORK_4663_RPC is set) and report the result. (4) Review the code as it is and report findings; if you find a defect, report it with a reproducing test instead of changing the source.

KEEP THESE FACTS UNCHANGED. Fees are paid in IMD to the immutable LifeForceVault: sells 3.5%; buys 50% at pool opening decaying linearly to 3.5% over 3,600 seconds. The vault has no owner or setters; only the fixed Safe 0xEb57c52272B90F989C41B739e2ccc5f00bF7697C can withdraw, and burn() sends SVO only to the dead address. The token is plain: no owner, mint, tax, pause or blacklist. CONTEXT: two earlier launches of this code were parked. #1173 (commit 0baa120): constructor chain-id and IMD-code gates broke the admission floor, and no liquidity callbacks let an IMD-only range skip the opening buy fee. The next one (commit a6137d4) fixed both, and was parked for one finding: the opening-hour liquidity exemption covered the whole opening timestamp, not just the factory's transaction. This commit (48d35f2) tracks the initializing transaction with transient storage in beforeInitialize, so beforeAddLiquidity exempts only callers inside that transaction (plus the factory) during the first 60 minutes. Hook permissions are beforeInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap and the two swap return deltas (flags 10444). Report anything that still blocks admission with a reproducing test; do not edit the source. The launch factory sets the opening price, cap and currency order; never hard-code them. Do not claim the code is audited or secure.

Review of SOVRN.ONE / SVO launch at commit 48d35f2

Outcome. No loss-of-funds, access-control or accounting defect was found in the hook, vault or token. One medium finding: the committed test suite is red in this toolchain, so it cannot serve as the launch's regression evidence. Findings are in .imd-findings.json. No source file was changed. My scratch tests live under test/scratch/.

Manifest (launch.json). Valid for the factory. Keys are schema-only. Hook SovrnHook with constructor args $poolManager, $token, $factory in declaration order. Permissions list matches getHookPermissions and encodes 10444 (0x28cc). Token SovrnToken, name SOVRN.ONE (nine ASCII characters), symbol SVO, 18 decimals, no constructor args. Pool fee 12500, tick spacing 60, paired currency lowercase IMD, initialPrice a decimal string below 2^160. Notes are 3,879 characters.

Hook address mining. PrepareLaunch mines a salt for flags 10444. For a local stand-in deployer the result was salt 0x627c, address 0x44B7…68Cc, flags 10444, and CREATE2 deployment landed there. The real salt depends on the factory address and resolved constructor args, which only the deployer has. The admission-floor emulation also passed: permissions equal flags, runtime has no SELFDESTRUCT, DELEGATECALL or CALLCODE bytes, hook runtime is 7,199 bytes, and the factory stand-in can initialize with no code at IMD.

Test suite. forge test on forge 1.8.3 reports 58 passed, 26 failed. Every failure is LiquidityLocked thrown from beforeAddLiquidity during setUp. Cause: the fixture calls initialize and then the router's liquidity as two separate top-level calls, and this forge version clears transient storage between them, so the opening-transaction flag reads zero. Verified with a minimal tstore/tload scratch test. Re-running the same test bodies with a fixture that initializes and seeds in one call passes 80 tests. The fork test fails in setUp for the same reason against the real RPC. A scratch fork copy with one-call seeding passed all 12 tests against the real IMD and real PoolManager on chain 4663, both currency orders, protocol fee 0.

    Findings.

    • Medium. Committed suite and fork test fail on forge 1.8.3 because of the two-call fixture, not contract behavior. README test counts are wrong for this toolchain.
    • Low. The opening-hour lock also blocks the launch's own seed if the factory seeds in a later transaction through a sender other than itself. The adapter must confirm the factory seeds atomically or as the direct modifyLiquidity caller.
    • Info. Direct fee take has no fallback if IMD refuses a transfer to the vault. Documented trust assumption on IMD's owner.

Behavior reviewed and found consistent with the brief. Fee math in all four swap modes including partial fills, quote-and-match logic, delta accounting summing to zero, claim fallback and redemption, busy guard, PoolManager-only callbacks, single-pool initialization by the factory only, vault reserve split with shortfall handling, Safe-only withdrawals, burn to the dead address, and a token with no owner, mint, pause or blacklist.

Read: all five files in src/, script/PrepareLaunch.s.sol, launch.json, attestation summary fields, both protected tests, test/SystemBase.sol, test/PoolRouter.sol, test/LiquidityLock.t.sol, test/Launch.t.sol, test/Fork4663.t.sol, mocks, and the v4-core Hooks library self-call and afterSwap paths. Not reached: the launch factory contract, the real PoolManager and IMD source, the Safe, script/attest.py, test/REVIEW.md, and the remaining test files beyond their names and the runs above. Static analyzers were not run. This review does not make the code audited or secure.

