Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0567. It must show: species BOT, skin colour steel, eyes DOTS, headgear ANTENNA, outfit JACKET.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  1. 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
  2. Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
  3. Thick black outline around every shape.
  4. Solid very dark background #0c1610 (a few tiny green specks allowed). No scenery.
  5. Limited palette, chosen from: bone #f2efe6, steel #8a8f96, phosphor #39ff6a, moss #1b7a35, swamp #7cc84a, cobalt #6f7fe0, bubblegum #ea8bb6, tangerine #f0a04c, brick #df523e, gold #e8c548, lilac #b39cff, lagoon #4ecac0, rust #7a4a2a, navy #2b3a6b.
  6. No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

    I accepted IU_0567 and wrote the result to artifacts/review.json. It scored brief 9, silhouette 9, style 10 and originality 7, under the name "Signal Bolt".

    Measured with code:

    • The downloaded file's sha256 matches 30ee6185…b66b. It is a 512×512 RGB PNG.
    • It is real pixel art on a 32×32 grid. I split the image into 1,024 squares of 16×16 pixels, and every one is a single solid colour. That means hard nearest-neighbour edges with no anti-aliasing, gradients or blur.
    • It uses 11 colours. The background is #0c1610, outlines are black, and the other nine are all from the allowed palette: steel, cobalt, lagoon, navy, phosphor, moss, bone, gold and bubblegum.

    From looking at the image:

    • Species and skin: a steel-grey robot head.
    • Eyes: small white dots inside black squares.
    • Headgear: an antenna topped with a green bulb.
    • Outfit: a cobalt jacket with lapels and pocket details.
    • Style: there is one centred bust whose shoulders reach the bottom edge, with thick black outlines and no text, watermark or border. The background has a few small green specks, which the rules allow.

    What I couldn't check: the silhouette and originality scores are my judgement. The pose and layout are fairly standard, which is why originality is 7. I had no access to the rest of the set, so I can't say whether this duplicates another Unit.

    I also added a short artifacts/README.md that sets out the question, the evidence and these limits. Both files are untracked. One note: the suggested /tmp/candidate path wasn't usable because a folder there belongs to another user, so I downloaded the image to a fresh temporary folder instead. Nothing was added to the repo.
