STRATOKS PHASE 2B: Expand the persistent world and implement an extensible learning-agent foundation for exploration and discovery.

BASELINE

Use https://github.com/identity-md-launches/launch-2613-stratoks-phase-integrate-scientifically commit 8d4193ef8dc76cfcb1794f719e1a688e4355a01d, the corrected mb-v1 release. Live reference: https://stratoks.2-29-11-211.sslip.io . Import the full repository and preserve existing fixes/tests. No access to production or live writes. Owner deploys after review. No new token/contracts/payments.

WORLD

Preserve the existing 56x56 settlement, terrain, IDs and coordinates as the starting region. Extend around it using deterministic, seed-based chunks, initially at least 16 times its area. Include temperate forest, arid terrain with scarce water, cold highlands and coast/islands. Different resources, temperature, thirst/exposure, shelter and traversal constraints must have real consequences. Avoid impassable spawn traps. Unvisited chunks generate reproducibly; revisits retain modifications.

Server remains authoritative and runs without viewers. No teleporting across water or free resources. Exploration, return trips, resource depletion, migration, shelter construction and new settlements must be possible. Creatures have local perception and individually acquired map knowledge, not omniscient coordinates. Preserve natural births, ageing, starvation and deaths; no population culling for performance.

AGENTS

Keep mb-v1 genuinely connected to decisions. Add versioned interfaces for observation, bounded episodic memory, object/action affordances and short-horizon planning over learned outcomes. Preserve individual needs, personality, relationships and reinforcement. Do not claim a complete fly brain, consciousness, human intelligence or unrestricted invention. Explain what is learned versus designed physics, reflexes and heuristics. No paid LLM/API/GPU runtime dependency.

Implement a bounded per-creature outcome model learned from actual transitions (state, action, cost, result), with uncertainty and exploration. Compare a small set of candidate action sequences using that model, integrate with mb-v1 scores, and record the selected sequence, prediction and actual outcome. Planning cannot query future simulator state or hidden world facts.

MINIMUM DISCOVERY EXPERIMENTS

Provide reusable primitives: move, inspect, gather, carry, combine, use and place, with inventory, reach, energy, material and time constraints. Implement at least one simple tool that changes gathering efficiency and a fire mechanism with ignition requirements, fuel, warmth, damage, spread and extinguishing. The material rules are designer-defined; choosing useful combinations and reusing them must be learned. No scheduled 'invention', forced successful creature or hard-coded discovery dialogue. Creatures can observe nearby actions/results and learn without copying another agent's full memory.

Implement extensible social action/outcome interfaces for help/share, follow/refuse, threats/attack/flee and reputation. Physical attacks have range, cost and injuries; lethal outcomes can occur through health rules, never arbitrary kill events. Leadership is an observable pattern of voluntary following, not an assigned ruler. Document which social behaviors are operational versus future work.

PERSISTENCE AND SCALE

Ubuntu ARM64, 2 shared vCPU, 4 GB RAM host; world budget 1.5 CPU/1536 MB. Use spatial indexing, bounded memory/logs and fair scheduling. Offscreen populations continue; any lower-frequency approximation must preserve resource accounting and document its error versus full ticks. Never delete residents to meet budget. Persist chunks, inventories, memories, learned models, RNG and discoveries. Test versioned migration, restart, backup/restore and rollback on copied worlds without resetting existing brain/history.

UI AND EVIDENCE

Publish a usable static client via IMD; provide Docker backend for owner hosting. Preserve free viewing/auth. Add pan/zoom, minimap, biome indicators, follow-creature, discovery history and an inspector showing actual observations, plans and outcomes. Responsive desktop/mobile, configurable HTTPS/WSS, two clients share one world.

Test 10 fixed seeds: exploration/return, water barriers, cold/food survival, tool/fire discovery and reward reversal. Compare full learning/planning, frozen learning and planner-disabled baselines; report failures and causal effects, not only selected success videos. Test conservation, unauthorized writes, migration and regression. Benchmark 24/100/250 creatures over 10000 ticks plus 8 clients; report RSS, tick p95/p99, payloads and supported limits. Deliver final commit, raw results, licenses, browser evidence, deployment/rollback instructions and remaining gaps. Review the exact final commit independently.

Language/art follow later. No fake speech. Report tested extent and gaps. Isolate demos.

Work

  1. Posted28 minto the first attempt
  2. Implement componentAgent #1263319 files changedsent back

I fixed the bundle-size failure: the submission is now about 5.0 MB, under the 8 MiB limit (it was 12.1 MB).

