Those five failures are environmental: my isolated copy lacks the sibling
mint/directory the Mint-integration tests import, so they are not defects in the fixed source. The review is complete and the findings file is written.Outcome: the five accepted fixes in commit e5f1743 hold up. I found one info-level consistency gap and no fund-moving defect. The findings file at the repository root holds that single entry.
Historical reproduction. Reversing the baseline-to-fix patch onto an isolated copy and running the project's audit9 regression file gave the expected result for World 1015b2c5: all six behavioural assertions fail there (unsupported legacy challenge and pay both succeed and debit, backward clock above route start returns a private body, reconcile returns success after logout, an unverified session reads its report, the owner publishes an unservable enabled service). On the fixed source the same file plus the boundary matrix pass.
Run on fixed source Result audit9 + boundaries-audit9 128 pass, 0 fail GOLD, session, ledger, inventory, campaign, balances files 279 pass, 5 env-only fails (missing mint/sibling)What I verified beyond the project's tests, each with a concrete probe:
- M1: challenge and pay refuse an unsupported pending service before any debit, the SQL predicate binds the immutable linked product against
json_eachof the trusted list, and an empty list closes all new services while an omitted list keeps helper compatibility. A committed payment retried after a late logout, with a new session and an empty provider list, returns the paid receipt with no second debit. Two concurrent challenges paid concurrently produce one debit and oneIDEMPOTENCY_CONFLICT. A challenge capped at the order expiry is refused at the exact expiry millisecond and accepted one millisecond earlier. - L1/L3: a transient invalid clock mid-request stays failed through recovery and returns 503 with no order created and no private body, on both the new quote route and the legacy private read. The report route authenticates with the shared verified-session predicate before touching the provider.
- L2: reconcile by the owning wallet for a paid service order whose job row is missing recreates the queued job even with no provider installed, and another wallet gets
ACCOUNT_MISMATCH. - I1: a new enabled unsupported service definition is refused and the product count is unchanged, while a fresh fortune quote stays closed.
The one finding (info). The
controlcommand that switches the globalservicefeature on is gated only by the boolean readiness, not by the product list. With a provider object whose product list is empty, an owner can enable the feature, and the state view then reports delivery ready while every quote and legacy challenge is refused. No GOLD moves and nothing is created or deleted. The fix is to derive both the control readiness and the state view's readiness flag from the same product-scoped predicate the product branch now uses. The reproduction, expected versus observed responses and the regression are in the findings entry.Limits. Node SQLite fixtures stand in for native D1. I did not run the Mint-service, workerd, or full-suite runs, and this review makes no load-capacity or real-wallet payment claim. Nothing in the repository was changed other than writing the findings file.

.imd-findings.json.Outcome. The five accepted findings from job a211537e are fixed in World source e5f17432. No new math, precision, boundary, or numerical-gap defect was found in the GOLD ledger. One info-level operational inconsistency was substantiated and recorded.
Historical reproduction. I rebuilt the 1015b2c5 baseline in a temp directory by reversing the exact remediation patch in context/. All six audit9 regression assertions fail there (both M1 legacy routes debit an unserved product, backward clock returns 200 on new reads, reconcile returns success after logout, an unverified session reads its report, the owner publishes an unserved service). On the fixed source the same file passes, together with the session, API, boundary, and balance suites, 155 of 156 passing. The one failure is environmental: economy-payment-timing imports the contracts runtime, which needs a separate dependency install under contracts/ that this review did not perform.
Boundary probes run against the fixed source, all behaving as specified:
- Pay at exactly challenge expiry and at exactly order expiry refuses with no journal row; one millisecond earlier succeeds. Late challenges are capped to order expiry. Quote retry and new challenge at order expiry refuse.
- Mint hold at exactly the book balance is accepted and leaves zero available; a hold of balance plus one aborts; a service debit against a fully held balance fails with no journal row.
- Session expiry equal to the late revalidation sample returns 401 with an error-only body on the gold, state, and balances reads. A transient clock regression followed by recovery stays failed and answers 503.
- Stake at a UTC midnight and withdraw at the next midnight earn exactly one full day; the following day earns nothing.
- Reward capacity at exactly int64 max credits; one more is held as an owed entitlement and reported as capacity, with the book unchanged.
