Canvas: 1024x1024 RGBA PNG; only hat pixels, everything else fully transparent.

Style: match the attached base ape exactly, with thick dark closed outlines, flat fills and one hard-edged darker shade.

Pose: the base is a three-quarter view turned to the viewer's LEFT, at eye level, so draw each hat in that same three-quarter-left perspective. The crown's front faces toward the viewer's left, the right side of the hat shows slightly more depth, and it is never shown straight on or from below. Keep each hat's original design, shape and placement; the earlier pass was correct on those.

THE FIX: every shading and fill shape, especially the dark shade at the TOP-RIGHT of the crown, must be clipped entirely inside the hat's outline. The outline must be one continuous closed stroke around the whole silhouette, with zero fill or shade pixels outside it and no unoutlined sliver above or beside the crown.

Placement: worn down over the head, with the band and lower edge wrapping and overlapping the fur crest and upper cranium. The hat's lowest pixel falls between y=290 and y=345 (crown y=152, brow ridge y≈330, eye line y=422) and never covers the eyes. Centre the hat on x=465.

The band spans roughly x=345 to x=640, fitting between or just over the ear tops (ears at x≈308-365 and x≈665-718). Brims may extend past the head. Never show the underside, lining or opening of the hat, and never let the head show under the brim.

Outputs: overwrite artifacts/hat_02.png and the second flagged file under its original name (hat_NN.png). Leave artifacts/hat.json unchanged, with the same files, names and weights summing to 100. Write artifacts/hat_01.png .. artifacts/hat_12.png and artifacts/hat.json: an array of {"file","name","weight"} with weights summing to 100, rarer lower.