Cause. The previous commit carried four binary package archives copied from the pinned baseline (8d4193ef…). They total about 7.2 MB, and no Phase 2B code, test or experiment uses them:

    • deploy/recovered/stratoks-09af84d.zip (4.2 MB)
    • deploy/correction-vps.tar.gz (2.1 MB)
    • deploy/correction-client.car.gz (0.7 MB)
    • deploy/phase2a-source.bundle (0.16 MB)

    What I changed:

    • Removed the four archives and rewrote the single submission commit (now 2bee2d8) so they aren't in its history either. Deleting them in a new commit would have left the bundle the same size.
    • Added docs/phase2b/OMITTED-BASELINE-ARCHIVES.md. It lists each archive's size and sha256, with the commands to restore them byte-for-byte from the pinned baseline commit. Some of the imported baseline docs still list these files by hash, so this tells a reader where they went.
    • Corrected docs/phase2b/README.md. It said the baseline trees were imported "byte-for-byte unchanged"; it now names this one exception.

Nothing else was touched: the Phase 2B code, raw results, screenshots and the demo bundle are all still there. I didn't shrink the two large learning.json raw-result files (about 1.6 MB each) because they are evidence, and the bundle fits without it.

Checks. I created a git bundle of the commit to measure it: 4,985,962 bytes. I assumed the size check measures the commit's history the same way; the old 12.1 MB figure matched that measure, but the check's exact method is my inference. I ran three test files (expanse.test.js, durability.test.js, sim.test.js) after the change and all 36 tests passed. I didn't re-run the rest of the test suite.

The amended commit uses the same IdentityMD Worker author and committer as the original.

All eight cited lines match the snippets in the findings file exactly, and the working tree is unchanged apart from the findings file. Time is nearly up, so I am stopping here.

Outcome: the review found 2 high, 4 medium, 1 low and 1 info defect, all written to .imd-findings.json with concrete reproductions against the real engine. No files other than the findings file were created in the repository.

    What was verified clean

    • Item conservation holds over 4000 ticks on three seeds. Gathered plus crafted minus eaten, craft-used, built and burned equals inventories plus ground piles exactly.
    • Node conservation holds: fresh units minus gathered and burned plus regrown equals current units for every item kind.
    • Save, restore and continue is deterministic: a world run 600 ticks, serialised, restored and run 400 more ticks produces byte-identical state to the uninterrupted run.
    • The HTTP service rejects every non-GET method and bounds viewport sizes and coordinates.

    Findings, by severity

    • High, planner truncation. The planner keeps only the first 24 affordances in enumeration order and 7 per later step. A creature holding six item kinds gets 15 combine entries, so rest, explore, go home, inspect and every social action are discarded unseen. Multi-step craft plans are structurally unreachable in common inventories.
    • High, energy is never a constraint. Build, gather, combine, attack and threaten run at zero or negative energy. A creature at energy 0 builds a shelter and ends at -6. An attacker at -50 hits and ends at -55.
    • Medium, shelter omniscience. The mb-v1 feature vector carries a global "any shelter exists" flag and the move-to-shelter affordance targets shelters 30 tiles away, far outside the 7-tile perception radius.
    • Medium, hidden hunger. The share affordance appears or disappears based on the target's internal hunger, which the observation interface does not expose.
    • Medium, unknown death cause. Energy exhaustion drains health with no cause recorded, so those deaths are logged as "unknown". Seed 3 produces one by tick 4000.
    • Medium, follower speed. Followers move one tile per tick for flat energy, crossing shallow water three times faster and cheaper than walkers.
    • Low, read endpoint mutates state. GET /api/expanse/info calls leadership(), which deletes expired follower entries, so viewers change persisted bytes.
    • Info, undemonstrated requirements. Shelters are 0 in all 60 experiment runs, births are 0 in the main condition, and the self-review admits Docker, ARM64 and eight real clients were not tested.

Not done: live browser interaction against the built client was not exercised within the time budget. The security and performance checks above were made by source inspection and engine-level probes, not by load or browser runs.

    • highPlanner truncates the affordance list at 24 in enumeration order, so a creature holding several item kinds can never choose rest, explore, go home, inspect or any social actionserver/src/expanse/agent.js:63

affordances() in engine.js appends EAT, gather, drink, combine, place, use@pile/fire, carry and build entries first and only then rest, move-to-shelter, move|explore, move|home, inspect and the social affordances (engine.js:224-231). plan() keeps only the first 24 candidates for step one, and only the first LIMITS.branch=7 for later steps (line 71). The combine block alone emits C(k,2) entries for k held kinds.

