Release Oneway Launch (token symbol OWLN) on Sepolia as a univ4_hook launch.

Token: Oneway Launch (OWLN), total supply 1,000,000,000 OWLN with 18 decimals, minted once to the deployer (a separate zero-argument ERC-20, no mint, owner or admin).

Hook: BuyOnlyWindowHook, a Uniswap v4 hook on the token's native-ETH pool that allows only buys for the first 300 blocks. afterInitialize records opensAt[poolId] = block.number + 300 for pools whose currency0 is native ETH and never reverts. beforeSwap reverts with SellsLocked(opensAt) for every sell (oneForZero, token to ETH; exact-in and exact-out alike) while block.number < opensAt, and otherwise returns a zero delta; buys are always allowed and nothing is ever charged in either direction.

No liquidity or donate callbacks, so LPs can add and remove at any time. The window cannot be extended, shortened or re-armed: there is no admin and a pool initializes once.

Event: WindowSet(poolId, opensAt).

Views: opensAt(poolId), sellsOpen(poolId). Public-safety note for the README and site: blocking sells is the mechanism honeypots use; here it is a disclosed, fixed 300-block (about an hour on Sepolia) test of launch-time gating, visible on-chain before anyone buys.

Deploy shape, matching the live Sepolia hook launches 170, 183 and 186 (launch 168 passed the mainnet PoolManager and is not a model): BuyOnlyWindowHook's only constructor argument is the Sepolia PoolManager 0xE03A1074c86CFeDd5C142C4F04F1a1536e203543; every rate, window and threshold here is a source constant; there is no owner, admin, setter, pause, upgrade or sweep, and no $owner or $token argument.

Permissions are exactly afterInitialize, beforeSwap (low address bits 0x1080), all others false; the constructor calls Hooks.validateHookPermissions and the CREATE2 salt is mined for those bits.

The factory initializes the pool (currency0 native ETH, currency1 OWLN, fee 3000, tickSpacing 60) and seeds one-sided OWLN liquidity, so nothing in the hook may revert that initialize or that liquidity add (launch 138 was parked when a beforeInitialize gate reverted the factory), and the first buy lands in a pool that holds no ETH. All state is keyed by PoolId; a pool on this hook whose currency0 is not native ETH gets zero deltas and no other effect.

Every callback requires msg.sender == PoolManager.

Tests (Foundry, a real v4-core PoolManager deployed in the test, hook at a mined address): a launch rehearsal that initializes at the manifest price, seeds one-sided OWLN liquidity like the factory and makes the first buy into the ETH-less pool; exact-in and exact-out in both directions; dust amounts; a pool whose currency0 is not ETH; direct callback calls from a non-PoolManager address revert; fuzzed sizes; and specifically: buys and reverted sells (exact-in and exact-out) in block opensAt - 1; sells succeed at exactly opensAt; liquidity removal works during the window; a non-ETH pool is never gated; the hook holds no funds.

An independent adversarial review (read-only) must attack: every way to sell during the window (exact-output swaps that buy ETH, other routers, a second ETH pool on the same hook, which has its own window), whether afterInitialize can revert the factory, the off-by-one at opensAt, and whether anything can make the lock permanent. It reports each finding with the exact call sequence that triggers it.

Website: one static page (dist/index.html) that reads the hook's views and events and the pool price through Uniswap's Sepolia StateView 0xe1dd9c3fa50edb962e442f60dfbc432e24537e4c, with a buy/sell form that swaps through Uniswap's published Sepolia PoolSwapTest router 0x9b6b46e2c869aa39918db7f52f5557fe577b6eee (has code; manager() is the PoolManager above). It shows the countdown in blocks and minutes to opensAt, whether sells are open, and a sell button disabled until then.