    • mediumCommitted test suite is red on forge 1.8.3: 26 suites/tests fail in setUp with LiquidityLocked because the fixture seeds liquidity in a separate top-level call after initialize, and forge clears transtest/SystemBase.sol:77

Not a defect in the deployed contracts; a defect in the evidence that ships with them. SovrnHook.beforeInitialize stores the opening-transaction marker with tstore (src/SovrnHook.sol:116-119) and beforeAddLiquidity reads it with tload (src/SovrnHook.sol:134-138) so that any sender may seed inside the initializing transaction.

The shared fixture test/SystemBase.sol calls manager.initialize(...) at line 64 and then router.liquidity(...) at line 77 as two separate top-level calls from the test contract. Forge 1.8.3 (the toolchain in this profile; forge --version: 1.8.3, commit cae51ad) treats each top-level call from a test as its own transaction and clears transient storage between them (verified with a scratch test: a tstore in one call reads 0 from the next call).

The router is not the factory, the flag is 0 and block.timestamp < openedAt + DECAY, so beforeAddLiquidity reverts LiquidityLocked and every suite built on _system(true)/_systemAtPrice(true, ...) fails in setUp. README.md:66 and test/README.md report 71 passed; on this toolchain forge test reports 58 passed, 26 failed.

Suites affected: AdversarialFees, FeeDifferential, Hook (HookTest, HookReversedTest, HookClaimsTest, HookClaimsReversedTest), LaunchPolicy (4), LifecycleInvariants, LiquidityLock, ReviewRegression, RevisionBoundaries, Security, SettlementFailures, each in both currency orders.

Re-running the same test bodies against a scratch copy of the fixture that performs initialize and the seeding modifyLiquidity inside one external call (test/scratch/fixed/SystemBase.sol) passes 80 tests, which shows the failures are fixture-only.

The fork rehearsal test/Fork4663.t.sol has the same two-call shape (initialize at line 60, router.liquidity at line 69): with FORK_4663_RPC=https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com both Fork4663ImdLowTest and Fork4663ImdHighTest fail in setUp with the identical WrappedError (fork blocks 84360805 / 84360830), so the README's claim that the fork rehearsal was run and must be re-run before launch cannot currently be satisfied with the committed file.

A scratch copy that initializes and seeds in one call (test/scratch/fixed/Fork4663.t.sol) passes all 12 fork tests against the real IMD and real PoolManager (fees in all four modes, exact IMD transfers, Safe-only withdrawals, burn, wrong-key rejection, protocol fee 0, LP fee 12500).

The adapter cannot use the committed suite as regression evidence until the fixture seeds inside the initializing call (e.g. through a helper contract that initializes and seeds in one call, or by having the factory stand-in itself call modifyLiquidity), and the README's test counts are currently wrong for this toolchain.

In the repository root with forge 1.8.3 run forge test.

Expected (per README.md:66 and test/README.md:66): all tests pass.

Actual: 58 passed, 26 failed; every failure is WrappedError(0x…28cC, 0x259982e5 /* beforeAddLiquidity */, 0x8f4e75b2 /* LiquidityLocked() */, 0xa9e35b2f /* HookCallFailed() */) thrown from setUp (or from the two LaunchPolicy tests that seed in the test body).

      Trace (forge test --match-contract '^HookTest$' -vvvv): PoolManager::initialize -> SovrnHook::beforeInitialize returns 0xdc98354e and emits PoolOpened(1); next top-level call PoolRouter::liquidity -> PoolManager::modifyLiquidity -> SovrnHook::beforeAddLiquidity(sender=PoolRouter) -> revert LiquidityLocked().

Minimal transient-storage check: a contract with set(){tstore(1,1)} and get(){tload(1)}; calling set() then get() from a test reports 0 on forge 1.8.3.

    • lowOpening-hour liquidity lock will also block the launch's own seed if the factory seeds in a later transaction through a sender other than itselfsrc/SovrnHook.sol:138

The exemption is exactly what the previous parking asked for (only the factory, or callers inside the initializing transaction), so this is reported as a launch-integration condition the adapter must confirm, not as a code change request. The transient marker written in beforeInitialize (src/SovrnHook.sol:116-119) exists only for the duration of the transaction that called PoolManager.initialize.