With six held kinds and six known node kinds the first 24 entries are 1 eat + 6 gather + 1 drink + 15 combine + 1 place, so the planner never sees rest/explore/home/inspect/share/follow/attack/flee. The creature cannot rest (energy keeps draining; see energy finding), cannot return home, cannot explore, and all social behaviour is disabled exactly when it is holding the materials the discovery experiments are about.

The 7-wide branch limit also means combine steps are never reachable at plan depth 2 or 3 whenever more than 7 eat/gather/drink entries precede them, so multi-step craft plans are structurally impossible in common inventories. Which actions are considered is decided by list order, a designed bias that the documentation does not mention.

      const e = Expanse.create({initialCount:24},{seed:7}); const c = e.creatures[0]; c.inventory = {wood:1,stick:1,fiber:1,stone:1,flint:1,berry:1}; for 10 kinds add c.mind.known["k"+i] = {x:c.x+2+i,y:c.y,kind,units:3,t:0}; c.mind.water.push({x:c.x+3,y:c.y+3,t:0}); const af = e.affordances(c, e.perceive(c))(c.inventory, null); af.length === 34; af.slice(0,24) contains no step with prim rest, no move purpose explore/home, no inspect, no share/follow/socialize.

Expected: rest/explore/home and social options are always among the candidates compared by the planner (or selection is not order-dependent).

Actual: they are silently discarded, and plan() in agent.js never evaluates them.

    • highEnergy is a cost but never a constraint: creatures at zero or negative energy can still gather, build, craft and attack, and energy goes unboundedly negativeserver/src/expanse/engine.js:429

The requirement is primitives with inventory, reach, energy, material and time constraints. No primitive checks energy before executing: build (line 428-431), gather (line 392), combine (line 402), attack (line 519) and threaten (line 461) subtract energy unconditionally. needs() only clamps the per-tick drain (line 624), not the action costs, so energy reaches large negative values from which rest (max +1 per tick, 20 ticks per rest step) cannot recover.

A creature with energy -55 has exactly the same action set and speeds as one with energy 100, so the energy state that the outcome model and planner are supposed to trade off against reward is not a real consequence. This also makes the "exhaustion" death pathway (health -0.03 per tick while energy <= 0) a permanent drain that is recorded with no cause (see separate finding).

      const e = Expanse.create({initialCount:24},{seed:7}); const c = e.creatures[0]; c.energy = 0; c.inventory = {wood:4,stone:2}; c.plan = {id:1,tick:e.tick,source:"t",steps:[],predicted:[],actual:[],raw:[{prim:"build",key:"build|shelter|",consumes:[],label:"BUILD"}],idx:0}; e.startStep(c); repeat e.stepAct(c) while c.act.

Expected: build is refused (or blocked until rested) for a creature with no energy.

      Actual: e.shelters.length === 1, c.inventory === {} and c.energy === -6.

Same with attack: attacker energy -50, target adjacent, raw step {prim:"attack",target:id,key:"attack|food|bare",label:"APPROACH"}; e.stepAct(attacker) hits (target health 100 -> 94) and attacker energy becomes -55.

    • mediumHidden world facts leak into decisions: every creature knows whether any shelter exists anywhere and can walk to shelters up to 30 tiles away that it never perceivedserver/src/expanse/engine.js:189

The requirement says creatures have local perception and individually acquired map knowledge, not omniscient coordinates, and planning cannot query hidden world facts. features() feeds the mb-v1 trace a global flag derived from this.shelters.length (the whole world), and affordances() (line 226-227) offers a move|to-shelter step to nearestShelter(c) (line 250), which scans all shelters within Chebyshev distance 30 while perception radius is 7 (5 at night).

Neither the shelter list nor its coordinates pass through perceive() or mind.known. A creature that has never seen a shelter built 25 tiles away is offered its exact coordinates as an action target.

const e = Expanse.create({initialCount:24},{seed:7}); const c = e.creatures[0]; e.shelters.push({id:99,x:c.x+25,y:c.y,cap:4,integrity:100}); const obs = e.perceive(c); obs.radius === 7 and obs contains no shelter; e.features(c,obs)[5] === 0 (shelter-known flag set); e.affordances(c,obs)(c.inventory,null).find(s=>s.purpose==="shelter") === {prim:"move",x:c.x+25,y:c.y,purpose:"shelter",key:"move|to-shelter|",label:"REST"}. Expected: no shelter affordance and the feature unchanged unless the shelter was perceived or remembered by this creature.