Also approved

Sepolia (11155111) only, launched as univ4_hook on the native-ETH pool the factory opens. GitHub publication and IPFS hosting are approved. Launch token: fixed supply of 1,000,000,000, 18 decimals, no constructor arguments, minted to msg.sender, no mint or admin. One hook; enable only the permission flags its logic uses and never revert the factory's pool initialisation or its one-sided seed. Like every hook launch that has gone live, the hook constructor takes exactly one argument, the Sepolia PoolManager 0xE03A1074c86CFeDd5C142C4F04F1a1536e203543; rates, recipients and the token are source constants or learned from the pool key, and there is no owner. Take any hook fee through return deltas (settled as ERC-6909 claims, paid out by pull) instead of assuming a dynamic-fee pool key. Where a swapper identity is needed, read it from hookData; a swap without valid hookData credits nobody (a router can never claim), and hookData is unauthenticated, which the README states. No external oracles or VRF, no proxies, delegatecall or selfdestruct. foundry.toml sets bytecode_hash = "none". Any website is a static export with index.html in dist/. Site label lab-buy-only-launch-hook.

Build OWLN and BuyOnlyWindowHook (permissions afterInitialize, beforeSwap; PoolManager-only constructor) with a launch-rehearsal Foundry suite and an independent adversarial review, deploy them through the factory on Sepolia, then build the one-page site against the live pool.

Work

  1. Build contract projectAgent #617108 files changed

Implemented OWLN, BuyOnlyWindowHook, vendored dependencies, ABI exports, documentation, and factory-style launch tests.

Validation passed: forge build, forge fmt --check, 29 project tests, and 9 supplied protected checks. Project tests also pass with an empty environment and four threads.

The workflow omitted a numeric manifest price; the documented rehearsal assumes 1,000,000 OWLN per ETH and needs reconciliation with the final manifest.

  3. Adversarial reviewAgent #1731found 1 low, 1 info

I found no high or medium defects in BuyOnlyWindowHook or OWLN. I found two lower-severity ways to sell during the window, both allowed by the approved design, and wrote them to .imd-findings.json. It's the only file I wrote; it's ignored by git, so git status is clean. The existing suite passes (29/29). I ran the proof-of-concept tests in a scratch copy outside the repo and then deleted it.

    Findings, most severe first:

    1. Low – selling through a liquidity position during the window. A holder can get from OWLN to ETH before opensAt without making a sell swap:

      1. Buy 1 ETH of OWLN.
      2. Add OWLN-only liquidity at ticks [floor(tick/60)*60 − 600, floor(tick/60)*60], which is just below the current price. This deposits 874,177 OWLN and no ETH.
      3. Wait for another user to buy 50 ETH worth.
      4. Remove the position. The holder gets back 0.929 ETH and 0 OWLN, while sellsOpen is still false.

This works because the spec requires "no liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and remove at any time." Blocking it would mean changing that agreed design, so it's a scope decision, not a code fix. What's missing is disclosure: the README and site should say only swaps are blocked, not every way out.

    2. Info – WETH or other non-ETH pools on the same hook are never gated. This matches the spec, and the README already mentions it. The existing test test_nonEthPoolHasNoWindowNoEventAndTradesAllFourWays shows OWLN→WETH selling working during the window. It only works if someone supplies WETH to that pool.

What I checked and found no problem with:

    • Exact-output swaps that pay out ETH: receiving ETH means swapping in the other direction (zeroForOne == false). That's blocked whether the amount is positive or negative (tested for both, plus fuzzing). An exact-output buy only ever returns OWLN.
    • Other routers: the check ignores which router calls it and what extra data it sends, so any router or direct PoolManager call is blocked the same way (tested with a second router and spoofed data).
    • A second ETH pool on the same hook: it starts its own 300-block window when it's created, so it opens later than the launch pool. The launch pool can't be initialized again (PoolAlreadyInitialized), so its window can't be restarted or changed.
    • Can afterInitialize break the factory? It can only revert if the caller isn't the PoolManager. It has no checks on price, tick spacing, fee or token (fuzzed), and it does nothing that could fail. The factory's liquidity seed can't be blocked either, since there are no liquidity callbacks.
    • Off-by-one at opensAt: a pool created at block N gets opensAt = N + 300. Sells revert in blocks N through N+299 (exactly 300 blocks) and succeed at N+300. The tests cover opensAt − 1 and exactly opensAt.
    • Permanent lock: opensAt is always a fixed, finite block. There's no setter, admin or reset path, and swaps or liquidity changes don't move it (tested up to 10 million blocks later).
    • Other checks:
      • The ABI files match forge inspect.
      • The manifest price equals 1000·2^96.
      • The constructor argument is the Sepolia PoolManager.
      • The permissions are exactly bits 0x1080.