- Cron credit then HTTP reconcile, and HTTP then cron, keep exactly one credit each. A logout during the legacy pay response commits once, and a replay returns the receipt without a second debit. An already-paid replay while service is paused and with an empty provider list returns the receipt; a fresh challenge with an empty list refuses before any debit.
The recorded finding (info). The HTTP reconcile route passes an order id to reconcileWorldGold, which then ignores the stored retry backoff that the minute cron honours. A credit that keeps failing on capacity can be re-driven on every authenticated request. Each attempt increments the attempts counter and pushes retry_ms forward. No GOLD moves and the caller must own the order and pass the rate limiter. The reproduction and a minimal fix are in the findings file.
Not covered. Load capacity, native D1, real-wallet payments, and the unchanged mainnet contracts were not exercised beyond reading the source. Scratch probes live under test/scratch/ and are not part of the submission.

Review complete. The findings file at the repository root holds two substantiated items, and no tracked file was changed.
Verdict on the five accepted findings. All five remediations hold on source e5f17432 under the edge cases the brief lists. The historical failures are reproduced only by the retained red log and the original report; on this source the author's audit9 regression files pass (128 tests) and my own probes could not break them:
- M1: a fortune quote challenged under a provider list that included fortune, then paid after the list shrank to research, is refused with 503 before any debit, the challenge stays unconsumed, and the same signature pays once the provider is re-added. Two challenges with different request ids racing to pay produce exactly one journal and one job, with the loser getting an idempotency conflict. An already-paid order replayed over HTTP while the service feature is paused and the provider removed returns the paid order with no second debit, and a new challenge for it is refused as already paid.
- L1/L3: every affected route builds its clock inside the try boundary, every later sample goes through the sticky helper, and the final session read compares expiry against the sample taken after that read. Expired or revoked sessions on the legacy and new reads return a body with only an error key.
- L2: reconcile returns 401 after a logout committed during the awaits, the owed topup credit is committed exactly once across cron and an authenticated retry, a capacity failure answers 409 after revalidation with no credit, and another wallet's order is refused.
- I1: enabling a new fortune service version is refused, a disabled fortune definition and a topup with an empty provider list are accepted, and a later enabled version is still refused.
Findings written.
- Low, world-gold-api.ts line 58. The state reply publishes a historical enabled service product the installed provider cannot serve, with one global deliveryReady flag that reads true, while the quote for it is always 503. No GOLD moves. Fix is a per-product serviceable flag or filtering by the trusted product list.
- Info, world-gold-api.ts line 65. Enabling the service feature is gated only on the global provider boolean. With a provider whose product list is empty, the control succeeds and records evidence while every quote and legacy pay is refused. Fix is to require the product list to admit at least one result-contract product.
Coverage limits. I traced the HTTP control flow, ledger SQL guards, reconciliation, delivery claim and finish, refund entitlement, and the admin product and control branches. I did not re-derive the staking UTC settlement arithmetic, the recovery planner, or the Mint hold settlement beyond reading their guards, and I ran no native D1 or contract suites. A clean pass on the five remediations is not proof that no other defects exist in those untraced areas.

Outcome
The five accepted findings from job a211537e (M1, L1, L2, L3, I1) are fixed in World source e5f1743. I ran the 128 added regressions in the two audit9 test files against the fixed source with the exact lock on Node 24, and all pass, including the six red reproductions that failed on the 1015b2c5 baseline. I then traced the fix independently rather than relying on those tests.
What holds up
- M1: both legacy GOLD functions receive the trusted provider list from the same Worker dependency object as the quote route. The JavaScript guard refuses before any debit, and the challenge INSERT and the debit batch independently bind the immutable linked product against
json_eachof the list. Empty lists refuse all new services, omitted lists keep the standalone behaviour, already-paid replays return idempotently while paused or after provider change, and no new charge, deleted right or invented refund appears. - L1/L3: the shared clock is sticky, nondecreasing and safe-integer, and every affected route revalidates token, wallet, exact expiry, wallet type and method after I/O with the expiry compared against a post-read sample. Report authentication happens before any provider call.
- L2: reconcile revalidates after the idempotent repair and answers 401 after a concurrent logout, while cron and an authenticated retry still credit exactly once.
- I1: enabled service definitions now require product-scoped readiness; disabled definitions and topups keep their own rules.
- Session addresses are stored lowercase, so the three SQL live-session guards agree on casing.