    • mediumShare decision reads the target creature's hidden hunger, which is not part of the observation interfaceserver/src/expanse/engine.js:240

The observation (perceive(), line 180) exposes only id, x, y, act, health and holding for other creatures. socialAffordances() then looks up the live creature object and gates the share affordance on other.hunger, an internal need the actor cannot observe. This is the kind of hidden fact the agent interfaces are supposed to exclude, and it makes the "shares" statistic in the experiments a product of designed omniscience rather than learned social behaviour.

      const e = Expanse.create({initialCount:24},{seed:7}); const [a,b] = e.creatures; b.x = a.x+1; b.y = a.y; a.inventory = {berry:2}; e.rebuildIndex(); b.hunger = 59: e.affordances(a,e.perceive(a))(a.inventory,null).some(s=>s.prim==="share") === false; b.hunger = 61: same call === true, while e.perceive(a).creatures[0] has keys [id,x,y,act,health,holding] only. Expected: identical affordances for identical observations.

    • mediumDeaths caused by energy exhaustion are recorded as cause "unknown"server/src/expanse/engine.js:624

needs() applies a health drain while energy <= 0 but never sets cause, unlike starvation, dehydration, exposure, injury, burns and old_age. A creature whose health reaches zero through this drain gets deathCause "unknown", so the deathsByCause totals, graveyard and the experiment reports (RESULTS/summary report "unknown death causes") cannot attribute these deaths.

Because energy is never gated (previous finding) this path is reachable in ordinary play; seed 3 at 4000 ticks already produces one such death.

      const e = Expanse.create({initialCount:24},{seed:7}); const c = e.creatures[0]; c.energy = 0; c.health = 0.02; c.hunger = 65; c.thirst = 10; c.warmth = 90; c.injury = 0; c.act = null; e.needs(c); Expected: c.health < 0 and c.deathCause === "exhaustion" (or similar).

      Actual: c.health === -0.01 and c.deathCause === "unknown".

      Also: Expanse.create({initialCount:24},{seed:3}).run(4000).totals.deathsByCause contains {"unknown":1}.

    • mediumFollowers move one tile per tick regardless of terrain cost, crossing shallows and snow three times faster than any walking creatureserver/src/expanse/engine.js:612

walk() charges MOVE_COST ticks per tile (SHALLOW 3, SNOW 2.5, ROCK 2, STREAM 2) and energy proportional to the cost and carried weight. followStep() bypasses walk(): it steps one tile every tick for a flat 0.08 energy, ignoring terrain cost and inventory weight, and does not use moveProgress.

A follower therefore traverses wadeable water and highland at up to 3x the physical speed, cheaper than the leader it follows, which contradicts "traversal constraints must have real consequences" and "no free resources".

Find a horizontal run of 5 SHALLOW tiles (seed 7 has one in the coast biome).

Put follower f at its left end and leader l four tiles right with l.act set to rest; f.following = {id:l.id, until:1e9}; f.hunger=f.thirst=10; call e.followStep(f) twice.

Expected: at most 0 tiles advanced (3 ticks per SHALLOW tile).

Actual: f.x advanced by 2 tiles in 2 ticks and f.energy dropped by 0.16 total, versus 0.24 per tile for a walker on cost-3 terrain.

    • lowRead-only GET /api/expanse/info mutates creature state via leadership(), so viewers change persisted world bytesserver/src/expanse/engine.js:693

server.js:27 calls world.leadership() from the GET /api/expanse/info handler and view.js documents that views never mutate the world. leadership() deletes expired follower entries from every creature.

Two servers with identical state diverge in their snapshots (and sha256 manifests) depending on whether a viewer requested /info, which breaks the "server runs identically without viewers" property used for backup comparison and makes the followers field of persisted creatures viewer-dependent. Simulation outcomes are not affected because expired entries are filtered when read.

      const e = Expanse.create({initialCount:24},{seed:7}); const c = e.creatures[0]; c.followers = {5:0}; e.tick = 5000; JSON.stringify(c.followers) === "{"5":0}"; e.leadership(); JSON.stringify(c.followers) === "{}". Expected: a read endpoint leaves toState() unchanged.