    • lowOWLN holders can sell OWLN for ETH during the window through a one-sided range order (add liquidity, let buyers fill it, remove it)src/BuyOnlyWindowHook.sol:78

beforeSwap only blocks swaps with zeroForOne == false. As the approved design requires, there are no liquidity callbacks. That means an OWLN holder can place OWLN-only liquidity just below the current price.

Later buys (ETH -> OWLN, which are allowed) move the price down through that range and turn the holder's OWLN into ETH. The holder then removes the position and receives ETH before opensAt. So early buyers can get out to ETH during the window, and the 'buy-only' guarantee covers the swap direction only.

It is not an exit lock. The approved spec explicitly allows adding and removing liquidity at any time, so this is not an implementation defect, and closing it would need a scope decision: a beforeAddLiquidity gate would conflict with 'LPs can add and remove at any time'. The README says liquidity can be removed during the lock but does not say that buyers can use it to exit.

The README and site disclosure should say that selling is blocked only for swaps on this pool.

      Setup: the repository's BuyOnlyWindowHookTest.setUp (factory launch at sqrtPriceX96 1000*2^96, seed [-887220,138120], L=1e23).

      Steps: (1) holder 0xA11CE calls PoolSwapTest.swap{value:1 ether}(key, SwapParams(true, -1e18, MIN_SQRT_PRICE+1), (false,false), "") and receives 983039.93 OWLN.

      (2) holder reads tick t from slot0, sets upper = floor(t/60)*60 (<= t) and lower = upper-600, then calls PoolModifyLiquidityTest.modifyLiquidity(key, (lower, upper, 3e22, 0), ""). amount0 == 0, so the holder deposits 874177.16 OWLN and no ETH.

      (3) buyer 0xB0B calls PoolSwapTest.swap{value:50 ether}(key, SwapParams(true, -50e18, MIN_SQRT_PRICE+1), ...).

      (4) holder calls modifyLiquidity(key, (lower, upper, -3e22, 0), "").

Observed in the same block as launch (block.number < opensAt, sellsOpen == false): the holder receives 0.929350519875251559 ETH and 0 OWLN, so all 874k deposited OWLN was sold for ETH inside the window.

Expected per the 'allows only buys' claim: no OWLN->ETH conversion before opensAt.

    • infoPools on the same hook whose currency0 is not native ETH (e.g. WETH/OWLN) are never gated, so OWLN can be sold for WETH during the windowsrc/BuyOnlyWindowHook.sol:61

This is the behavior the spec requires ('a pool on this hook whose currency0 is not native ETH gets zero deltas and no other effect'), and the README discloses it. It is still a way to sell during the window, which this review was asked to list. It only works if someone supplies WETH-side liquidity to that pool.

OWLN can also be sold in any hookless pool because the token is freely transferable. Neither route touches the launch pool's reserves.

Existing test test_nonEthPoolHasNoWindowNoEventAndTradesAllFourWays, with MockERC20 standing in for WETH: manager.initialize(PoolKey(sorted(OWLN, WETH), 3000, 60, hook), 2^96) emits no WindowSet and leaves opensAt == 0. After modifyLiquidity(-600, 600, 1000e18), an OWLN->WETH swap succeeds at the launch block, which is < opensAt of the ETH pool.

  5. Frontend for contractAgent #112962 files changed

Implemented source, static export, deployment manifest, and documentation.

Passed build/typecheck, 10 core tests, 12 browser scenarios, and live read-only swap simulation. No transactions broadcast. Complete delivery: 5.12 MB.

Commit aedf69d is in submission.bundle, since workspace .git is read-only.

Validation records the requirement conflicts: UniversalRouter follows the supplied network rule; design documentation is in docs/DESIGN.md because root writes are prohibited.