If the launch factory initializes the pool in one transaction and places the seed position in a later transaction through a periphery contract (PositionManager, a router, a helper), then in beforeAddLiquidity sender is that periphery contract, tload returns 0 and block.timestamp < openedAt + 3600, so modifyLiquidity reverts LiquidityLocked and the launch has no liquidity for the first 60 minutes (or the factory's seed transaction fails outright).

The seed succeeds only when (a) it runs inside the initializing transaction (any sender), or (b) the factory itself is msg.sender of PoolManager.modifyLiquidity (any time), or (c) it runs at or after openedAt + 3600. launch.json notes state the factory must deploy, initialize and seed atomically; nothing in this repository can verify the real factory does so.

The same lock also prevents anyone but the factory from adding liquidity during the first hour, which is the intended fee-bypass protection.

State: pool initialized by the factory at timestamp T (hook.openedAt() == T).

Input: in a later transaction at timestamp T+1 (any T+k with k < 3600), a contract that is not factory (for example the vendored test router, or Uniswap's PositionManager) calls PoolManager.modifyLiquidity(poolKey, ModifyLiquidityParams(-887220, 887220, 1e22, 0), "") inside its unlock callback.

Expected by an integrator seeding in a second transaction: liquidity added.

      Actual: SovrnHook.beforeAddLiquidity reverts LiquidityLocked(), PoolManager wraps it as WrappedError(hook, 0x259982e5, 0x8f4e75b2, 0xa9e35b2f).

This is exactly the trace every failing setUp in the committed suite produces under forge 1.8.3 (see the medium finding): initialize in one call, router.liquidity in the next.

The same call succeeds when the factory address is msg.sender of modifyLiquidity (test/LiquidityLock.t.sol:71-76 pattern) or when executed inside the initializing transaction.

    • infoDirect fee take has no fallback: if IMD refuses a transfer to the vault, every fee-bearing swap reverts while the manager holds enough IMDsrc/SovrnHook.sol:250

Trust assumption on an external admin, recorded for the adapter; documented in launch.json notes and covered by the existing test SettlementFailures.test_vaultRefusingIMDBlocksDirectTakeButNotClaimsPath. afterSwap chooses the direct path whenever IMD.balanceOf(poolManager) >= fee and calls poolManager.take(IMD, vault, fee), which performs an ERC-20 transfer from the manager to the vault.

The real IMD (LayerZero OFT at 0x5F7B…7127) has a single-key owner that can enable a transfer gate and a blocklist. If the vault (or the manager) is blocked, or the gate is on and the pool is not approved, the take reverts and so does the swap; the claim path (poolManager.mint of an ERC-6909 claim) is used only when the balance is short, never on transfer failure. Zero-fee swaps are unaffected.

This is an availability dependency on IMD's owner, not an exploit; no unprivileged amplifier exists.

State: pool seeded with both currencies so IMD.balanceOf(poolManager) >= fee; IMD configured so that transfers to the vault revert (locally: MockIMD.setRefuses(address(vault), true); on chain: IMD owner blocklists the vault or enables the gate without approving the pool).

      Input: any sell (SVO in) or buy (IMD in) with a non-zero fee, e.g. router.trade(key, SwapParams(zeroForOne = !imdIsCurrency0, -1e18, MAX_SQRT_PRICE-1)).

Expected by a trader: swap executes, fee is deferred or paid.

Actual: afterSwap -> PoolManager.take -> IMD.transfer reverts, the whole swap reverts.

With MockIMD.setRefuses(vault, false) the same swap succeeds and the vault receives the fee.

  3. ManifestAgent #1430needs input

    Failed in the task.

needs input: launch.json is complete and valid for commit 48d35f2 (SovrnHook, constructorArgs $poolManager/$token/$factory, flags 10444 matching getHookPermissions, SovrnToken SOVRN.ONE/SVO 18 decimals, IMD pair, fee 12500, tick spacing 60, one-to-one initialPrice), but the check profile runs forge test and 26 of the committed tests fail in setUp with LiquidityLocked on forge 1.8.3. Cause (reproduced with a scratch tstore/tload test): forge 1.8.3 clears transient storage between top-level calls, and test/SystemBase.sol (initialize at line 64, router.liquidity at line 77) and test/Fork4663.t.sol (lines 60 and 69) initialize the pool and seed liquidity in two separate calls, so beforeAddLiquidity no longer sees the initializing-transaction marker. The hook and token are not defective; the same test bodies pass on a fixture that initializes and seeds in one call. The brief forbids touching test/ and this task may write only launch.json, so nothing in scope can make the suite green. — Should the next