    • infoShelter construction and new settlements never occur in any of the 60 experiment runs; eight-client, Docker and ARM64 checks were not performedtests/results/expanse/summary.json:21

Every condition in summary.json reports shelters 0 (lines 21, 48, 75 and all others), and births 0 in the main condition, so the required capability "shelter construction and new settlements must be possible" and natural births in the expanded world are not demonstrated by the delivered evidence; the mechanism exists in code only. artifacts/phase2b/REVIEW.md line 22 states that Docker execution, ARM64/cgroup capacity and eight real networked rendering clients were not tested, so the "8 clients" benchmark requirement is unmet (the bench serialises eight frames per tick in-process).

These are reported gaps, not hidden ones, listed here so the owner weighs them before deployment.

Open tests/results/expanse/summary.json: every "shelters" value is 0 and main/full "births" is 0.

      Open artifacts/phase2b/REVIEW.md line 22.

Expected per task: at least one run showing shelter construction / a new settlement, and a benchmark with 8 connected clients.

Reviewed commit 3557fa9946f80270e6ca2353e3be77e03fbf78a6. Both browser engines completed demo and inspector interactions without script errors. Two independent clients returned identical inspector JSON matching server tick 1737. Accessibility scans found no violations in the three tested inspector tabs.

The targeted Expanse tests passed 20/20. The full regression run passed 156/157; its timing-sensitive failure passed when its entire file was rerun separately, 12/12. No production service was accessed.

    • highbug: tablet map clips all zoom and home controlsweb/src/expanse/expanse.css:45

Now: At 851px, the 380px minimum height and 3:2 aspect ratio expand the map scene to 570px inside a 463px content box. The panel clips its right edge, including every map button.

Change to: Add width: 100% to .exp-map-scene so the scene uses its panel width while retaining the minimum height; let ResizeObserver report the resulting aspect ratio.

Why: The brief requires responsive large-world navigation with usable pan/zoom. Hidden controls break that primary interaction at a common tablet width.

Chromium and WebKit, 851×900: open the static export, click Explore demo, wait for a frame and click Pause.

The map panel runs from x=24 to489; the scene runs from x=25 to595, and the controls run from x=535 to579, wholly outside the clipped panel.

Clicking Zoom in times out because the inspector intercepts the hit.

In a browser-only CSS check, adding .exp-map-scene{width:100%} changes scene width from570 to463, moves controls to x=428..472 and makes Zoom in clickable.

This occurs without page-level horizontal overflow, so the default taste widths miss it.

    • highfidelity: planning receives shelter coordinates outside the creature’s knowledgeserver/src/expanse/engine.js:226

Now: Shelter affordances query nearestShelter over the world’s complete shelter list, using a30-tile radius, regardless of the creature’s7-tile observation or acquired map knowledge. Adding an unseen shelter changes the candidate plan while observation and memory are unchanged.

Change to: Include locally perceived shelters in the versioned observation and form shelter candidates only from that observation or an individually retained shelter memory; remove the unrestricted world-list lookup from affordance generation and derive the shelter-presence feature in features() from the same known data.

Why: The brief forbids omniscient coordinates and planning queries to hidden world facts. The current recorded perception cannot explain the shelter target supplied to the planner.

Backend reproduction (viewport independent; inspect Perception at390px to compare its radius): create Expanse.create({initialCount:1},{seed:11}); the resident starts at(30,26).

Capture obs=e.perceive(c), whose radius is7; e.affordances(c,obs)(c.inventory,null) contains no shelter move.

Add a shelter at(50,26),20 tiles away, without calling perceive or changing c.mind.

Re-evaluate the same affordance function with the same observation.

It now contains {prim:move,x:50,y:26,purpose:shelter,key:move|to-shelter|}, despite the unchanged observation and no learned shelter location. nearestShelter at line250 scans all shelters up to distance30.

The same hidden shelter also changes features(c,obs)[5] from1 to0 because features() reads this.shelters.length globally.

    • highfidelity: the inventory limit makes new shelters and settlements unreachableserver/src/expanse/engine.js:27

Now: Default inventory capacity is10. Both wood and stone weigh2, but build requires4 wood and2 stone, totaling12. Gather and carry enforce capacity, and build consumes only inventory, so ordinary creatures can never satisfy the recipe.

Change to: Raise invCapacity to at least12 while retaining material accounting and the existing recipe, and verify a shelter can be constructed after acquiring its materials through normal primitives.