What I found: four low findings, one family
The release states that lost authority answers 401 with no private body. That is true for every read and for the legacy challenge route, but when a logout commits between a write route's last session revalidation and its atomic D1 batch, the atomic guard correctly writes nothing yet the status misreports the cause:
Route Observed Expected POST /api/gold/quote, /api/gold/admin 503 GOLD_UNAVAILABLE 401 POST /api/economy/orders/:id/gold (pay) 409 PAYMENT_UNAVAILABLE 401 POST /api/me/inventory 409 REVISION_CONFLICT 401 POST /api/me/aimarket-campaign 503 CAMPAIGN_UNAVAILABLE 401 No GOLD moves and no private data leaks in any case, so severity is low. The inventory case is the most misleading because a client treats it as a revision race and resubmits. Each finding in
.imd-findings.jsoncarries the exact session-read hook, request, deps, expected versus observed, and a minimal fix: revalidate the session after a zero-change or constraint-aborted batch and answer 401, or have the ledger helpers translate a failed live-session predicate into AUTH_REQUIRED.Limits
No Solidity changed in this release, so no Foundry proof applies. I ran only the audit9 regressions plus my own probes, not the full World suite, native D1 or portable runs; those remain the requester's separate evidence. Load capacity and real-wallet payments were not assessed.

The review is finished. All eight specialist findings reproduce on the fixed source (e5f1743). I merged them into five findings, all of them low or info, and wrote them to
.imd-findings.json. None of them moves GOLD, creates a charge, deletes a right or exposes private data. I made no changes to the repository.Kept findings (most severe first)
- Low: a lost session shows up as a 503 outage, not 401, on quote, admin and campaign writes. If the user logs out after the last session check but before the database write, the in-database session guard correctly blocks the write. But the raw database error isn't recognised, so the user gets 503
GOLD_UNAVAILABLEorCAMPAIGN_UNAVAILABLE(world-gold-api.ts:73,aimarket-campaign.ts:44). The legacy challenge route answers the same race with 401. This merges two specialist findings. - Low: the same race returns 409 on legacy pay and the inventory write. The write matches zero rows and does nothing, but the reply is 409
PAYMENT_UNAVAILABLE(economy-ledger.ts:328) orREVISION_CONFLICT(inventory.ts:103) instead of 401. The balance stays at 10, no job or arrangement is written, and a GET afterwards returns 401, which confirms the session was the cause. This merges two specialist findings. - Info: the admin can switch the service feature on when the provider serves no products. The product-scoped check only covers product definitions. With an empty product list, the enable command returns 200 and
/api/gold/statereportsdeliveryReady:true, while every quote returns 503 (world-gold-api.ts:65). This merges the duplicate economics and flow findings. The production adapter always lists['research'], so it takes a provider with an empty list to trigger it. - Info: the state view still lists old enabled service products the provider can't serve. For example, an earlier
fortune:1row is shown with a price anddeliveryReady:true, but its quote returns 503 (world-gold-api.ts:58). - Info: the HTTP reconcile route skips the retry delay that cron respects. After a balance-capacity failure, three HTTP retries raised the attempt count from 1 to 4 (
world-gold.ts:76). Cron correctly waited. This may be an intended manual-retry design, so it is filed as an operational note.
Each finding gives the exact fixture setup, request, expected result and observed result. None carries a Foundry proof: all the code involved is TypeScript, and none is high or critical.
What I checked
- Test runs: my probe tests ran in an isolated copy of
world-sourceinstalled from its exact lockfile on Node 24.21. The shipped regression files I ran (audit9 boundaries, audit9, audit5, read-session and GOLD API) passed 157 of 158. The one failure, Audit L8, is an artifact of my copy: it importsmint/service/chain.mjs, which isn't next to it. It is not a code defect. - M1 SQL: the parameter binding order in the challenge and pay statements matches their placeholders. The product-support check runs before an existing challenge is reused. An already-paid replay returns before the paused or provider check, so it doesn't charge twice.
- L1/L3 clock: the shared request clock refuses invalid or backward times and stays refused afterwards.
What I didn't do
- I did not re-run the original failures against the baseline 1015b2c5.
- I did not run the full suite or the native D1 tests.
- I make no load-capacity or real-wallet payment claim.
- I did not verify deployment or publication status.
