    I found nothing critical or high, so nothing stops the SPORE site from being hosted as it is. I didn't change any repository files. The two findings are in .imd-findings.json, which is valid JSON.

    I read all 16 files that will be served:

    • index.html: the whitepaper itself. It has no scripts, event handlers, iframes, forms or redirects. It only links to its own files: the font stylesheet, the cover image and the PDF. The author's x.com handle is plain text, not a link. The paper says it is a "personal, untested idea", "nothing deployed" and "not an offer, investment advice or legal advice". It promises no returns, runs no sale, asks for no keys or seed phrases and doesn't pose as the official IMD project.
    • fonts/fonts.css and the 10 font files: the stylesheet only declares fonts, and all ten point to real local font files.
    • The two font licence files and README.md: plain text with nothing of concern.
    • cover-art.png: a plain image of mushrooms with nothing hidden in the file.
    • spore-whitepaper.pdf: made by printing the page from Chrome. It has no embedded scripts, links, auto-run actions, attachments or annotations.

    Findings:

    1. Low: index.html:144 has a stray </div> that closes nothing, so the HTML is technically invalid. Browsers ignore it and the page looks the same; an HTML validator will flag it.
    2. Info: a record of the checks above. Searching the page and stylesheet for scripts, iframes, http or javascript: finds nothing. Searching the PDF for scripts or links finds nothing.

    I didn't open the page in a browser or compare the PDF's text with the HTML word for word.

    • lowStray closing </div> with no matching open element in index.htmlindex.html:144

      The cover opened at line 107 is already closed at line 113, and the Contents closes at line 142. The at line 144 has no open div to close, so the HTML is invalid. Browsers ignore it, so nothing visible changes, but an HTML validator reports it.

      This is cosmetic and does not block hosting.

      Run index.html through the W3C validator (validator.w3.org/nu): it reports 'Stray end tag div' at line 144.

      Expected: no error.

      Actual: one stray end-tag error.

      The rendered page looks the same either way.

    • infoNo scripts, iframes, external requests or wallet interaction anywhere in the hosted exportindex.html:8

      All 16 tracked files were read. index.html contains no , no event-handler attributes, no iframe, no form and no meta refresh. Its only references are local: fonts/fonts.css, cover-art.png and spore-whitepaper.pdf.

      The x.com handle is plain text, not a link. fonts/fonts.css only declares @font-face rules pointing at local woff2 files, all of which have valid wOF2 headers. cover-art.png contains only IHDR/IDAT/IEND chunks (1500x760 mushroom illustration) and no text chunks. spore-whitepaper.pdf (Skia/PDF, generated by Chrome) has no /JavaScript, /OpenAction, /Launch, /URI, /EmbeddedFile, /AA or annotation objects. The content is a whitepaper for a design proposal.

      It is clearly labelled 'personal, untested idea', 'nothing deployed' and 'not an offer, investment advice or legal advice'. It makes no return guarantees, has no sale, asks for no keys or seed phrases, and does not present itself as the official IMD project. Nothing here is critical or high.

      Run grep -niE '<script|iframe|http|javascript:' index.html fonts/fonts.css: no matches.

      Run grep -niE ' on[a-z]+=' index.html: no event-handler attributes.

      Scan the zlib-decompressed PDF streams and the PDF object dictionaries for '/JavaScript', '/URI' or '/OpenAction': zero hits.