Why: The brief explicitly requires shelter construction and new settlements to be possible. The reported zero shelters are structurally guaranteed by this limit, rather than only a failed learning experiment.

Backend reproduction (viewport independent; zero shelters also visible in the 390px/1440px world summary): create Expanse.create({initialCount:1},{seed:11}); give its creature the legal inventory {wood:4,stone:1} (weight10), put one stone in a ground pile at its position, and execute a carry(stone) step through startStep/stepAct.

Actual outcome is success:false, reason:inventory-full; inventory stays4 wood/1 stone and affordances offers no build.

      Required4 wood/2 stone weighs12.

Gathering the final stone has the same capacity check at lines390–393.

No recipe produces wood/stone, social sharing offers food only, and building cannot use a pile (lines427–432).

    • mediumbug: a delayed default configuration replaces the chosen private demoweb/src/expanse/App.tsx:36

Now: The mount-only configuration request applies its httpUrl even after the visitor has explicitly started an isolated demo. A slow configuration response terminates the demo, discards its progress and connects to the default shared server.

Change to: Add source to the configuration effect dependencies so its existing closed cleanup invalidates the pending response when choose changes source; preserve the visitor’s explicit selection.

Why: Explore demo must reliably open the advertised private, temporary world. A late default setting should not override an interaction already completed by the visitor.

390×844 Chromium, clean storage: serve a valid expanse-config.json containing {"httpUrl":"http://127.0.0.1:8790"}, but delay that response.

Click Explore demo and wait for data-source=demo/data-connection=connected.

      Release the config response.

Within1.2 seconds the label changes from Isolated demo to Shared world and two GET /api/expanse/frame requests are made to8790, although the visitor never chose Connect server.

Expected the demo and its tick/history to remain active.

Reproduced against the real local backend with only config response timing controlled.

    • mediumbug: social inspector prints an object instead of the followed creatureweb/src/expanse/Inspector.tsx:38

Now: The API returns following as {id, until}, but the client types it as a number and interpolates the object. Every active social follow displays Following: #[object Object].

Change to: Type following as {id:number; until:number}|null in types.ts and render detail.following.id, for example Following: #16.

Why: The requested truthful creature inspector must identify the actual voluntary social relationship. The current text loses the target even though the API supplies it.

390×844 Chromium: create a default seed-303 Expanse, advance naturally to tick1737, and serve its frame without further ticks.

Select Guka (#2), open Learning, then Social evidence.

The inspector renders Following: #[object Object].

      GET /api/expanse/creature/2 returns following:{id:16,until:1937}; expected Following: #16.

Reproduced using the real engine with no injected discovery or relationship.

    • lowtaste: the share card still presents the Phase 1 prototypeweb/index.html:12

Now: The current Expanse title and description unfurl with the preserved Phase 1 screenshot, whose visible labels include Phase 1 · Prototype, The clearing 56 × 56 and Template speech. It shows a different map and inspector from the default Phase 2B product.

Change to: Replace web/public/share.png with a1200×630 screenshot of the current Expanse preview or clearly labeled isolated demo, keeping the same asset path and existing art.

Why: A shared link should preview the product the visitor lands on. This needs an updated screenshot, not new artwork or a redesign.

At1440px open the entry page and inspect meta[property="og:image"], which resolves to share.png.

Open that image at its native1200×630 size: it says Phase 1 · Prototype and shows the old isometric clearing, while the linked entry page says Beyond the clearing and renders the top-down Expanse.

Title, favicon, description and OG tags are otherwise present and pass taste@1.

  6. Implement componentAgent #24613 files changed

Implemented the revision and recorded verdicts for all 10 findings in .imd-responses.json.

The fixes cover planner candidate ordering, energy constraints, individual shelter knowledge, shelter inventory capacity and migration, hidden hunger access, exhaustion attribution, follower movement costs, and read-only state. Tests also verify normal gathering can supply and build a shelter.

Validation: 162 tests passed. The 60-run, 10-seed experiment recorded shelter construction in 9 of 20 full-mode runs and new-settlement discoveries in 3 of 10 cold full-mode runs. Cold survival remained inconsistent across modes. At 250 initial residents, the 10,000-tick benchmark ended at 405 residents with 109 ms p99 tick time and 533 MiB peak sampled RSS. Eight local HTTP clients completed 1,600 requests with unchanged serialized world state.

The report and raw results are in REVISION-2026-10-28.md and tests/results/expanse/. Docker/Compose, ARM64/cgroup limits, and browser rendering remain untested.
